Arid regions don’t put threaded taps because water thieves will bring a tanker and fill it for ‘free’ at public expense and sell it or use it for irrigation. Sad but true…love your adventures and Sandra is the perfect traveling companion!!!
Really enjoying all your videos, had an idea for the water tap problem, if you have a funnel, take the fittings off the end of hose pipe and insert he funnel.nozzle into the hose and hold under the tap, hope it works😊 take care and best wishes
How beautiful of Vincent and Kathleen to help you out and show such hospitality and generosity. These values go back to ancient times and it's nice to see people still willing to open their homes and hearts to help travellers along their way.
It looks like Bonnie is enjoying your big adventure just as much as you two girls appear to be. Well done for living your best life and thank you so much for sharing it with us all. This trip is a real inspiration and the scenery looks fantastic. (‘Maybe one day!’) 😉
Hey Heidi, great vid as usual. The little orange you bit into ( naughty Sandra 🤭 ) is probably a Calamondin. They are mainly grown as ornamentals because they are exceedingly tart but they do make excellent marmalade. The other one is a kumquat, specifically a Nagami Kumquat. You can tell by the oblong shape. They are also used for marmalade and candied peel. The ones that are usually eaten skin and all are rounder ones called Meiwas. The rest of the citrus looked wonderful. 🍊🍋. Safe travels you two. 🧡🤗🧡
What a fantastic video. I’m not sure why I enjoy them so much, I think it’s just watching people enjoying the simple things in life, travelling, good company and enjoying every minute of it. Wishing you both good health and safe travels👍
Hello Heidi, Sandra, Bonnie and Sandra's two fur kids ... thank you to Vincent and Kathleen for being a host to you. That was wonderful and I know you guys had a wonderful time visiting. I love the drone video portions and it is so nice to see sun and beautiful ocean scenery. Thank you for letting me ride along each week. Winter here in California (USA) has been dark and gloomy and riding along has made it so much more enjoyable. Please save me a seat for next week and give all the fur kids a scratch behind the ears. Hugs and best wishes to all ... Gramma Lainee ... may we know peace in our lifetime.
I was wondering how you were able to fly the drone whilst driving the van…then I remembered your co-pilot Bonny. Tell her she did an amazing job 🤩 Can‘t wait to see you all high up on the mountains! 😊🚐🏴☠️
I really enjoyed your trip down the Eastern side of Spain. The Spanish police are quite proactive and unless you can speak Spanish it can be quite alarming being held by the fuzz. 😂 That's a huge water pipe you have acquired. By the way, don't ask a Spaniard if you can take his picture as it loosely translates to a man's thingy. 😅 Have fun, stay safe. ❤
Can't wait till your back on the boat love your vids I've binge watched them,I particularly loved the llangollen ones being Welsh, I am contemplating this life😊
It's amazing. You kept your cool despite the Police interferance. Scary as the laws in each country are all different. I noticed I was number 999 comment. Police not required thank you. Pirates and Guardian Angels must be looking after you. You got away! Where I live I used to work at a gas station & grocery store. Next door was a Biker Bar. I served Hells Angels and tattooed Pirates along with Bull Riding Rodeo Cowboys. All were and still are Guardian Angels now invisible but still active. It makes for interesting energies. Stay safe, enjoy the mountains and have a wonderful time. Lots of magic wafting your way me hearties, ❤ from Arizona. I am so loving your wonderful Spanish adventures Heidi & Sandra, what gorgeous scenery and wonderful generous and helpful people you are catching up with on your travels. I so look forward to my Friday mornings with you both, you are fulfilling my dream for me as I will now never be able to do the wonderful van-life trip you are doing, but I feel like I am now, in the company of two fabulous women and three beautiful dogies! Looking forward to next Friday.❤🦌❤️ x x x x
Tip for you heidi.. Remember when you used to have a rubber hose shower for the bath taps? They make perfect multi-fit connection for wierd shaped taps. Had one in my van for 25 years!
Just loving your trip with Sandra and her boys. And how lovely to visit friends of Sandra ! I got a little bit of chills when you were saying your goodbyes. Lovely hospitality ❤ Stay safe have fun and I can’t wait for your next video. ❤
Thanks Lovely Heidi and Bonny for taking us along on this fantastic Spanish adventure with Sandra and her lovely doggies. It's a shame that the police sent you all away just to take the ancient caravan off the site. It's really nice to see that you're going through places that I've been on holiday at over 20 odd years. Take care and all the best. Stevie
Great video again, as for the water all that is needed is a bucket and a bilge/stirrup pump connected to your hosepipe. Here's to having a cold Jamaican rum and coke with a sea view.😊
👍👌👏 Congratulations 🎉 for having a trip of a lifetime! Thanks a lot for making explaining recording editing uploading and sharing. Best regards luck and especially health to all 5 of you.
Hi you are in my neck of the woods. We live in a town called Albox just a bit in land from the coast. We sometimes go shopping in Garrucha which is just by your last park up . Hope you carry on having a wonderful time. 👍🏻😎👍🏻
Ahoy intrepid adventurers, another fab vid! Stunning scenery, a fabulous Muttley impression from Sandra 😂 and a great escape from the law! Brilliant! Hope Polly makes it up those mountain roads, looking forward to seeing those incredible views, stay safe 🏴☠️🌈💖
Hi there. We are motorhomers who live in the province of Cadiz. Obviously you are not aware that you cannot wild camp anywhere in Spain or Portugal now, only stay on authorised sites. You may find some local councils that have their own aires but wild camping in the country is a no, no. A lot of motorhomers have been fined and if you do not move when asked the Guardia Civil will confiscate your vehicle. Paul. Hope you continue to enjoy our lovely country.😁
If you get a funnel, or cut off the top of a bottle, you could stick the thin part in your hose, and hold it up to the public taps with the wide funnelly part. That would save splashing yourself too much.. could work..
Gracious Heidi great blog nice to see you and Sandra and bonnie and Sandra's family you will be amazed at the scenery when you travel into the mountains have a great adventure woohoo!!!😎🇬🇧👍
Seeing the road disruption in France and Spain I sincerely hope that you are not affected by the farmer actions, and that you manage to get home to Blighty safely.
Good old vans NON TURBO will benefit from the following .Semisynthetic engine oil with WYNNS engineoil treatment added ,and when running in high temperature's coolant mix should be 30% max not 40/50% as used in UK .Hope this helps to keep you safe . Having owned several M/H and lived for yrs in them i really enjoy your take on van life fun, laugh, and easy going thanks for sharing your journey

Thanks Ed but the bottles fill fine … it’s how to get the water into the vans that was the problem but the water can with extended hose now works perfectly 😃😃
