Yup...you guys wanted more gameplays so I'm moving them back here. Kratos is one tough guy, but with the Abyssion it's fair enough. I've also tried to attempt everyone's Mystic Arte in just this battle. Unfortunately, Karol gets beaten to a pulp.
idk how anyone can hate on symphonia, it definitely helped launch the tales series further and is still one of the best of the series. amazing story, good characters and got me hooked
I'm not even a Kratos fangirl, but I nearly squee'd when he used Shining Bind. And this game was my introduction to the Mystic Arte.
Yuri: 'Don't overdo it'
Kratos: 'Hey, that's my line...First Aid!'
Kratos is so badass, he owns you within the first couple strikes lol.
Kratos is awesome, it doesn't matter if he's your ally in symphonia or your enemy here. "Struggle against these holy chains. SHINING BIND!"
Kratos' angel wings are so beautiful in his Mystic Arte.
Just a bad ass name "Traitor to Heaven". I would give home my lunch money even if it was after lunch.
At the end of Symphonia he sorta took an entire sky-castle and went to take a bunch of evil artifacts out into space to make sure nobody screwed up and used them again. To put it simply and slightly less-than-spoilery.
You sort of talk to him in Symphonia 2 if you're careful, but I think its pre-recorded... and either way, Lloyd never gets to talk to him. Basically, he flew through space being a badass, then ended up in Vesperia... somehow. Or maybe he's just here for the sake of having a bonus

EXACTLY! YOU DO NOT JUST SAY "THIS IS DANGEROUS" BECAUSE THAT MAN IS MORE DANGEROUS THAN OVER HALF THE TALES CHARACTERS.
You're lucky Kratos didn't have his Flamberge equipped. It seems most crossover renditions of Kratos have him wielding a regular steel sword.

For those who don't know, Namco is making an HD release of Symphonia 1 and 2 for PS3. The best part, It's getting an English release in the States and in the PAL region :D
I was about to say, if in this battle Kratos wasn't beating the shit out of you, I'd have been disappointed, considering it's UNKNOWN mode.
I love it how every single Tales game has to make every boss Mystic Arte insanely powerful. Every hit from Shining Bind was 5000. We only have 9999 health :(
Tales has never really been about the loot, but about surpassing the awesome secret bosses.

More importantly the Legendary invite which allows you to tackle the 200 man melee.

@PyrusMaster001 1. labyrinth of memories, you have to do certain things before fighting alexei to unlock it. 2. synthesise as a key item at any fortunes market shop.
3. you need to set "special" in the skills menu. everyone but karol and repede get them from weapons and they get them from sidequests.
kratos owns with shining bind.. loved him in symphonia..still love him now

Doing only the main story ranges from 20-40 hours depending on how fast your going and how many monsters you face. With side quests included you can count it lasting up to 70+ hours in one play through.
Thanks, after watching it again, I realise I was wrong. His voice sounds MORE epic.

@SacredShadow100 yeah he was taking a coffe watching TV on quite calm noon at derris Kharlan, then Yuan called him by the cell phone and told him that the heroes from this Game needed to know what "Badass" really means!
However, Narikiri Dungeon X is worth looking into. Battle system is quite fast-paced, albeit broken at certain points.
Carol's burst didn't go as expected, pretty much bad luck with Kratos' overlimit.
Still a pretty damn good performance. Congratulations!

Kratos is best Seraphim. Hands down. If only he had used more spells and Judgement.

There is going to be a Symphonia 1 and 2 HD remake in the states and PAL version for PS3 and they are using the PS2 version so all characters will have their own mystic arte (even Kratos' Shining Bind)
Is Kratos still voiced by Cam Clarke in this battle? It was hard to tell at points.

There's an English patch that translates the menu. Artes, names, everything except for some descriptions and the tactics. Story, well I guess you could make sense of it. It's pretty simple to understand when you get further and have prior knowledge of playing Phantasia.

I suprise there's a boss who have over 2 million hp in tales series, never thought seen it, because the highest i ever seen high hp is on tales of grace 999999 chaos difficulty

I know, since I played all the way to the Valhalla war and stopped there because my old computer broke. That's why prior grinding always help! XD (quite hard since the SNES version is so stingy with the EXP)

Well, I don't have much problems against the boss in the castle, but that's the PS1 version. I think holding back the boss with Sword Rain would help (dunno what they translated for the SNES version)

Well, just follow the patch instructions that the web gives. Oh, remember that the story is not translated though and yeah, playing Phantasia first might help a little, but Narikiri Dungeon X comes with Phantasia X as well, a PSP port that's much better than the Full Voice Edition. Play that one because Rondoline is in there, so the story when you play NDX might make sense a bit more.
