  • Alvin has always been known as the reckless, chaotic, and thrill-seeking member of his band. But when the situation calls for it, he has shown signs of being a reliable leader. Should future incarnations of Alvin lean more towards this aspect of his personality and character development? And would it leave a good impression on children who look up to him?

I think Alvin has a lot potential of becoming a good leader especially musically if he focuses well enough. Alvin as a kid is blinded by his own greed that he forgot why he wants to be successful (the music) and that's correct, Alvin gains wisdom through trial and error and he has raw talent musically.

Characters that I’ve seen resemblance in Alvin… We got Vert Wheeler (hot wheels battle force 5), Gumball Watterson, Vegeta (mostly at times egotistical but not full to the point he’s a monster as Simon one episode he mentioned), Mordecai and probably Sonic (the og one from old cartoons)… I don’t know if y’all guys can understand where I’m coming with this but to me, I can see them on him, should he be a leader? Absolutely, however as I saw the old tv shows and rewatching recently the cgi movies and the cartoon ones, he got some stuff to learn. I would love to see him lead the group someday

Imagine if there was a live action Alvin and the chipmunks tv series that would be cool

I LOVE Alvin he’s one of my favs, i was literally just talking about this on my Evolution of Alvin video, how they have to make Alvin more mature and grow up with the older audiences more and i think the 2015 show misses that, but with the live action movies i can highly agree that he does have leadership quality typically in chipwrecked where he took charge that was on of the highlights for me, and also i felt like he had redeemable qualities in him through road chip as well as of chipwrecked, so there is something there. But i don’t understand why they wouldn’t utilise that in the 2015 show, they’ve kinda gone backwards and just erasing what they’ve brought to him.
Like i said i think they’ve done Alvin really POORLY in the 2015 show, and i really LOVE to see him get redeem for it. I always thought that Alvin and Brittany when there in a group session i feel like Alvin is still in charge but also Brittany has the upper hand of it, as well with what you said about her and sisters you know she takes charge, but Alvin takes charge of his brothers and the whole group and i would really love to see them leadership skills as in like work together in a group instead of arguing with each other but she is kinda like the secondary to Alvin’s leadership and i think it’s good to have a balance of both rule breaking but also be responsible for it.

Even though Alvin is my least favorite of the chipmunks because he often acts like a jerkass (ESPECIALLY in Chipwrecked), he was a lot more likeable in the 2nd half of Chipwrecked. I liked seeing Alvin step up and be responsible. Initially, Simon was the leader of the group. He was the one who suggested finding food in the jungle and building a shelter. Of course, this mentality goes out the window when he turns into Simone. Now Alvin has to be the one who watches out for the chipmunks and build the shetler. I think this side of Alvin wasn't explored that much in the CGI movies (outside of Chipwrecked), but I noticed that Alvin took charge a lot in Road Chip. Also, a side note, but I thought it was kind of satisfying that Simone annoyed Alvin and basically gave him a taste of his own medicine. Granted, this could be because I thought the Simone plot was really interesting. I'm actually in the process of a story similar to Chipwrecked in which one of the characters also gets bitten by a spider and thinks she's a French-Australian adventurer, and her older sister now has to take charge and be the leader.

I think Alvin is a great leader when he needs to be. The first time I noticed shades of him being a good leader was actually the first time they got washed up on the island, when he and Simon coordinate the rest of the group. Simon, obviously, to find food on the island and Alvin to keep everyone calm by singing campfire songs and making an S.O.S sign out of rocks, and reassuring everyone that they will be okay. However, when Simon (Simone in this case) regresses into Alvin due to the spider bite, Alvin really steps up and becomes responsible because he knows that it's something he must do to keep everyone safe and to get out of the island safely. HE and Brittany become responsible by choosing to build shelters for everyone while they are on the island. I'm also glad that when Dave and Ian showed up, Dave allowed Alvin to take charge because he, remembering what Simon told him at the start, gave Alvin the full trust and as a result, Alvin did indeed rise to the occasion. This is a defining moment for Alvin and he's definitely a good leader when he thinks things through. In The Road Chip, Alvin learns lessons through trial and error and not wanting to disappoint Dave and Samantha. So, in the end, he figures out how to patch things up with Dave. And actually, looking back, Alvin does have leadership qualities in The Squeakquel, when he learns not to be selfish all the time and makes up with Simon and Theodore at the zoo, after the Eagle Fiasco. In the end, Alvin coordinates the Chipettes to protect them from Ian and brings them to the School Concert on time. Alvin, in the live-action films, can be a good leader when he puts his mind to it and that's how he grows as a character. But, then Alvin in the CGI series, learn valuable lessons, but is still kind of a selfish jerk all the time.

    Very Good Video (Very informative)
My Opinion (Alvin would be a very good leader and definitely has qualities [Mainly in the 60’s & Live Action Movies {which by the way are my personal very era’s of the Chipmunks}])
In the Alvin shows the three of them all same to be the leader in center ways and episodes (I.e Theodore in Theodore’s Dog & Simon in Eagle Music) but Alvin being the title character of that show, always seem to lead the pack most of the time and even sometimes they team up with Dave like in the Neighbor Episode and in the episode when they go camping Alvin Saves His brother and Dave from a bandit)
In the Live Action Movies each film points to Alvin being a good leader
The 1st Film Alvin is the one who stops singing first in the how we roll scene and convinces Theodore & Simon to stop singing too
In the Squeakule He’s the one that comes up with the plan to save the Chipettes even telling Simon to tell Jeanette how to pick the lock
Chipwercked and Road Chip both have tons of Advice (that you mentioned in this video)
And in my AU Alvin is mostly the leader (despite being the Youngest) but they all have leader qualities (Simon the brain and speed, Theodore the brawn & Alvin the ideas guy)
    Once Again very good video
    P.s
You do you think is a better second in command of the Chipmunks Theodore or Simon?

For your PS question, Simon is smarter but tends to question Alvin’s decisions more often. Theo usually follows Alvin more (for better or worse) but sometimes needs to grow confidence before he takes a big challenge.
If we’re adding The Chipettes though, any of them could probably make a good second in command. Especially Britt and Ellie.

I think this fanshine needs It's more character development than a cartoon that ends in an episode. In Season 5, they started to develop more character development yea, but it's only a little

I know the topic is all about Alvin but Theodore has gone through a lot, or at least to my knowledge he has. Especially since the Werewolf episode. He’s been a bit more braver. I mean seriously, in the live action the roadchip he runs INTO a lion shaped hole. And actually says “Open wide.” And in the cartoon version he mountain claims and surf’s without being tricked to. Growing up Theodore as been known for being the scaredy cat of the group. But now that’s just not true anymore.

Yes I definitely see it how he's changed over the years in each new iteration of him.

I think alvin is a good leader, although he can always be a bit too bossy and always getting him or everyone around him especially his brothers into trouble. Although his personality character is almost the same. He can also think he's responsibly but Simon, dave doubt him no matter how much rules he breaks! At the end he makes things right but gets karma he deserves! I started to realize in season 5 his character changes almost a lot but he acts quite more entitled, selfish and dramatic than usual

Have you ever thought of making an elaboration video on whether or not Alvin has ADHD?

    • @MilasMixMedia
      @MilasMixMedia 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

Um i don’t think he has ADHD but it did say something on the Wikipedia on that, i don’t know why though, although i tend to ignore what’s on the Alvin wiki cause half the stuff is not true, but i get where you are coming from, cause i saw the same thing.
