- Intel has launched their core i9 14900k 14th gen CPUs so we decided to grab an RTX STRIX 4090 and build the most powerful fastest gaming pc ever. This PC is fully water cooled and we ran some benchmarks to see how well the intel core i9 14900k performs.

Superbly awesome to watch! I built my PC back in 2016, and it's still running pretty strong with the i7-6700K and GTX 1080, but I'm thinking 2024 will finally be the year to upgrade again especially with all of huge upgrades in graphics performance and high demanding games lol. These newer cards are absolutely massive!
What's crazy is i still consider my pc to be fast. I can only imagine what this next pc will be like. Set for years. I also might wait until the 1400ks comes out to see any performance differences. Right now it will be the 14900kf

I absolutely loved this build.
You were one of my inspirations for designing and building my own PC desk mod after browsing through google images about 8 years ago. What I designed and built is nothing compared to the things you do but I am still purty proud of myself. If only I had the confidence to attempt custom liquid cooling.

Really enjoyable to watch! Does that distro plate actually attach to anything? Looked like in the video it was just sitting on the table in front of the PC. If so, curious how you pick it up and move the entire PC with it only being attached to the tubing. Looks really cool though!

Is 1200 watts enough when you have the same parts but 128 gbs ram and plan to light over clock ram and cpu?

wouldnt you want the rad tubes on the bottom so that you dont get an air pocket trapped at the top of the rad?

It seems they all get to TJmax at some point. The better the cooling, the longer that takes. When power is unlimited the motherboard feeds as many amps as the processor can handle.

Add ambient room temp when doing temps as it matters.
CPU Package Power 340W. Oof. May be room for some content on getting more speed with less power through power limiting and voltage reduction.

you would find some used maybe brand new but overpriced. i dont understand why he used this motherboard, new rog motherboards for intel 14th gen are comming up soon.
@@entertainyou2851 thanks - yea I did find the used ones but ridiculously priced. I think it’s an exceptional board tbh and I don’t think the newer boards will be any better because the form factor remains the same so the chipset won’t change either.

Yes but at very low rate like 3-5fps if i am not wrong.

nah, all u just need to do is use fast ram, disable the e-cores and run at 6Ghz all core oc and even the 7800x3d will fall behind.

iv just done mine and its so good it feels like the thing isnt even working very hard so quite so smooth i have the 13900ks tho which is still better than the new 14, however alan wake 2 wont work still lol the games broken as anything. i have thewhite oc version acer predator 1200 /wat rog

Amazing build. Was hoping to start 2024 off strong but ran into PC trouble and found out my outlet that my pc was plugged into fried my computer "literally". Have no money to replace it right now but waiting for taxes who knows might have some money there to get another.

What is your BIOS configuration for the CPU? 37k on Cinebench R23 screams default power limits. If you lift them you can get 40k R23 score with an AIO and over 40K with an external radiator

Insane build! but why only 2 ram sticks?
cpu is dual channel of ram and imc on cpu so add more stick of ram add more 🔥 to cpu. xmp alone get cpu even hotter. hence limit cpu freq boost when if fully utilize like benchmark. if cpu has more channel of ram like quad it require 4 stick to take advantage of its bandwidth of imc.

Beats it in price per fps yes. But 14900k is about 20% faster than the 7800X3D in most games. So yeah.. if you got the money why not.
