I'd be a little worried about there no longer being any header above the doorway. It's a very small building to begin with, but the door takes up so much of that wall that the eave line will be more likely to sag over time.
@@EverydayShed a six foot piece of 2" x 2" x 3/16" angled steel should stiffen that up. Put the inside corner at the top so the roof rests on it.. drill holes every foot or so to attach to the remaining header 2x4 and three for the roof... 👍
Excellent idea. I never thought of switching to a sliding door. It’s an easy change and provides better soundproofing as well as energy efficient.
