Hi,that is a great video, just one question, it seems that the curvature of the airfoil of your blade is wrong, the camber should be on the other direction. Correct me if I was wrong.
Thank you brother for all your training videos. I have a question for this tutorial. If it is possible, can I make angular velocity in fans, not in fluid zone? If yes is there something I should change in the fluid zone properties rather than the speed? Thank you very much
A question: you set up the inlet with a velocity of 0.1 m/s. Doesnt this fix the airflow rate at that value (v x A) independent of the speed of the fan? I have seen other tutorials where in such a case the set up inlet and outlet as pressure outlets. Not sure what is correct
In this case, we assumed a constant flow at the inlet when the flow has STABILIZED. However, you can also use input and output pressure. In order to analyze the variation of the flow at the inlet then the simulation will have to be transient. Best regards
CFD NINJA, which CFD Modeling for Turbomachinery are you using? Is it a single or multiple reference frame? (I guess its a SRF, but maybe its a mixing plane or frozen rotor...) Your mesh entities are well defined! (case, inlet, outlet, rf and interior) I got it, but what about the mesh in the interfaces between the elements? thanks a lot!!
Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us, much appreciated. Quick question, have you ever experimented with automating FLUENT? Writing a script to update the boundary initial values from temperature sensors and running each respective simulation?
Hi sir, please also tell the dimensions of the fan length of tunnel etc so that we can validate the results and get a fair idea of it....also it'll be great if you could share the STL file for it....🙏
Thanks In this case it is necessary to have more than 500,000 mesh elements (no student version), simulating a fan with few elements would lead to erroneous results. Regards
When I try to import the .cgns, FLUENT only lets me select 'mesh and data', the option 'mesh' is greyed out. It then crashes on import, with the message that 'no cell zone is selected' and something about a segmentation fault. Any ideas what I can try? Thanks.
Hola, he querido hacer simulaciones para obtener la presión de sonido con un ventilador, en artículos que he leído dicen de una solución híbrida LES-RANS, tienes algún vídeo que me pueda servir? He utilizado este para las condiciones en el fluent.
hi, may i know, is there a video or tutorial that you made for a rotating axial turbine in a straight pipe to see the water flow and other things? because i cant find tutorial on simulation in a pipe, please help me, huge thanks if anyone helping me.
Steady means that the flow has stabilized and is the final condition of the transient simulation. This can be done in simulations with RANS turbulence models.
No, you have the average of the velocity fluctuations, the flow is the same for steady simulations as transients, when they reach the dynamic fluid equilibrium.
Thx u very much broo
still waiting the video with moving blade animation hehehe regards

can u show me the setting geometry process? thanks

Да круто. Считал во flosimulation подобную задачу, но нужно еще в ansys попробовать. Интересно будет сравнить результаты.
Great friend.

hi... i am big fan of you. kindly make video of rotor dynamics simulation and rotor rotating animation when air coming .tnq
Thanks friend, I will try to do it in the future. thanks for the suggestion.

Can i get the mesh file .msh fr this.Unfortunately i couldnt open cgns from the website
can you please show me how tofind forces and torque of rotor in fluent?

hi bro, can you take a look at mosaic mesh on new fluent now! I'm waiting for your judgement
Hi friend;
I will make a tutorial soon, I upload a video tutorial about that.
Best regards
could you please share the link for geometry and meshing as wel,l this can help me out in my project
Is there a tutorial for modeling the geometry of the axial fan?
Thanks so much bro
You're welcome friend.
Best regards
thanks sooooooooo much
You´re welcome
Best regards
Hi, your tutorials are great, can you please make some tutorials for pigging?
Thanks friend; I will try in the future.
Best regards
@@ansys_cfd Thanks, I am looking forward to that.
Can u show me the meshing of this setup please
How much time it takes to complete the results?
Very nice video!
I´m new to ANSYS, how can I import the mesh files? It seems that my student version cant open the cgns file of the fan
Thanks

Can you please provide the name and link of the program so we can download it

Hi friend,
Are you using the Commercial or research license from Ansys?
Regards
@@ansys_cfd I´m getting the same error, and I´m using the student version, so I guess it just works with the commercial version?

what is the rf?
How do you have only fluid in cell zones? Aren't rf and case solids?
Is it possible to define rotation for solid?
Control volume in CFD simulations is a negative volume, yes it is possible move the solid
How the results are steady? Turbulence is an unsteady flow right? I'm confused
Steady means that the flow has stabilized and is the final condition of the transient simulation. This can be done in simulations with RANS turbulence models.
@@ansys_cfd RANS. That means you've averaged the flow? So the simulation is just an avg of transient one?
No, you have the average of the velocity fluctuations, the flow is the same for steady simulations as transients, when they reach the dynamic fluid equilibrium.
Hi Bro! What would happen if I set the number of iterations to 100?
Hi friend,
The important thing is that the number of iterations is sufficient to achieve convergence.
Best regards
hi bro, how to calculate the works?
Good question friend, You need to create a CEL expression about this equation in ANSYS CFX and after run the simulation.
Regards
