The GeForce RTX 4080 12GB (285W) requires a 700W power supply while the GeForce RTX 4080 16GB (320W) will need a 750W unit" and that's without adding the power supply for the PC for everything else, this setup kills the elettric bill, i had to switch to a laptop for such reason
I think NVIDIA forgot that when advancing technology you're supposed to make it smaller and more efficient. These cards are insanely huge and just means for the 7090 it's gonna be the size of a room.

Yeah but in case of a computer you can’t just make a PC have the size of a small drawer and expect it to work really efficient. Maybe in like 10 years time it could be possible but for now, you can’t expect small things to work big. Like the Xbox and PS5 those got bigger to run better game

But at the same time 4080 and 4070 TI have overkill radiators which results in lowest possible heat and insane efficiency by consuming less than 300w at full load
The thing is the PCBs themselves ARE smaller, but their solution to power scaling is to just throw more and more wattage at the chip instead of improving efficiency so the coolers get disproportionately bigger.

You literally don't need a pc anywhere near this level. Settle for something more realistic, like a good 1440p build on 13 gen i5 and a future 4070. You will be able to do basically everything this monster can at 1/3 the cost.

Very clean build, looks stunning, congrats.
Only concern I have it's the part where the side fans are acting as exhaust, so that 360 rad isn't getting clean fresh air, instead it's getting warmed up air from the GPU (i saw what you did at the start btw, very based), which can make your fans work harder than necessary and may cause premature wear on the pump and fans, and also unnecessary noise.
Some solutions to these problems:
Make the side fans pull air to the case this will give you two benefits, 1 It will introduce fresh outside air into the system, which will cool your rad better than what's cooling now, 2 will make your case have a higher pressure than the outside (since 6 fans intake, 3 exhaust) which means no dust entering (from openings other than the fans) from any openings in the case (which you have in the current setup due to a lower pressure inside the case 3 fans intake, 6 exhaust), the other solution is to put the rad as a intake in the side, which will guarantee fresh air from the outside while keeping a higher pressure inside the case, while using the 3 fans as exhaust at the top) the plus of this configuration is that it will have a better cooling for the CPU if the airflow isn't obstructed as fresh air is the only thing in contact with the rad, the minus is that it doesn't looks as good as the first option, and any gains from it would be minimal, so personally I would go with the first solution.

My dad just finished building his new pc with a rtx 4090 and it is a monster, playing alot of games on max graphics with 250-500 fps x.x
I can not notice more than 40fps. I get 150 so when my PC broke I got a new one with 3050it play on max setting and limit fps to 60
I bet those fancy water cooler cost more than my entire PC build cost 🗿

I love seeing people be successful and enjoy gaming no matter the platform. I just really hope a few PC games come to PS5 hence, Blight Survival and Projekt Z.

The 4090 is so loud(coil whine) at near max load that I had to limit the performance to around 80% to be bearable. My dream PC would be something as quite as the Series X with this PC’s performance.

@@jeepsblackpowderandlights4305 1080ti is like the equivalent to an RTX 3060. You could totally push that thing another 3 years at least. I mean for god sakes, that thing could run Metro Exodus at max settings at a constant 60 FPS at 1080p(not sure about 1440 though).
@@wingsoficarus1139 A 1080ti is more or so equivalent to a 2070 than a 3060 to be honest, but with black powder's statement, I do believe with the power we've got now, a computer can last well over 5 years, let alone edge 10. I rolled with a 980ti before switching to a 3060ti for a bit!
@@Alterinno Dude I rolled with a hand-me-down Rx 460 4GB for the longest time and barely upgraded that thing a few months ago. I could play every top Indie game and even many AAA games at like low settings and it worked. That card wasn't even the best when it came out but it still held its worth. A top of the line card as good as the 4090 will totally last 10 years as the only thing giving it trouble even now is Metro Exodus at 8k resolution(which it still gets a perfect 60+ fps).

I mean 4090, you don’t need that much graphics card for like 2 years at least from now. Most of the game, you can run the game with 3000s even creating games don’t need that much. But it’s okay you will get 4000s one day, graphics card gets cheap easily after the release like another two different series.
