- this is just a little video about the horses i currently have in my barn. it is meant to give a history about them and tell what my future plans for them are - just because i highlighted on some of the negative parts of their training does not mean i don't appreciate them. i did my best to be real and talk about some of the stuff i went through with them because training them is not always perfect and i don't want to portray it like it is.
i am extremely grateful for the tremendous support from my parents and the people that allow me to ride their horses. i am very lucky. this video is not made to brag or anything like that. it is soley so you guys can have a better understanding of the horses that i work with!
edit: thunder is slightly off in the back and probably always will be because of an injury hence why i say he’s a flatwork only horse. all of my horses and thunder get looked at by a vet regularly (like every 8 weeks regularly.) he has been rehabbed and is cleared for flatwork by a very knowledgeable vet. it’s extremely upsetting that people honestly think i’d ride a lame horse. there is a reason i did not talk about this in the video, mainly because he’s not my horse and it’s not my place. the only reason i’m putting this here is because i know the owner has no intentions to sell him. but for all of you know it alls out there, he is totally cleared for work and you guys should ask questions before just assuming the worst in people.

You inspire me to ride and train harder and to never give up
i have to say in my experience Clydies are usually pretty sensitive horses. i have a 17.1h clydie x and when i tried him he was amazing to ride and i was in the same boat we bought him quickly, because the police force wanted to have him. He was super head shy, didn't like people/things touching his legs (poles were his worst nightmare) or lower tummy (god help me when rugging him), had very bad trust issues and was afraid of men or tall, dominant people ( i too think someone had scared him at some point). Don't get me wrong though he is such a sweety, no nasty in him. i took him back to basics, desensitised and basically re-broke him (i had no history or papers on him) now 6-7 months on he is the quietest, smoochiest horse i have and happily trots over 1m fences.

That was awesome, don't ever stop making videos, haha! Your horsemanship instincts are spot- on, and you are such a good rider, your jump position is amazing! You are living my dream for sure, I wish I could have gotten started much younger, I am a bit late to the party but it is a party I am never leaving, haha, unless I become physically unable, and I don't even wanna think about that...

All of your horses frame up so nicely! Any tips for getting them go come round. That's my ottbs biggest stuggle
My suggestion is lots of circles and counter bend at the trot but, if they get really tense go fown to the walk and ask for the counter bend on a circle. After a few weeks they will start softening through their body. After that your horse will frame up automatically and soften through their body as well. Always slow down a gate if your horse gets tense. That's what I do to train a frame.

I want a request because I’m planning on owning horses when I’m old enough to live on my own. I would like you to do a video on everything you need to get a horse. I enjoyed this video and seeing all your horse's. You did a great job at telling us about each one. You are living most girls dream. I hope to see you riding in the grand prix one day or the olympics.. You surely have great parents that gave you all this. But I love the fact you seriously love it and you have such a passion for horses, it's to be admired.

When I got my horse, he was right off the track too, and just like you he has done pretty much everything I could ask for and I just love my Jericho boy and I’m so thankful for him to! I’m just a bit worried about him because he is 32 years old, but his gut is just so strong, that he doesn’t have to eat mash or senior food! He still eats his hay, so now I’m not very worried about him, and he still is a riding lesson horse, competition horse, and a summer camp horse!!!! I just love him so much!!!!!

Those are nice looking horses 😱😻😻😻. I am in love with Bits!!! And I’m pretty sure you can have more than one heart horse. I used to work with harness racing horses for a trainer that mostly had 2 and 3 years old, so I fell in love a few times. And some of them, I couldn’t tell which one I prefer! So I consider myself lucky to have had 5 heart horses in my life, even if it was just for a year or 2. ( I probably took care of 75 horses in my times, so 5 isn’t much!!!!) And I know one day, I will be lucky enough to own my heart horse. (Cause lets be honest, I couldn’t afford there horses when I was 18 and in school, but I knew them way better than their owners!!!). I love my mare but I don’t have the same feeling towards her than I had with the others.

wow it's super weird to see that people in other countries have a completely different seat. if you sit like that in the Netherlands you will be looked at very strangely. you can't sit like you do for the jump only if you go over it. you have to sit here in your saddle and only come forward when you cross the jump. you remain seated in the course. very funny to see how different it is xx

Gosh! I wish I could buy those beautiful OTTB you're selling...but, sadly I cannot afford them or have the proper experience to bring them along I have only been riding for almost a year ( 1 year in feburary of 2019) so that is definitely not enough to get my own horse and also have the knowledge to bring one along.

Makayla Baby, Marco would have to go through the barrel pattern, get him used to the bit and she saddle. That would take months of training and conditioning. That’s why he should just stick to what he is doing now.
