This video is a full and complete comparison of the Blendjet 2 blender that I paid $50 for at Walmart and the Generic TEMU Blender that I only paid $8 for! We will be making 2 different drinks: one will be a protein shake and the other will be a strawberry Margarita. Make sure to let me know what you think of each blender down below.

Never put the powder first. Always liquid. It will bind at the bottom. You'll never get an honest result that way. Also you overfilled the Temu one. Never go near the top. 75%-80% is max. You were at 95%. It shut off because you crammed it. I've been using blender & juicers my whole life due to being a gym rat.
The Temu works fine if you don't use frozen (you're not supposed to) & keep it simple. Milk, water, juice, & fresh fruits in small chopped pieces.
Whoa!! It's not made for ice! You'll break it!

I saw someone demo the TEMU a couple of weeks ago. They paid something like $10. for theirs. I went to TEMU to check it out and it was on sale for $1.19. Of course I jumped on it. I actually read the directions. They say the light will be red while charging and turn green when charged. Initial charging took a while. According to the directions, you hit the start button twice to get it to work. It will run for 40 seconds at a time. If you need it to blend longer simply do the double push again.

I'd just get a BlendJet 2 since it does the work of both machines. It's still small enough for travel, and you don't have to babysit it. Thank you for the comparison, I was curious about the Temu one.

You’re supposed to add liquid first. Then you’re not supposed to over fill, it needs room to expand. I have both and they work just fine. Only difference is one is smaller AND less expensive. I would pay for the eight dollar one again.

I bought a regular Blendjet (not Blendjet 2) at Pennys just before Christmas for $40.00 then I started seeing the Blendjet 2 adds. I really believe that the problem was powder and berries first before liquid. It's shutting down because it's heating up due to the powder getting stuck. And just a little less liquid and it wouldn't of been messy, it just overflowed.
I'd buy the $9 one still....
I think if you did it correctly it would work just fine and worth the savings!
I think it ran out of charge for the drink!
Other's said theirs lasted longer, maybe return it and try another one.
I still think the expensive one is just to costly... Magic bullet is way less money and does the same thing and you get extra cup's Etc.

Gotta say, I would've done the blendjet FIRST because it was larger, and letting it sit with almond milk in it softened the frozen berries and whey! Of course the motors going to be stronger!!
PS- trying to mix the second drink KNOWING it needed charged first sort of nullifies the test, don't ya think? Also, I'm going to get the Temu, but I will always add some of the liquid first, THEN the powder.

Definitely worth it!...After a couple days of having the Blend Jet 2, My usage of it, and the cost, it paid for itself! ♥️

Yes always add liquid first in your blenders. When you are doing protein shakes with fruit, yogurt and protein powder you can use up to 8oz of liquid in the blendjet not the Temu one. Also the blendjet has measurement marks so when adding liquid first go to the 8 oz mark.

  • @gregkisinger4183

The proverbial, "You get what you pay for," definitely applies here. The Blendjet 2 motor is around 7.4 V and 1000 W of power whereas the little Temu guy is probably half that if even. I've had a Blendjet for about 2 years now and I see it more of an investment than an expense. The idea behind these portable blenders is just to be able to hit the "on" button and then let it do it's thing. If I would have to "Temusit" or babysit the blender, I think it would be more ridiculous and kind of defeat the purpose of the portability of this thing. I'd hate to be somewhere where I'm constantly shaking the blender for it to even go-that would be embarrassing! My guess is that more people, like me, want a more versatile blender to be able to blend various concoctions which would include frozen fruits, veggies, ice, etc and it appears that the Temu blender just wouldn't be up for the task. I recommend stashing away $8 per month and then after 6 months just buy the Blendjet but in reality probably most people would be able to afford the $50 and just buy the Blendjet outright and get to blending smoothies. Really, the glaring issue that I have with Blendjet, is that there is an increased 32 ounce capacity jar that is priced ridiculously high and so I'm just content with my 16 ounce Blendjet but the 32 ounce jar would have been a nice addition. But thanks for doing the comparison because I was curious about that little Temu guy and now I know.

(I’m going to get some protein powder for myself anyway- just cause I’m really weak)…could you do a video like this (it was soooo good! Straight to the point but not rushed. Not dragged out/too long and I’m on a really tight budget so I subbed!) there are just so many protein powders out there and they’re so expensive. Every dollar counts while I’m also willing to ‘splurge’ if it is good…(also when I was really sick my mom got me this powder from the health food store: it was amino acids I think(?)…It was chocolate and more watery, not a shake. I only had to use 4oz of water and that put weight on me fast- I’m asking if you know anything about that (for my hubby)…

I wish I had a good recommendation for you but I don’t. I just used what we had here at the house for the demonstration and it happened to be the one my son was using at the time.

I just made a glass of celery juice with my Temu and it didn’t want to work unless it was chopped teeny tiny

@@DoubleTsTreasures but after watching your video I’ll try shaking it because I think chunks get stuck under the blades because it runs fine with just water

Should have compared to the original blendjet... thank you for the review

My Temu blender couldn't even blend properly at all and the main thing was it didn't even hold a charge. I have a blendjet 2 and it didn't really blend well, especially blueberries. It also took a long time to charge. I finally found one that I was completely satisfied with, Ninja Burst, that motor is really powerful, blends completely, and doesn't take long to charge.

I have the Blendjet and Love it, bought. 7 and gave them as gifts except I kept one for me, everybody who got one Loves it. Well worth the extra dollars in my books.

The Temu one would mix up hot cocoa really well. We don't drink so the cheep one would be good for us.

Got a charger cord with my Blendjet. I've made salsa, guacamole and smoothies with the blendjet plus coffee and chi tea drinks. Blendjet for the win, plus your husband needs to upgrade his tequila brand. 🤷😂😂

You have to press the button twice fast, or you didn’t charge it long enough

Put water in first, then fruit, then powder and see if that works better!

Wonder if the cheaper ones on Amazon are similar to the ones on Temu. This is the 1st fail that I've seen on Temu. I like that you do honest reviews! I'm thinking about either buying 1 from Walmart or Amazon.

You should always add the liquid FIRST! No matter what the blender.
