Rapidograph is still around... So cool In the early 70's I used the .13 nib (smallest available) to make my crib sheets for tests in high school LoL I always loved how awesome they wrote, truly a superb pen for ultra-fine writing. Great pen (even if I didn't use it in high school as intended LoL)
I spent more time cleaning the Koh-I-Noor than drawing with it.....To everyone out there trying technical pens I urge you to try the Rotring you dont have to clean them ever and you get the same line quality!!
@forgivethehated Rapidographs are the classic archetypal 'technical pen', though I think in the manga industry they've been supplanted by disposable alternatives like Sakura's Pigma Micron pens for the most part. Nevertheless they are instruments of exquisite craftsmanship. Like any technical pen, they don't fit every application; due to their constant line width they aren't favored for inking characters, but are perfect for lettering, dialogue balloons, mechanical drawing, and panel lines.
@BlickVideos I will look into your suggestions. I will also email for further assistance. Thank you so much for taking the time to reply. Have a good day =]
@tslodtslod This is a tricky question because it really comes down to personal preference. Both pencils are artist quality with lots of pigment and smooth laydown. Prismacolor are a leading brand favored by many artists. Blick brand are a great quality at a value price. You can't go wrong either way!
@forgivethehated Hi! Manga and anime artists use all sorts of pens. The Koh-I-Noor are great if you are looking for a technical pen with a metal tip. These pens must be refilled with ink and cleaned occassionally. There are many felt tip pens available as well. It is best to email the Blick Product Information team to get information and assistance to find the right product for your needs. Email them at: info@ dickblick. com. Thanks!
United States, huh? I was under a strong impression that Koh-I-Noor was a Czech company. Always made the best stuff you could possibly get in the Soviet Union.
@AceCorona I don't know what the standard is but i'd store them point up. you'll probably have to re-prime them when you use them (shake them) but i've stored them point down and horizontal and been rewarded with a cap full of ink.
It appears that Koh-I-Noor USA carries a few series of Rotring pens, the Artpen, the Rapidoliner, and Rapidograph - not sure why, whether they are merely a reseller or might be the actual contract manufacturer for these. The Koh-I-Noor company in the Czech Republic, the parent company, however does not list any Rapidograph pens of either brand on their website or in their store. Rotring pens are easily available locally in Europe, but the Koh-I-Noor availability is terrible, through US importers only.
I love how he was saying, nice precise lines but at the same time drawing a very, very, squiggly line.
He was staring at the wall for seven hours before you showed up.
THAT CHAIR TURN THO
had to watch it a couple of times
@forgivethehated Thanks for watching the videos and for your questions!

You should do some videos on how to use them.

just wanted to know what is better? blick colored pencils or prismacolor colored pencils? christmas gift idea. please someone answer
ahaaha the intro!!
Hey. Use Faber Castell or Sakura Pigma Micron pens. The best ones!
I bought one of these, the 0.13, and when I draw with it it absolutely rips up the paper in my sketchbooks.
It takes a very light touch. Practice and you'll get it. You may also need better paper.
Does anyone know any videos or tuts for the techniques used on the drawing paper shown?
Is this pen good for drawing manga/anime? If not... what is the best to use for manga drawings?
