They say 'families win championships, players earn contracts' when you get a team playing like family. That's how they win. That's how Trotz had them playing and that's what Carbs is doing.
Chris Patrick has been groomed to be GM for a long time. He worked his way up from a scout. Not only has he been groomed to be GM, he's been groomed to be a GM for this Capitals team in particular. He's not gonna want to embarrass his father or his family. And when you go to a business doesn't it make you feel better when they say its 'family owned'? I prefer to support the mom and pop shops because they actually care. I think the same can be applied here. Let's give the guy a chance before we start throwing stones. Let's go Caps
