Heidi, you have 2 great friends on this video. Hopefully, all of use viewers (and especially those that comment) are friends of yours as well. Awesome video, and already looking forward to your next video.
What an adventure! Your story telling is amazing. I love the way you have allowed your friends to narrate some of the clips. What a great way to share your travel journey. Thank you so much for making these vlogs and sharing with your World Wide Web audience. Greatly appreciated and please stay safe 😊
What a great video. Thank you for your service Linny 🙏🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧💜💜💜 Sandra … just popping home and back … amazing! Wonderful adventures ladies! Safe journeys all. Portugal looks very pretty. … but I have to say … I am missing the beautiful green and landscapes of the UK. Much love and respect.
That was great fun, very interesting and enjoyable, especially accompanied this time with a glass of Johnnie Walker Black Label. Portugal has some very fascinating places tucked away, not advertised but waiting to be discovered. I love it when ever we got therre.
Thanks Lovely Heidi for taking us along to see your friend Linny on this part of the adventure and it was great to see that Sandra is back with you. It's almost like home from home with all the pot holes but with better weather. I hope that you and Little Bonny are doing well. Take care and all the best. Stevie
Heidi you are pure class! Iol bet you have not been told that too often? But generally we really mean it! Thank you, both for great entertainment and the enjoyment of your adventures me and wife would so love a rum with you two it would be a hoot! Keep doing what you do its putting joy into the lives of people in all walks of life!
Ahoy! Not all I’m afraid as it takes me so long to make a piece of music and I don’t have any of the equipment with me. Plus by paying for a subscription, i can find more appropriate music to fit the scenes better …. Hopefully when I’ve more time I’ll make more music too 😃😃
This is such an amazing series, you and Sandra are such wonderful storytellers…not so easy to tell a story that is engaging, interesting, and beautifully filmed. Love this!!! Thank you. ❤
Micky's place is a real treasure! Hard to find eccentric and quirky places like it in the US anymore, the instagram-Millennial-minimalism vibe took over the coffeeshops and other lifestyle thirdspaces
Your comment about pot holes made hubby and I laugh. You’d also feel right at home in Sydney Australia with our pot holes everywhere. Just wanted to say we are really enjoying your van series. We love sitting down together to watch our “friend” on her travels.
Love what you are doing as I'll never get to where you have been and sigh recuperating slowly after covid so been watching your channel from the beginning =-) Take care =-)
Was a Croc wearer back in the early 2000s; however, I found they had no grip, thus resulting in slipping on any surface remotely wet. Also, any place aptly called ".....Place to Stay," certainly has my vote. Great video as always. Enjoy life. It's too short.
WOW, we are having such fun watching your travel adventures, whether boat or van...yeeeeheeee... You are such a delightful, fun character. Thank you for making a really bright spot in our week. 🩷🩵💚💜🤗🤗🤗✌️✌️✌️
Great video Heidi, it's taken me day two to watch it. I adopted a rescue puppy, and boy oh boy... it's a lot of work. Happy to learn you will be heading back to the pirate ship.
This is just between you and me Heidi, please don't tell anyone else. I do indeed have a pair of crocks ( no not them, don't be rude). Mine sit by the back door for nipping out to the garden. Bird feeding, washing and stuff. Love your videos, you're just natural whereas others try too hard to be entertaining. Don't change 🤗👍
Oh my oh my what a fabulous country Portugal is and the camp sites you stayed on especially Miki’s were just magical! I have been so enjoying your wonderful van journey’s and I think you should do it every year and maybe explore France more and Germany, which is very beautiful. Watching Bonnie have such relaxing fun will Sandra’s lovely two dogs and all the other dogs you have met is so lovely, she is doing so very well and obviously having the time of her life just like you and Sandra are. I can’t wait for next weeks travel vlog. Stay safe, and carrying on having wonderful fun girls. One more thing, that huge castle you visited was enormous compared with British ones, wow they built them big over there!❤x x❤
Aww thanks so much Janis, yes I would love to do France, Italy and Germany in the future and even Poland but the problem with winter time is they are bloody freezing 🤣🤣 so I would need to do summer time which is boating season and when I earn my money 😩😩 but hopefully in the future I can try to make this happen 😃😃
Fantastic trip away Heidi, I.m 68 and have three pair of crocs. I've just repaired one crock as my big toe wore through. I cut up the heel strap ( never use them) and used some silicone to stick a piece down, it's working well. Keep enjoying yourselves, Cheers form WA Trev
Nice one Heidi, really loved your adventures abroad. Now looking forward to you being back on the canals. I started watching because you were on the canal, but you entertain whatever you do. Thank you ❤️

Fantastic adventures. Lovely areas you’ve been in - and isn’t Linny fabulous. Yes, croc wearer here….good in the garden! That castle was amazing - beautiful colour and so full of history. Thank you so much for sharing it with us. 😊

Welcome to portugal. Great to hear Bonnie is getting her pet passport. We have a rescue also, brought him to portugal from nyc. Our Toby has been to more countries than most of my family. Keep up the great telling of your adventures
Little Bonny so brave had her feet in the sea for 2seconds😆 Loving everything you do. Loved the blooper it is hard to get your tongue around some places!!
Another great vlog. You are seeing (and showing us) some incredible sights and architecture. Bonny does NOT have problems, she has 'interesting character traits"! Seeing Sandra's retrievers enjoying a swim reminded me of something I saw a long time ago in Reading. I was walking in Kings Meadow (by the River Thames) when a guy with a large black (and very hairy) dog got close to the river. The dog, when he saw the river, took off at high speed towards it, towing his owner behind him (who, because of the way his hand was looped through the lead, could not let go). Said dog entered the Thames, followed very shortly afterwards by his owner. The owner's hand then came loose, so he was able top get back to the bank, climbing out soaking wet and swearing. I was grinning, and the guy, when he looked at me, could see the funny side of things (fortunately it was a nice warm day). I said something like "It looks like he is enjoying the swim", and got the response of "I have never had a dog do THAT to me before!". I asked what the breed of dog was, and got the reply of "New...something". "Newfoundland?". "That's it!". It turned out that the owner was not aware of some of the Newfoundland traits, but had known that they were very friendly and good with children (they are known as The Gentle Giants). When I told the owner that the Newfoundland also had such a thick second coat that their skin never gets wet, and that they also have webbed feet he did not believe me (on the second point, at least). It was well over an hour before the dog climbed out (he was a youngster, first time in deep water, and was having WAY too much fun to want to leave), and the owner grabbed a paw, splayed it out, and exclaimed "I've got a duck, not a dog!". A month or so later I saw the pair coming onto Kings Meadow, and as soon as it was safe the owner let him off the lead, whereupon the dog sprinted to the river, causing a very impressive splash as he entered the water.
Waiting for your next video, I ran across today 11 March a video about how they drained and are repairing that huge aqueduct you went across on your boat. Really interesting and impressive. Look it up on TH-cam. I think you might enjoy the history behind this..take care.😊
Loved the Van Life adventures with you,Sandra & the dogs I’ve hired a Motorhome in May to take my Irish Wolfhound on holiday I think if I enjoy it I’ll be buying one Also friends with Michelle Martin who has drawn my dog she’s an amazing artist 🙏🏻❤️
What a wonderful video, lovely to meet Linny too. So a cormorant is bigger, with a heavier, thicker bill than a shag. A distinguishing feature is that cormorants have eyes situated within skin while a shag's eyes are in a black feathered area on their heads. Also a cormorant has a flatter forehead than a shag which has a steep one, with a crest on top during the breeding season. If you see one of these birds with a white thigh patch (visible well in flight too) it is definitely a cormorant. I hope that helps with your birding a little!
Hi Heidi, I have been a crock fan since they first came out here in Australia, I have croc thongs, fur lined crocs, the standard crocs and the ultra big crocs which I call my four wheel drive crocs, quite the croc farm here at home, luv em!
Hi Guys, first video I found you were on the UK Canals. You were lick a breath of fresh air. You & your friends are just so real no BS just getting on with life & enjoying it 👍 Now your Van living on Holliday 👍 Your not just fun but so informative about everything. Have to admit some Boat & Van lifers it’s like they look for “Dramas”
Looking forward to seeing a vlog of when you get back to the boat and what you have to do with a check list to make her ship shape and canal worthy again
Having just left teaching and with my Symphony van ready and waiting on the drive, your films are perfect for helping me with the little niggles of anxiety stopping me from taking the plunge and setting off. Thanks for being such amazing spokespersons for a wonderful alternative view on life
I would have gone the Tarifa - Chiclana - Cadiz and Jerez way to Portugal . Yes i do wear crocs fitted with headlights useful for walking over rough ground at night 😂👍😎
We snowed in the last video it was a nightmare with all the farmers protests plus we needed somewhere safe to put the vans while Sandra popped back to Ireland so camping with friends was a good option to help with her dogs 🏴☠️😃
Crocs are very popular here in New Zealand. At my hospital last week a surgeon had one pink and one blue on, so funny. I have been wearing them for years, love them. Keep safe girls
Hi Heidi, I’ve had a break from watching your content. Not anything too serious just you got lost in the shuffle. I’m playing catch up now. Looking forward to seeing you ladies once again return to the canals. I think I’ve forgotten what the rum wench actually looked like… Anyway, good luck on your voyages to come. Ben from Australia 🇦🇺
Just loving these vlogs, you and your friend Sandra having a great laugh. Some of the things you say are so funny. Bonnie is having a great time too, so lovely for her.
All those quirks of Bonny are features rather than problems. She accommodated herself well to the new pups on the trip and is so adorable. We once had a Shellie who barked every day when the postman came by. It was annoying but we figured out that she barked because it worked. She barked and then he was gone!
Very true …. We are still working with Bonnys socialising though as she gets so worked up some times when there are dogs she doesn’t know about … she barks so much and so long that she ends up shaking and really stressed out, panting so I have to take her away for a while until she calms down
Bonnie hit the jackpot when she went to live with you 🥰 I am a crock wearer ha ha , really enjoying these videos, you have lovely adventurous friends :) does Linny have a channel :)
Aww thank you, no she doesn’t have a channel but I’ll try to get her on a video again on the future as it’s great to have lots of fellow travel buddies to have adventures with 😃🏴☠️

Nice to see your friend seemingly doing well after her long stint in the forces, a lot find civi life hard to find their place in. Thanks for the vid Heidi.
Crocks have holes in them so your dignity can drain out of them 😆 Loving your camper van adventures.😎
😂😂
Difference between a Cormorant and a Shag is about 5 pints. Hope this helps 😁
😂😂😂😂
Asking your partner for a cormorant can result in disappointment. Does that help?
Crocs always! Lilly thank you for your service. Another good video thanks Heidi and Sandra for the color !
The Pastel de Belém, egg custard tart was voted by the Portuguese people as one of the top seven best dishes of Portugal.
Amazing 😃🏴☠️

The good thing about Bonnie and the water, she is so confident now with the two goldies, she wanted to join them in the water!! Way to go lassie 💪🐶🐶
Haha she did but she hates the water, she hates the rain … screams to go in but she is getting better 😂😂

All those quirks of Bonny are features rather than problems. She accommodated herself well to the new pups on the trip and is so adorable. We once had a Shellie who barked every day when the postman came by. It was annoying but we figured out that she barked because it worked. She barked and then he was gone!
Very true …. We are still working with Bonnys socialising though as she gets so worked up some times when there are dogs she doesn’t know about … she barks so much and so long that she ends up shaking and really stressed out, panting so I have to take her away for a while until she calms down
I've binge watched all your videos and finally I am caught up. Looking forward to what's in your future! - Jane
