My first run was by far the best but shortest. I ran into another "fellow" player who acknowledge that I was right there, then she turned her back then I proceeded follower not too close while looking for loop I end up going to a small cabin while she what's behind me then she shut the door and somehow barricaded it then look through the window at me and just flick me off for 5 minutes turn up bleeding really bad but managed to get the door open. Haven't had a clear objective. Revenge. I tracked her down by following the dead zombies until I found her. I snuck as close as possible with my stick in hand and began our battle. I was losing badly but the noise attracted a zombie that she aggro and she finally started getting visibly damaged. As she fled I flicked her off as she was looking at me then she just fell. I was super slow and everything was grey. I tried looking for anything to heal me but fell over a minute later. I had my revenge then died with a smile

Right?! I just picked up Dayz yesterday on ps5 and the server selection isn’t the simplest thing to do. I assumed the first set of servers that pop up would be the best so I chose one with a decent amount of players but the lag was insane and I had the bad connection icon the whole time. Once I got killed I browsed the servers and realized I was in a EU server then chose a US server and it was much better. They need to show the ping next to the servers for console players
Awesome video! I'm coming back to DayZ after being away for a really long time and I needed to brush up on how to get started and learning the mechanics again. To put it into perspective on how long it's been, this was DayZ mod where you needed to buy the Arma 2 bundle with Operation Arrowhead before you could play. Nothing like good ole nostalgia.

Why is killing no mics a rule? I'm playing on a server with two other and we use xbox party chat. But using party chat makes it so other players can't hear us so they immediately just want to fight.
Right but you aren't in game chatting when others are talking to you. That annoys everyone. Plus like dago said you can't trust people with out a mic. Plus if you whisper in game to someone everyone else has to be with in 2m of you to hear you.
Well there isn’t a complete end goal. Your end goal can be building a base and stash your loot there, or you can PvP, find other survivors to team up with or start fresh. It’s quite up to you really how you decide your adventure. One thing for sure is, you never know what you can expect. You’ll have an insane adventure one time and the other times it’s a struggle
Aren't improvised foot wraps more quite than the shoes you spawn with?? And unless things changed since this video was put out, you can absolutely put gloves over bloody hands to negates the sickness from eating
Wait so you can spawn close to friends, but I can't figure out how to add my friend to the friends list on dayz. We just use that dang map and run forever and try to find each other before we die. Sending each other pics of the road signs. I would love to figure it out
I'm on PS5 and run smoothly so I will say since you're new on PS4 don't give up on the game, I've heard the PS4 version is all glitchy and lags. It's still worth it though and works it's self out. The game 🎯 a definitely hands on experience, the tutorial is a joke but once you learn the basics you'll have a blast and get better every hour you log into the game.
@@OfficialDJBrGI was worried about this because I literally just bought a PS5 a week ago and after playing pubg on PS5 vs PS4 I'm Blown Away with how crappy the PS4 version is with the frame rate and locked 30 frames per second it's horrible I feel so bad for anyone still playing on Old generation consoles I was wondering if this game was better on PS5 I think I'm going to get it now from this comment thank you
got 3000. hrs in the game but evry time i not played a bit and think ill play day zzzzz it always seems to have a problem that normally takes hours to sort out
A lot of dayZ servers run contaminated mods that's why I'll only ever play on vanilla. I tried playing on custom servers a few times over the years and each time I went into it not having a virus and came out with at least 2 trojans. To me it's just not worth it. And before anyone reads this and says "Nuh-uh! Th-there are no viruses in the mods for servers!" Yes, yes there are and I'd appreciate it if you didn't try talking to me.
100% still worth getting, a new DLC will be released tomrrow 15th of October, which will be Frostline, released to all platforms. You could also wait and add it to your wishlist whenever its on discount get it then.
Loved the video! I would really appreciate a follow up video or comment here about servers! I know there is an external launcher for mods and such, but what are the types of server out there? I don't get all the terms i see T.T, and i don't think role-plays are what i'm looking for if i have to fill a lot of papers to fake being a cop, i'd appreciate more of a Rust approch to the game!
The first 10 or 20 hours is going to be an annoying struggle. When you've got no brose with you to teach you what to do. Focus on just trying to figure one thing out at a time. Since the realism is much more than other games, try to think about where you'd find the loot you need. Making a campfire just needs some bark and small sticks, search police stations for early weapons and be careful when you see another player. Good luck, and GG.

i dont get the point of dayz dont have a map, as soon as we join a server we check the map with a mod our with the sites, impossible for players than dont have like 30k hourss to remember the map. Rust did much bether.
It’s a semi realistic survival game in real life you wouldn’t have a map appear above your head I love the game I ain’t got a clue where iam once I have food and amunition and I’m safe I couldn’t care less

Head more inland. First thing I like to do if noone is around is craft a fishing pole, hook and worm and catch a few fish. Hit one of the houses and cook them up. Fish go a LONG way. 2 fish will get you inland a good ways where you can find more and better loot. Just know when you head in there will be some people with a lot of gear so either avoid them all together or try to make friends. I wouldn't pick fights with anyone unless you for sure have the jump on them.
i bought this game with christmas money the shortly after the game came out, yet here i am having to learn from scratch with home much has changed, i stopped playing before there was differant hp huds and a god at dayz research was born @WOBO
