Tbh.... I would suggest reading the ARP Manga. The manga has a better lore and a wider variety of FOG ships of different nations such as the American Carrier Lexington, British Battlecruiser Repulse, and for some chapters, Bismarck

Those arent force fields, they are much stronger: they are plot device fields and immune to the power of reality, logic and reason ... and they are particularly cheap at only $14,99 because the script writer couldnt be bothered to come up with something creative.

Not really the same as Girls Und Panzers. Rather, this Anime is about Humanity being restricted by the Fog in every ways possible: Maritime travels, Air travels, and communications. Humanity tried to fight back against the Fog, as they are called due to their nature which is explained in the fandom, but failed miserably due to their limited tactics and weapons. Of course I would recommend reading the Manga since it has better plot line than the Anime Version. And the best part is, the Manga version is still going on
It started with a casual battle between ships and ended with ships flying and literally turning into cannons that don't obey any laws of physics. Not that I'm complaining
Ark Performance kinda made a mistake in what Burkes were the first to be hit by Melvin. DDG-116, Thomas Hudner (Not Gridley/Wayne E. Meyer) was the first to be hit and sunk, then either ships I mentioned at the parentheses and then USS Kidd sunk when she took too much damage after the VW explosion, which means Spruance (DDG-111) was the only survivor of the DDGs that participated in the test of the new VW.

Ark Performance kinda made a mistake in what Burkes were the first to be hit by Melvin. DDG-116, Thomas Hudner (Not Gridley/Wayne E. Meyer) was the first to be hit and sunk, then either ships I mentioned at the parentheses and then USS Kidd sunk when she took too much damage after the VW explosion, which means Spruance (DDG-111) was the only survivor of the DDGs that participated in the test of the new VW.

Are there any crew on those ship's? Why does the yamato class have gold gun barrels? why is, I'm assuming the admiral, commanding from the range finder? Wtf is going on in general? And how is there enough land in the country of Columbia to provide enough cocaine to supply the animators of this ?

The first scene's fog ship looks like a Fletcher! So US WW2 ships are also with the fog?
Each country has to contend with their own Fog fleet based off their respective WWII navies. The Lexington and the Bismarck make appearances in the manga, for example.
