Modeling a fan in CATIA or Solidworks is gonna be hectic. I suggest you try openVSP where you give in parameters and the model is done. And then import it to Ansys
Even though it might be too late, what he did was ctrl+a (selected all faces), then deselected the outside faces to get the blade. You can also do it by use box select in face select mode
Listen here there will be no boundary conditions because we are simulating the effect of propeller blade on almost stationary air so propeller rotates it will suck in air and leave out

Which version of ANSYS are you using? I have ANSYS 16.0 and it looks quite different. What do I do?
bro what steps are you doing in 8.40 for selecting just the propeller because i triy to do it but the whole inner domain is delected.
Ctrl+A and then Ctrl+F all surfaces of the solid until only the propeller remains

There are some ERRORs. Mainly in mesh and setup. This result is not valid. My main concern is the setup.
but when you have a rotating domain, are you not also artificially rotating any air that goes into that domain? or is only the mesh rotating?
