Hello to you all - we so enjoyed watching your visit to the fantastic Alhambra Palace, it brought back some very happy memories from our trip there in 2001. What an amazing place and we enjoyed the Tinto de Veranos too!! Another highlight for us (especially my husband) was our visit to Cordoba where we saw the most amazing flamenco show - it was tainted by the fact that when we returned to our hotel we were appalled by the news about the Twin Towers atrocity that was so tragic. Because of your travels it’s made us want to do the Granada/Cordoba/Seville route again ending up in a villa in Costa de la Luz. Thanks for your weekly adventures and already looking forward to next weeks. Love to you all❤❤❤

About those tiles and the planned imperfections, it is interesting to note that the Navaho weavers in the US who are famous for their beautiful wool blankets always do the same thing, interrupting their pattern just a bit to avoid perfection. I don’t know enough about their spiritual practices to know why that is.

My Mum has lived in the region for the past 20 years and we have visited the area multiple times including the cave houses in Guadix. We are now planning our next adventure.
