The director took too many zany twists for my liking, and the whole time travel arc was downright insane. I hope they get a new director for the 3rd season.
And the whole recasting and replacing the original actors really messed it up. Shame, I was looking forward to this season.

I love how the game plopped the ‘go to the future’ plot right in your lap because that’s exactly what a horrible adaptation of something would do.
This show really jumped the shark when they introduced time travel like 5 minutes in

The Bob Family was dead to begin with. So, Hollywood desecrated their namesake and hired actors to portray them for a little extra cash.

The Bob family : *guess I'll die again*
The Netflix adaptation of The Bob family, the Christmas special edition, its starts with Ross Bob meeting a time traveller and getting annoyed the future is happy and Geneva Bob exists so he kills his family to see if that makes a difference it barely makes a difference. Then Ross Bob asks the time traveller how to mess up the future and the time traveller gives him the stand Country Roads so Ross Bob can rain chaos at the future, he even made some people litter. In the climax of the the episode Ross Bob goes to the future to see how many of his descendants of his are alive but he gets struck by a meteor but lives due to his stand Country Roads and sadly sees that a good few of his descendants are alive.
Overall I would give 7 out of 10, so many plot points and a few plot holes. It was interesting to follow though it did something to the original I guess.

i saw rt streaming sims and thought, "well, this'll be fun!" and immediately joined to a child named waluigi wearing a purple alien hat.
Fun Fact: In the character creator, when creating clothing, if you select the colour palette in the bottom right of the window, you can change the colour scheme for the clothing, and guess what? Purple is a colour!
ross bob lived 2 days, and was a purely good being, just a recap for new people
Season one: the day to day lives of the Bob household until Hank finds a time machine and everyone goes to the future
Season 2: Attempts to change the future are made by killing off most of the family and Billy Bob is still in a box
Season 3: Ross Bob is the final survivor and attempts to create a dystopian future where no one survives and he nearly dies to a meteor
10/10 would watch

It's been so long since RTGame has done anything with the Sims in general, 3 years since this final video... time really flies, doesn't it? I'd personally be down for a whole new story in one of the games.

so to recap season 1 lasted about a couple minutes of them just swimming in a pool and finding a time machine and season 2, 3 and 4 were just about destroying society

So here's a backstory for this:
After the filming of the last episode of the bob family the actor's contracts expired and the studio didn't feel like renewing it so all the actors left, the studio, after checking their records, found that someone in the studio had accepted a contract for another season of the bob family, so with only a few months left to shoot the new episodes they had a small budget to higher on a new cast to finish the season they had mistakenly agreed to.

The Netflix Bob family homes takes the idea of a shotgun house (see front door from backdoor) and makes it into a canister house (multistory hellscape that takes door to backdoor to a whole nother level)

I love how even in the latest Sims, you can still defy physics in build mode. I thought that was an oversight of the old, but nah I think the devs know what we like :)
