rabbitmaze I don't think that part of Anakin Skywalker was bad acting. He had to act a young man in love. And he did his best. A young male acting in love says in a cheesy tone something about sand getting everywhere. Is that just a horrible line in the script or bad acting? He clearly tried to make something from that line... you just can't say it in any other way than for the public to think about his crack.
Jesse Meyer you can always try to make it seem more real, acting is pretty important in a scene and if you can't do it, it shows. The sand thing was stupid though I'll give you that.
New Trader Never denied that. However, there is only so much an actor can do with a really bad line. Even a decent actor is going to seem unnatural if what he is saying in the first place is also unnatural.
It also can't be easy acting in front of a blue screen. GL: Then something scary comes from over there. Over there, Hayden. No, something really scary.
I completely agree. I often wonder why he even gets casted for parts. He is a movie wrecker. The only ones he fit the part was Raising Arizona and Mom and Dad.

the sand scene in the star wars movie does actually make some kind of sense. Anakin was born on Tatooine, which is a desert planet so he is obviously sick of sand. also, because it was known that Anakin hated sand, Luke was deliberately raised on Tatooine too
There is no good way to deliver that line. Does it make sense sure, in real life. But it shouldn't have been in a movie. An A list actor probably would have refused it and had it re-written. I doubt Christian felt he had the status to argue it or didn't care. He's retired now and I doubt he cared. The director let it go, so ultimately it was his fault for not getting a good response or having it re-written. The fact that Padame brought up that she likes sand is really the dumb line anyways. I mean who says that?
Looper is getting worse and worse recently. That "where is TES6" video full of incorrect information was bad enough, but now the videos are barely matching the titles. Half of those movies were poorly written / directed, there's only so much the actor can do with what they're given.
omg... the amount of sheer stupidness in that comment is actually retarded. I can't be bothered to say why you're so horribly wrong it pains me so much. I can say with one hundred percent certainty that you're not an actor judging by how narrow-minded your view is.
Exactly. The actors are not the ones that deserve the blame 95% of the time. They're doing what they can with the garbage lines they're given, and the direction they're given. The actors get the blame because that's all you see when you watch the movie, but it's far more often the fault of the director and writers.
The problem is Lucas picks alot of fresh actors that have new faces but not necessarily the career depth to immerse and enhance the character, or to have any ability/say into challenging the director/take over some of the creativity in building a character through method acting or other means that the actor can channel through their own experience or personality. The more seasoned actors and directors that make the best Hollywood films usually play off each other through collaboration and some improvisations in emotions/dialogue.
techracer2003 The problem is that Lucas (when he was still involved in the films that is, which has been awhile now) never had much facility with directing actors in the first place. As he himself admitted, and nearly every actor who's worked with him could attest. He is not what one would call an "actor's director." His interest has always been in dreaming up flashy new special-effects and such, and has little to no interest in such things as character-development, character-introspection, motivation, etc. In interviews he has even said that his dream would be to do a total CGI movie and do away with actors altogether. With such an attitude on the part of a director, how could one expect to obtain a good performance from the actors involved?
On the same list as A/B list actors? Don’t forget, they’re on this list because people remember them. If you’ve made it on a list like this, you’ve made it.
Hayden's monologue in Episode II about sand isn't badly acted at all. It's just really, really badly written. I was hoping they'd include Portman's infamous "Oh hold me Ani" scene from Episode III because that was badly acted and written.
Brooke Elliott "So long ago when there was nothing but our love, no war, no politics!" That line makes my friggin' EARS bleed! When Padme gets Force Choked at the end, I was actually standing up and applauding.
When I saw Episode III in the theater, the worst part was when Obi-Wan steps out of the ship to face Anakin, standing there with his hand on the his hips. Then, the cheesiest dialog between Anakin and Padme take place. How can I say that for certain? Because during what was suppose to be one of the most dramatic scenes in the movie...When Padme rejects Anakin for turning ot the dark side...the whole audience was laughing. It was that bad. LOL. That, and Darth Vader's infamous "Nooooooooooooooooooooooo!"
I didn't think most of these were bad, there are some movies on Netflix/Amazon/Hulu and they're truly awful in acting, writing, directing, and entertainment. I don't know how they're allowed to sell those trash movies :/
Nomi Malone is an emotionally unstable young woman with a rough past she was trying to escape, and had undiagnosed mental issues, probably bipolar disorder and post-traumatic stress... In other words, Berkley's flailing performance was perfect---Paul Verhoeven knew what he was doing!
Exactly. I don't understand the hate. The movie is criminally underrated and Berkeley played the part perfectly. She knew nothing about show business, yet she had the rage, dominance and strong will to succeed, she made mistakes but learned very quickly how this world works. Verhoeven is a very energic director, a motivator, he usually shows himself how he wants the scene to be acted and Berkeley transcripted that same energy into her scenes
I couldn't agree with you more, how the hell did he get a career? He overacts every scene! Vince Donofrio is a close second but ill give him a pass because of Full Metal Jacket.
DickDastardlyx Have you seen Adaptation, or Leaving Las Vegas? Cage is a tremendous actor. Certainly he chews the scenery.. maybe his style isn't for everyone. But to me he's one of the most entertaining and engaging actors in recent history. He's also very polarizing. People seem to love him or hate him.
DickDastardlyx Kick-Ass, Face-Off, Leaving Las Vegas, Honeymoon in Vegas, Conair, National Treasure, Adaption, Moonstruck, Raising Arizona and National Treasure...proves that he can act well.
The Room is so bad, it looks like a parody of a really bad movie. I mean, you can't be THAT bad without especially trying to be bad. It's so bad, it's good.
Watch Rebel Without a Cause. I'm certain that's a happy mistake that turned out to be a weird seminal film. Not AT ALL comparing to the Room, but the Room is a perfect storm, kind of like Tiptoes and Troll2, it's magnificent in it's own right.
ALL THE SCRIPTS were SUPER BAD to begin with and THE DIRECTORS allowed them to PRINT these scenes! What did the actors have to DO with how they turned out??
I watched a few clips of The Room. . The thing that stood out was how good the real actors were in comparison to the guy who was the lead. I thought there must have been a lot of eye rolling during the filming. ACTION!
Lol, either Tommy Wiseau was delusional or he just does not understand what good acting really is - his acting style really consisted of him just blabbering out his lines without understanding what they meant, accompanied by a LOT of strange emphasis in certain words ("I did not hit her, I did NAHHHT", "Don't touch me, MAUderFAUker, get out"). Coupled by his strange foreign accent that caused his diction to be so unintelligible, it only made his performance ever worse (or better, depending on which perspective you are looking the film from lol).
Yea for sure. I think any actor no matter how good would have problems delivering some of those lines. It was so awkward. I also do not think the prequals where THAT bad, it is a shame really, I think they just needed a 'few' things changing to make them much better.
Michael Kozak it used to be. there used to be great Hollywood directors who demanded the best of their actors. now there are too many divas in front of the cameras and too many spineless jellyfish behind them.
People blaming the script for Hayden being bad.... Ewan Mcgregor made Obi wan amazing with a terrible scrift. Hayden was just bad, the script was bad too but oh Hayden...
James Haygreen! Thank you! Finally someone has a brain & can see right through Hayden's horrible acting! That excuse "It was the scripts fault! Hayden is a good actor," makes me sick. I'm an actor myself & I've seen some legends being able to act around a really bad script. I've seen Hayden act in better made films, but he would still be the worst thing about them. So thank you for being able to see right through Hayden's unlike most people who make excuses for him.
The scene where Anakin talks about the sand is more than filler. He was born and grew up in a desert. As a boy he had to hide from sand storms and couldn't leave the city for fear of the sand people. The acting wasn't bad and I don't think any true star wars fan is anything but ecstatic about the scene where Anakin gets to kiss Padme for the first time... and how are you guna bring up bad acting in the star wars movies without mentioning oh I dont know.. any one of Mark Hamill's terrible scenes?? "ITS NOT TRUE, ITS IMPOSSIBLE!"
Robert people bitch a lot about the prequels but they were alright. It brings more tragedy to the story of Vader. Just an emotional boy who always tried to do the right thing and save his family but fucked everything to the very end.
Bandwagon effect. It is cool to hate on it so people do it without giving it single thought. There was lot of mistakes in prequels but they were not that bad at all and i find Force Awakens much worse, cmon it is just reboot of IV.
Gabriel Flores I wrote this already but I'll write it again.... {My RATINGS for *SHOWGIRLS* is: 5🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟} I'm not ashamed to say that: I love that movie *SHOWGIRLS* 👍😉 *(Who else agrees with me? Don't worry, a "LIKE, thumbs up" will keep your shame anonymous, guys)* 😆 *No matter how bad some scenes were & how bad the overacting was, I enjoyed watching it!! And Idc who knows it* 😆👌
I don't know what's more ironic: the fact that you state that the SW prequels are still haunting fans' souls (when in retrospect the new movies have made them more appreciated despite their shortcomings) or the fact that the way the narrator performs in this video is kinda spotty at MANY instances.
Most of these scenes are not bad because of the acting, but because they are written badly...
Takes two to tango
Yeah... best actors in the world cannot fix a bad script. Actors face is the one we see so that's who gets blamed :/
Well the delivery of the lines is on the actor.
written badly, it's not even the script. More of the combination of directing and acting
Exactly my point!Obviously the girl in the second scene perform weird angry stuff with lines that dont match cos she had to do it based on the bed scenario..nevertheless good actors ussuly wouldnt accept such terible roles!
so... why isn’t the whole of riverdale included???
OOF where’s the lie though
Because Lili is actually pretty talented, almost everybody is. It‘s just terribly written.

I liked it. 2nd Season is where it goes downhill.
Bad acting isn't helped by a shit script.
1M0RTAL_CH1CKEN true
Or a bad director.
So Nicholas cage only acts in bad movies?
Hes like marmite love or hate him. I think hes great hate marmite though

idk the dialogue was a fucking mess. That entire movie is a mess but I love it lol.
This scene is one of my favorites from the film.
Anakin's scene was not bad acting, just weird script writing.
Acting has nothing to do with the writing. But yeah, the writing was equally bad.
flat and wooden weren't in the script though.

The script is a big part. But the actors are responsible to how they express it with. Like with facial expressions and emotions.

hype r
Aidan Allen people have different opinions, so don't hate on her -_-
They can ad lib.
Oh woops, sorry that was a reply to Just a bit of junkie, not the main comment.
star wars was more like bad writing than acting
Exactly. The actors are not the ones that deserve the blame 95% of the time. They're doing what they can with the garbage lines they're given, and the direction they're given. The actors get the blame because that's all you see when you watch the movie, but it's far more often the fault of the director and writers.
I don't know; in most cases, I'd say they're about evenly matched. (But then, that's just my opinion; I'm not a big SW nut to begin with...)
The problem is Lucas picks alot of fresh actors that have new faces but not necessarily the career depth to immerse and enhance the character, or to have any ability/say into challenging the director/take over some of the creativity in building a character through method acting or other means that the actor can channel through their own experience or personality. The more seasoned actors and directors that make the best Hollywood films usually play off each other through collaboration and some improvisations in emotions/dialogue.
techracer2003
The problem is that Lucas (when he was still involved in the films that is, which has been awhile now) never had much facility with directing actors in the first place.
It was a great combination of bad writing and acting.
The voice acting of this video is even worse (narrator).
the writing too
At least he's not talking 100 miles an hour with nasally delivery and no inflection like most of these videos.
I think 'The Room' had the most obvious horrible acting...by everyone.
macroevolve What? Noooo!
Go watch Neil Breen movies and broaden your horizon.
@@abohsukampret 😂
I’ve never heard of this movie but it looks terrible.
The struggle of wanting to become an Actor but fearing ending up on a list like this. 😩😩😩😭
Adam I watch videos like this to know exactly what not to do
Hence why voice acting is my path
On the same list as A/B list actors? Don’t forget, they’re on this list because people remember them. If you’ve made it on a list like this, you’ve made it.
OH HAI MARK

Oh you’re good 👌
They're eating her!! And they're going to eat me !!!
*oh my gauuuuuuuuuuuuuuuud*
I know we could die at any minute, but you know what I hate? Sand.
You're talking about sand? What about the droid attack on the wookies?
These aren't the hourglasses you're looking for.
No under your foreskin .
Jill Duffey it gets everywhere
Hayden's monologue in Episode II about sand isn't badly acted at all. It's just really, really badly written. I was hoping they'd include Portman's infamous "Oh hold me Ani" scene from Episode III because that was badly acted and written.
oH hOlD mE aNi, LiKe YoU dId On NaBoO
Since Portman is, IMO, a reasonably competent actor, I put everything bad about Ep 2 down to Lucas' notorious directing skillz. :/
Brooke Elliott "So long ago when there was nothing but our love, no war, no politics!" That line makes my friggin' EARS bleed! When Padme gets Force Choked at the end, I was actually standing up and applauding.
Not directing, but writing. Lucas has admitted in the past that he sucks at writing dialogue.
I don't know how they're allowed to sell those trash movies :/
actually the last two were pretty bad... but I've still seen worse
knbmakeshistory omg yes. Also I love your profile pic ❤️❤️
Putanginamo jimmy
What they mean is bad acting on mainstream movies
knbmakeshistory mee too I've see worse
‘I can’t believe you committed suicide’
~Neil Breen
Nicholas cage is the must famous worst actor
I couldn't agree with you more, how the hell did he get a career? He overacts every scene! Vince Donofrio is a close second but ill give him a pass because of Full Metal Jacket.
Raquel Rodriguez tremendously stupid take above. Cage lays it all out on the line.
Thanks for proving my point, those are all awful movies with the possible exception of Raising Arizona but he is still the worst actor of all time!
How'd it get buuuurrrnneeed
WITH FIRRRRE!!!!
GirrafeTown you forgot the question mark
I like Judge Dredd, it's not a bad part to me.
I agree. Great 90's Sci-fi Flick.
The Room is so bad, it looks like a parody of a really bad movie. I mean, you can't be THAT bad without especially trying to be bad. It's so bad, it's good.
Watch Rebel Without a Cause. I'm certain that's a happy mistake that turned out to be a weird seminal film. Not AT ALL comparing to the Room, but the Room is a perfect storm, kind of like Tiptoes and Troll2, it's magnificent in it's own right.
asdasdasdasd714 while the movie is really, really bad, i actually find it much more entertaining than star wars ep 1-3
asdasdasdasd714 the first few times I saw the room I really thought that it was a perody,I mean coooommmmooooonnnnnnn
It's funny how you don't notice acting till it's bad.
I think that's the thing about good acting, you don't notice it at all, it looks natural and the scene seems to flow naturally.
ALL THE SCRIPTS were SUPER BAD to begin with and THE DIRECTORS allowed them to PRINT these scenes! What did the actors have to DO with how they turned out??
Enrique Sanchez Gee, idk. Because they're *acting?*
That's like blaming a fumble on the coach. It's NOT the DIRECTOR'S fault, it's the ACTOR'S.
R Dill No it's not. Coaches can't edit their games, directors can.
Adam Floro exactly!
A bad tradesman always blames his tools
Showgirls was great from beginning to end. Watched it do many times because it's so so good!
All acting from Nick Cage is comedic gold and The Room is a masterpiece.
Philosophical Conundrum peggy sue got married lol omg
YOU'RE TEARING ME APAAAAART!!
I watched a few clips of The Room. . The thing that stood out was how good the real actors were in comparison to the guy who was the lead. I thought there must have been a lot of eye rolling during the filming. ACTION!
MrDrmillgram yeah none of them thought it was gonna be released 😀
Lol, either Tommy Wiseau was delusional or he just does not understand what good acting really is - his acting style really consisted of him just blabbering out his lines without understanding what they meant, accompanied by a LOT of strange emphasis in certain words ("I did not hit her, I did NAHHHT", "Don't touch me, MAUderFAUker, get out"). Coupled by his strange foreign accent that caused his diction to be so unintelligible, it only made his performance ever worse (or better, depending on which perspective you are looking the film from lol).
Nic Cage screaming "Ohhh my eyes" while getting attacked by digital bees is cinematic gold
My wife walked in on me cheating and when she confronted me I said "What? Noooo.." so she believed me.
Jose Maisonet of course us the
Jose Maisonet 🤣🤣🤣 omg
You should have started talking to her about sand.
You're tearing her apart!!
Jose Maisonet HAHAHAHAHAHAHA... Ha... ha... but this is just a joke, right? Right?
They're eating her
Then they're going to eat me
OH MY GOOOOOOD!
I thought the Troll 2 actor's performance was a perfect fit for the tone of the movie.

Too much talk...just show the scenes!
Renee Bloggs Then... Leave? Just look up 'bad acting scenes' on Google, then there's not talking, just reading
I agree just tell us what the movkie is andthen shut up. The badacting they are mocking we can't even hear.
The only to watch Looper or WatchMojo is by scanning through the timebar for the thumbnail of the next countdown
"I did not hit her I did not, oh hi Mark" I'm dying
The sand conversation actually makes sense, knowing where Anakin came from, and that his mom gets tortured and murdered by sandpeople.
That anakin scene always reminds me of a high school play scene!
thanks, but you're not that attractive.I sort of think as well, you might be a guyso.. yeahill give it a miss
How is that scenes acted badly by Hayden Kristen? It was a bad scripts not his acting.
Exactly.
The Star Wars Prequels aren't that bad...
Hayden wasn't bad, the script he got was bad..
hatsoffsam24 they were 💩💩💩💩💩
I am with you hatsoffsam24. I enjoyed the prequels.
Yea for sure. I think any actor no matter how good would have problems delivering some of those lines. It was so awkward. I also do not think the prequals where THAT bad, it is a shame really, I think they just needed a 'few' things changing to make them much better.
hatsoffsam24 the only good movie in the prequels is star wars episode 3
So the Star Wars prequels aren't that bad but the script is bad? Huh?
Hayden's portrayal of Anikan was perfect the dialogue was meant to be awkward
Isnt it the directors job to make the actors do the sceen again until its perfect?
Michael Kozak it used to be. there used to be great Hollywood directors who demanded the best of their actors. now there are too many divas in front of the cameras and too many spineless jellyfish behind them.
Not when movies are made by committee who only care about budgets and bodies in theater seats.
The actors if they really love what they do and want to do a good job should demand it for themselfs!
Thank God I never saw any of these movies.
I did Showgirls, it was fun.
Agreed! Showgirls is that cheeky and sexy eye candy show you can't take seriously.
the room is so funny
jx14aby the happening was pretty bad! Actually fucking awful🤣
jx14aby you're lucky; I saw the wickerman.
Whaaat?? Nooo!!
😌😂😂😂
THE HAPPENING.......IS A GREAT MOVIE!!!!!!! IS SORELY UNDERRATED IN MY OPINION........ANYONE AGREE???
"They're eating her... and then they're going to eat me........ OHMYGOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODDDDDD"
Any scene with Jessica Alba
100 % agree :D
have you seen her in Sin City?
dreamingcode nope! shes the best 😋
movienaut she was so good in the second one. A dame to kill for. Loved it
The new Dredd is infinitely better than the first.
Which doesn't make it good....
That new one was sorta alright, and I'm not even into gay movies for homosexuals that much at all, still liked it though!
David Kelly I agree the new Judge Dredd is way better I did a review for the crappy Stallone one on my channel if you want to check it out
no
N1GHT5 ouch dude lol
The sand scene is so awkward. It’s almost like that was the entire point, and you don’t understand Anakin’s character at all.
How about the whole of Catwoman. Ever scene is fucking awful.
YESS it was terrible me bieng a dc fan, i hated that whole movie
Don't forget Batman & Robin
It was horrible but it does not qualify for this list, because it is not memorable.
People blaming the script for Hayden being bad.... Ewan Mcgregor made Obi wan amazing with a terrible scrift. Hayden was just bad, the script was bad too but oh Hayden...
He has actually been fairly decent in other movies though.
No, he hasn't.
Wowzer Bowser Shattered Glass
Kat Kattington
James Haygreen! Thank you! Finally someone has a brain & can see right through Hayden's horrible acting!
That excuse "It was the scripts fault! Hayden is a good actor," makes me sick. I'm an actor myself & I've seen some legends being able to act around a really bad script. I've seen Hayden act in better made films, but he would still be the worst thing about them.
So thank you for being able to see right through Hayden's unlike most people who make excuses for him.
I DID NOT HIT HER IT'S NOT TRU IT'S BULLSHIT I DID NOT HIT HER I DID NAHT
oh hi Mark
*oh hai mark
What a funny story. Anyways. How's your sex life?
This scene was a masterpiece period
That last "what. ...no" is when I finally cracked n busted out laughing
Force awakens was kinda trashy and lame..
if he grew up in the desert he shouldve acted that better
Lee Lorenz Bitch please wtf do you know about acting hahaha he did fine.
I did nath heat er its nath true, its bulshiet i did nat hit er. I DID NAHT!
Oh, Hi Mark.
what a story mark!
"Yur my bess fren"

Eric Perez I have breast cancer
Dont even Ask. Because Lisa is loyal To me.
Meh, I love Star Wars so much that I don't care about anything that they talk about.
Ray is a terrible actor
+Street Is mean it's Rey
My mistake Sir
Not at all?
Street Is mean I completely disagree
To be fair that scene was not about anakin and his problems, it was about THAT DRESS. OKAY periodt.
The Room is one the greatest comedies ever made.
Nothing from the Last Airbender movie? That movie majorly sucked.
Beyonce Christ is that daniel howell because same
It didn't get the 'so bad its good' thing though. It was just bad.
bitch how???
Scotty Davlin dude wtf...
I don't care what anyone says..showgirls is so bad that it's good.. I quote it all the time. 😂
Gabriel Flores "Everybody got Aids and shit!" Classic.
Yesss I love it!
Tonya Atkinson I love show girls
Gabriel Flores lol i know right. Showgirls wasnt that bad of a movie.
Gabriel Flores
I wrote this already but I'll write it again....
{My RATINGS for *SHOWGIRLS* is: 5🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟}
I'm not ashamed to say that: I love that movie *SHOWGIRLS* 👍😉
*(Who else agrees with me? Don't worry, a "LIKE, thumbs up" will keep your shame anonymous, guys)* 😆
*No matter how bad some scenes were & how bad the overacting was, I enjoyed watching it!! And Idc who knows it*
😆👌
I don't know what's more ironic: the fact that you state that the SW prequels are still haunting fans' souls (when in retrospect the new movies have made them more appreciated despite their shortcomings) or the fact that the way the narrator performs in this video is kinda spotty at MANY instances.
This is damn sad... and Cage's "Not the bees" should have been #1
The Room is a masterpiece, unsubscribed.
Member? it doesn't seem like it
EdLndrs12 To the uncultured. Anyway, how's your sex life?

Joanne VanKuren This person was joking.
СѦԱՏѦLҒѦLL 60 Seriously, I was about to go in, those insults came in thick and fast over SARCASM. Good Lord.
