  • During the early hours of Wednesday 13 November, Pacific National conducted a haulage test of its new 94 Class locomotives. PN's 5132 containerised cotton train departed Wee Waa on Tuesday 12 November, led by locomotives 8208, 8236 and 8220, with the train arriving in Broadmeadow yard not long after 21:00 that night. There they were met by new UGL/GEVO locomotive 9403 and 9402, which were placed on the front of the train, while the three 82s were placed off line. Departing around 23:45, 5132 headed south and then attacked the climb up Cowan Bank, keenly observed by staff both on the train and trackside, before reaching Cowan Station at 01:41 on the Wednesday morning.
