The Pokemon games are all filled with various trainer classes that you will face throughout your adventure. Even though they are minor characters, they all have a certain charm to them, and also have many interesting facts concerning them as well! In today's video we will be beginning a mini series where we cover amazing facts about EVERY Pokemon trainer class, starting with those from the first and second generation!

About Gentlemen not being in XY I think that's inaccurate, I'm pretty sure the trainer class was just renamed Monsieur to fit the setting, the Monsieurs fit perfectly the frequent design choices for the Gentlemen
Actually I think this is actually accurate because in the English version there was a a class when you were in the battle chateau on the way to the second gym which you get to battle there is a trainer class called the Baron which is a title found among royals and knights alike making this a class only found in the kalos region but the gentlemen class trainer is always there you just have to look and same with sun and moon but the gentlemen class trainer was wearing a vacation shirt showing that either they originally were from Alola or they were from another region

A trainer in the Victory Road of X and Y says something along the lines of having to train so his body is ready (a reference to Reggie). I've not seen anyone notice this yet.
It would've been nice if SWSH had Steel type trainers called Knights. I mean, Galar does take some inspiration from the UK so I guess it would be quite nice to see.
The UK, a country known for its prominence of armoured knights just milling about in modern times.

Who else is curious as to why Gens 2 and 6 are the only Pokemon generation where you can find NPCs battling each other in the over worled.
@Pott Rott I don't think that one counts because it leads to a boss battle and is a part of the main story.
I don't know if it always happens, but I noticed during an X LP I was watching that while in the Santalune forest with your rival's, Tierno seems to get into a battle. Calem ran on ahead and at the edge of the screen I just noticed both Tierno and a Youngster got the "!" Bubble over their heads and he stopped to face the kid. I assume it's a battle.
As a kid some of the lines didnt really make sense but now "I dont come here often, but I will fight you" cracks me up every time
Please! Skinheads were a youth culture from the Uk which mixed punk, northern soul, and scar/reggae music. Please do not confuse them with right-wing nationalists who chose to steal the 'skinhead' appearance as their own! Their origins, especially in Britain, is that of a group that was formed from many different cultures and far from the Nazi emphasizes that chose to take on their look!

I played that game a couple years ago and it was ok. Nothing spectacular as far as I'm concerned.
Okay but for real did anyone else notice the hiker Jebediah with the Probopass also had a desert Pokémon Hippopatas and a pig Pokémon Piloswine? Like it couldn’t be more on the nosepass.
Max is also hinted at in gen 3 where a school kid will ask for a rematch in the route between Rustboro and Rusturf Tunnel where you need HM01. Having a ralts along with a Duskull.
I feel bad for you. You put all this work into making these videos, and you spend all this time making them. But other youtubers just vlog themselves or just react to different videos and they get so many subscribers even though they don’t put much work (example: Morgz)

I feel bad because here he is being positive & friendly and yet some so-called fans go after him for petty reasons. If he suggests that one upcoming game or another might be decent and not the worst thing to ever happen to the franchise, some people scream bloody murder. ~shaking my dang head~ Thankfully he stays positive and himself instead of becoming hateful or selling out.

Especially the Hex Maniac. Along with the fairy tale girl, Chaser (female) and Cool Trainer (female) Both of which from Pokemon Colosseum and XD.

Oh yeah, I can't wait to hear about the God trainer class. I ended up seeing it in my Fire Red randomizer, and sat there for a few moments going, "Is this real?" . I think there is also data for it the gen 4 games too, it'd make sense for Arceus at least...

Never got that event because Game Freak thought that bringing an ancient flute of unknown power to the most story driven part of the game, Mt. Coronet, was too hard for kids to understand, but Braille on a screen was totally fine. Big rip.

Pt 2 of trainer class please
While watching this, I did one round of the Max Lair while trying to get a shiny Kyurem, or at least attempted to. He pretty much landed 2 attacks that knocked out 3 of the 4 Pokemon and then killed the last one. While checking the spoils I got a Shiny Absol which did not appear shiny when I used it. It's name is Jaiden Anime because I was randomly thinking of Jaiden Animation.
I believe that Jr. Trainers were called go by Camper and Picknicker in the Gen 1 virtual console.
The female poke fan trainer class has Clefairy in Jhoto cause of Clefairy being one of the few that got a baby form in Jhoto.
Since my first journey in Pkmn Silver Version by now I should be an Ace/Veteran Trainer if not Gym Leader or Elite 4 Member maybe even a Frontier Brain. I fell in love with Pkmn so much i went back and Grabbed the original Red Version just to experience the beginning. I then went on to Ruby/Emerald - Firered-Diamond/Platinum - I never played X & Y or B/W hence B2W2 due to me being in high school. But I always kept up with the anime and watched gameplay of the games. Once i got out of high school Sun & Moon already ran it’s course then Ultra Sun & Moon released and I got back into the games. The Let’s Go Games didn’t appeal to me bcuz Kanto always seemed the most boring region to me so I never wanted to play them. Now that i’m al grown up I want to play Sword & Shield.
Gen V is well worth giving a go, shame to miss out. B2W2 felt like some of the most complete games we've ever got, would reccommend.
The female Rocket Grunt was not, in fact, based on Jessie and\or Cassidy. Instead, both the GS Rocket Grunt and Cassidy were both based on the same character, the nameless Rocket Girl designed by Ken Sugimori for the TCG.
If I am correct,the rocket grunt's design was later taken for Jessie's mother

There is actually many different studios that did the dubbing of Dragonball Z which the it's over 9000 line has many variations mainly due to funnimation ocean studios and if course but not limited to 4Kids making their version of an anime like Dragonball Z a staple for cartoon network which aired Dragonball Z during the toonami timeslot in the mid 2000s and when the same thing with the one piece dub came from the same studio until it was taken over by funnimation before the romance dawn arc

The 6th gen games still do have a gentleman trainer class. In English they are called Monsieur but in other languages they are still Gentleman.

In gen 1 and 2, The Jugglers had a different name in Japanese, they were called Gypsies. Take a guess why that was changed.
