- COVID-19 means that many of us are staying at home and sitting down more than we usually do. This Mi Walking Pad R1 Pro is suitable for doing exercise at home. It is portable and requires less space to store.
We bought the walking pad at Gateway Mall, Quezon City, Philippines.
Mi Walking Pad R1 Pro is at SRP 23,990.
Mi Walking Pad A1 is at SRP 19,900.
The difference between the two are the safety hand rail and maximum speed.

I like the idea of a very compact treadmill but does it need the app to work or can it be used without it? I read comments that it requires the app to go faster and the app has a lot of problems. Some have trouble logging in/connecting or get logged out/disconnected making the treadmill useless. Does anyone have problems with the app as well?
Hello Vanessa! No, it doesn't need the app to work. It has remote control and you can max the speed at 10km/h. 10km/h is really fast, I only use up to 7km/hr. App, I think automatically adjust according to you pacing and has calories burned count,too. But we do not have the app in our country yet.

Hello! There is little to no noise on the walking level. On running however you can hear the belt running and the stomp of your feet but it will not bother neighbors nor a sleeping child :)
How noisy is the machine when on walking mode and on running mode? Because a reviewer said the R1 is noisier than the other model but only showed the noise level while running on the R1 (the other model maxed out at walking speed). Just want to know if the noise at walking speed is the same as the other models.
Hello! For R1 Pro - there is a creaking sound on walking mode when you are in the forward part of the machine but when you position yourself and walk in the middle, there is no noise. For running mode, you can only hear the belt and the stomp of your feet.. 💕

Hello Ket! My unit is still in good condition.. using it twice to thrice a week.. You may want to ask the store you will be buying the unit with 50HZ if you need any adapter to use here in the Philippines.. 😃

I thought setting up is very simple. But you need 2 people to do it. :)

Hi ROCKETMOM, would you test the 2.5 and 3.0 km/h settings? Because I have a Kingsmith R1 Pro walking pad too but on mine these above mentioned settings are producing exactly the same speed.
When I switch up from 2.0 to 2.5 the pad speeds up to 3.0 though it displays 2.5 km.. and when I switch up from 2.5 to 3.0 km the speed doesn't change only the displayed value is changing to 3.0 km. Very frustrating...
I'm curious whether I'm the only one who bought a buggy one or it is an R1 Pro related issue?...

Hello! Same observation as you. I can feel the difference between 2 and 2.5. I can hardly feel the speed difference between 2.5 and 3.0.
So it seems like your walking pad has the same issue as mine. It must be a firmware bug. Maybe the developers corrected it later but I suspect there are many devices have been sold with this error. ☹️
I got the device this month and there is no problem, luckily there is a difference in speed between speed 2.5 and speed 3
