Good to see that the Mirage gets some updates! Can't fly it very well (which is true for most other modules) but it is one of the most beautiful aircraft designs.
Proposal for Sunday Funday: 1 vs 1 Dogfights, guns only, but for the sake of time all pairs start in the air at separate locations and fight at the same time. Winners proceed to the next round.
Though I am not sure if it is possible to create 25 pairs in the mission editor that would allow the opponents to select whatever aircraft they want / do have in their hangar.

Right... did not think about that. No idea. Maybe you could do your fights ahead and then you would have to jump quite a bit between the remaining pairs. After the first rounds there would be fewer and fewer pairs to watch. And more and more spectators 😎. Not sure if that would work. Maybe 2 vs 2 to have fewer groups?
Anyway, thanks for all the videos. For sure they get people into DCS..

Hi, i dont know why, but in here, toggle sunvisor and vtb repeater, but it just sits on the right hand side and does not move withmy head!
so radar will scan automatically in the looking direction of a pilot or you can just see radar screen in the helmet while flying?
You can just see the radar screen while flying. I think this also kind of a cheat, as far as I know the real Mirage doesn't have anything like this, just some thing to help stay heads up while flying.
The real Mirage also does not have an F5 button, nor do any other real life aircrafts. Well, maybe the F-35 does 😎
There is a way to make it transparent instead of black vtb background?

You should check out the hydro- pneumatic shocks of the old Citroën. The car is low when you get in, then elevates when u turn the key!
@@fazole The microchip on credit cards is also a French invention in the early 80s. But the magnetic strip on the back is an IBM invention and the US didn't want to adopt the chip until 2015. USA #1 and all the BS. 😉

I think it's more about the cost of switching over and requiring all the small businesses to get chip readers. The US had credit cards long before Europe and thus had a huge legacy system in place. US was also very late to adopt GSM mobile system because of legacy CDMA cellular system.
Have you seen the FAMAS rifle? It's pretty ingenious for its time.

Perhaps this is part of the MLO the French airforce installed, however I've never heard of this ever used on a Mirage.

Real. Late model Mirages and Indian AF have it. Called Topsight. Also integrates with the MICA.

Hello guys, anyone know how to make the radar transparent as the video ? Mine is displayed on a dark screen as the normal radar.
Its not new! im flying with this since i got mirage which is about a year now.The new thing in Mirage is radar memory.

@@StartX35 when you lose contact on radar it shows it last position and where it was heading in yellow and you can even add your own contacts

It is NOT an HMD! It’s a viewport export for people without head tracking…
Unfortunatly it does not seem to work in VR. The repeter screen stays fixed to the right of the windscreen.

@@thebrain7441 F5 is a great and easy to fly Jet, perfect for starting with high fidelity Modules, of course it can't compare to anything more Modern, and Air to Air is very limited to "Knife fights" with 2 Sidewinder and Cannons, but it can load a lot ground fun Ordnance, even it's a bit tricky to land hits perfectly.
I enjoy flying it from time to time, it's a bit like a Supersonic budget A10
and even more important: It's the MIG-28 ✌️

Actually it's great in VR, I see the projected image only with my right eye like in real jet.
Remember, they want you to pay money for things like this. Knowledge that have been around for over a year.
Some of us did not know, some other forgot. So the video still makes sense for some people.
What is more worrying is that some guys still do not understand (or pretend they do not understand) why some people are happy to pay for some private lessons.
For sure it is not because people cannot use Google to find the free stuff. For sure it is not because they are less smart than you. I am pretty sure the guys who book a session know what they can expect.
Recently I participated in a group F-16 landing pattern training. If I would have done the training offline I could have done many more landings in the same time. But it was much more fun to do this exercise in a group. I think at one point the instructor provided wrong information but I also learned some stuff that I did not know before. It was very enjoyable. And free.
