My overlocker went in for service a month ago and I still have no date for its return. It needs a new part that's on backorder, yet it's only 2 years old :-( I had planned a few projects that I didn't need the overlocker for, plus I worked my way through my small mending pile, but I soon ran out and needed my overlocker. If I can't sew my mood soon dips drastically, so I bought another overlocker last week. I feel a bit guilty, but needs must!

Was just making a tee in very pretty fabric. Managed to cut two fronts. In woven, I would have stopped and ordered another half meter to cut a new back. But I decided I might get away with a knit. It's definitely a bodge job and I had to unpick overlooked stitches more than once, but I couldn't let it go and pushed through and it's OK, as long as you don't look too hard. Happily it's a beautiful busy print. Take care. xx

Hi Cara! It's Sunday evening for me. My husband and I are just getting back from a quick date night trip to Niagara Falls. We stayed on the Canadian side and got to experience the falls being bathed in the colors of both country's flags, as well as, a wonderful fireworks show. After all the worry, hospital, etc, (you know the story) we needed to step away for a moment to allow our souls and brains to relax. Hi sue, that’s a great question, I am a completer finisher so I always finish what I start, when I brought the fabric recently I had in mind the patterns and to coordinate it all, I do normally have a plan, it’s nice to be coordinated ❤️
Red is my favourite colour, the items are all great but I think the top you are wearing needs shortening above the armhole, the v is too low and the underarms look rather low
