AATC Elaborations: What if the Alvin and The Chipmunks films continued?

- Given how 20th Century Fox changed in the years since the Alvin and The Chipmunks films ended, I seek to form a hypothesis of what might have happened if they tried to continue. And further explain the factors that prevented, or are preventing, a fifth Alvin and The Chipmunks film from happening.

It was in David Cross’s contract to be in three films, so it’s likely that the same applied to the other actors.

Hi, Granditamias. I really appreciate making you making your AATC videos. I do might as well have a suggestion for your videos. Maybe you should also start doing AATC Easter eggs in some of your vidoes as well.
What do you want me to do? Stick a Chipmunk Adventure hot air balloon or the year “1958” in the corner of the video? Why would I do that when A. it would take audiences out of the experience if they notice it, and B. be redundant because I already talk about easter eggs when they’re relevant to the topic?
Thanks for the reply, Granditamias. But I wouldn't want you to stick a Chipmunk Adventure hot air balloon nor the year 1958. What I meant was easter eggs from the CGI Movies that are referneces that could be from the comics, older AATC movies & TV shows, or even other movies.

As much as I would love to see one, I don't think we are going to get an AATC 5. Buuuut I would like to see them back in a feature length film with their new ALVINNN!!! look. I think that would be kinda cool.
I made a book, like a junior novel thing, when I was younger for a 5th CGI movie and it was called Lost in London. And I put Suggs in as the villain! So I have my 5th movie in my head lol.

@musa1555 me too but I doubt we will ever get one again now, Jason Lee has retired from acting, 20th Cent. Fox is now Disney (which Bagdasarian won't even touch) and most kids know them by the ALVINNN!!! now.
It's unknown if Alvin and the Chipmunks 2007 will get a fifth film.

This was kind of it. I’m not just going to arbitrarily make up a bunch of details of what I would want it to be like since there’s no evidence to go off of from the previous film(s). Y’know, the crux of my argument in this video.

Well, I know this will never happen, but in my mind, I imagined if “Alvin and the Chipmunks” got a live action TV series on something like Paramount+, given the 2015 cartoon was made under Nickelodeon (even though they themselves hated airing that show). I don’t know if it should be a soft reboot of the live action films, but if it does happen, I would assume Jason Lee would reprise his role as Dave, or if they wanted to go a direction and no follow up on the Fox films, Michael Bagdasarian (son of Ross Bagdasarian Jr., whose dad created the characters) could try portraying Dave in live action and maybe even voice Alvin and Simon.
Here’s the full David Cross story if you didn’t already know since it’s a bit more complex than what was said here. Cross primarily took the role of Ian Hawke because he had not worked for 6 months and needed work, so you could still say he did it for the money. However despite this, Cross has stated he does not regret working on the films since he has nothing against participating in entertainment meant for children. With Chipwrecked however, working on that film specifically is what he dislikes. This is because he was poorly treated by the producers and forced him to participate in events he didn’t need to be in since he had other projects to work on. So his consensus is that his experience working on the first two Alvin and the Chipmunks films were fine and working on Chipwrecked was awful. I’m going off of this with the reliable sources I have found.
I am crying right now because theres no aatc 5 its litterally my chilhood and gives me memories. Its so depressing

I never said it was impossible, but considering the lack of communication to the public by either Bagdasarian Productions or Disney on the subject matter, it’s extremely unlikely.

Is it possible that they make a movie with the characters of the Alvinnn! show? Should be interesting. And i hope that they release the conplete 80s series on dvd! Remastered, in english and german and if they must, change the songs! The storys are important for me!

If Alvin and the chipmunks 5 were to happen, I’d like to see agent Suggs in jail and uncle Harry being the new villain or seeing agent Suggs being homeless and teaming up with uncle Harry and working for him. Other characters that would be good for a 5th alvin and the chipmunks movie would be seeing klaus and Claudia as the main villains and seeing inspector Jamal and the Arabian prince as well. I would also like to see miss miller in the movie and see her adopt the chipettes. So the main villain for Alvin and the chipmunks 5 should either be uncle Harry or klaus and Claudia. And maybe the chipmunks and the chipettes can become singers/movie stars too. And what if we see Alvin have a live action human girlfriend named Vanessa in the 5th alvin and the chipmunks movie as well

I know there may not be a fifth movie but it would be a good number to end it on the series are great if they did do a fifth movie I would want a fifth but nothing more but if they did do it I would not want a sixth movie or more
what if alvin and the chipmunks 5 happened is that there will just be alot of yelling of Dave and the chipmunks will say sorry 😞 and they'll be upset and scared 😱 and they will be a trouble all day long and soo grounded for long time and very insing scary for Shor and the chipmunks will still be retired of singing for a long time ⌛ ⏲ and alvin will make it worse again make Dave say alviiiiiiiiiiin again
