this is a very old system we use in repairing mobile phone boards, runs off 24 volt isolated system , has very fast heater , accurate thermocouple, sleep time, ambient temperature calculation as well.

Neat little unit Andrew, now you have more soldering irons than planes.
They should sell them with a pair of 4X magnifying glasses for us old blokes though..

Looks good - they'd benefit from more sales if they supplied an Aus/NZ plug.

thanks a lot for showing the menu and to check the exposure that we can watch or see something.
I like it at lot but not sure if I need it cause I have already a full soldering station and the mobile pen style one you had shown before which works quite well and there fore no need for a bigger one cause more or less is built in the stick one. What I do like is the nice connector for the iron and the usabiliy, also the nice fitting case.
But as said before I have already this pencial style which I usually use with a small 230 V AC or 12V car Adapter but not with the xt60 connector.
I guess I would have bought this one if I had not pencil style already cause they have put it nicely put together in a box where I had later bought a bigger case for my AC power supply and the iron which do not fit so well together. This kind of station with menus has its advantages but I also would suggest to go for bigger digits and characters and display cause the older you get the harder it becomes to read and most of those who spend a lot money in the hobby are no longer the youngest and check these devices for how good the displays are readable. The menu here at 5:40 looks good but the general overview uses fonts that look a bt too small like the wanted temperature and voltage. Current temp is quite tall but a bit too small compared to the other font.
And I bet there are a lot in the hobby that have the same complaints - if not now then sooner or later cause sight does not really get better. I am also not sure if it makes sense to use so many different colours in the main menu and if it would not make more sense to show the temperature in white unless it gets over 50°C and then would switch to red instead to warn any that it is now getting really hot.
At the end I like it, would buy it, but would have to sell my mobile solder iron pencil first.

For anyone who didnt find how much Watt it has, since the homepage their own homepage doesn't state it: it seems like it's 70W.
