We have been watching Itchy Boots. Noraly is amazing, she is riding solo on her motorbike in Iraq at the moment, but she has been on many different adventures. She just gets on her bike and goes. Such a brave lady. Not sure if you are interested in motorbike journeys but might be worth a look.
second this although i'm not liking this new series much prefered South America and south Africa. I was hoping for Australia but i think because she used to live and work there she doesn't want to tour it.
I bought the delta 2 max after watching your video Black Friday sale got a free solar panel and even more money off using your discount code money saved probably buy a river 2 aswell thanks for the heads up brilliant videos keep em coming
Great review, we bought an Auto-sleeper campervan 5 years ago and love it. High-quality, car like to drive and with a full size cooker and loo/shower room great for even longer trips. It can be parked in most town centres and can cruise at 70mph all day. We previously had a caravans and sold our large tow car and bought a smaller one and I use the campervan as a second car.
Hi my friend, hope you are well. We have a campervan like yours but no one talks about the problem(s). We have a problem with the non-return valve for the LPG filling point. No on in UK is interested to fix them - well I have found a garage which are going to change everything since ours was made in 2012. The manufacturer recommendation is to change the system every 10-12 years and so that is what I have decided to do. However, this is a big problem in UK that not many people are willing to fix LPG problems on campervans (motorhomes?). Next time I buy all electric!!!!!
Love your posts Darren. You are genuine, you’re funny, engaging, kind, knowledgeable, experienced and you get as excited about stepping into a new van as I would. You’re the only van-life TH-camr I can watch regularly. Can’t stand the other soap operas. Like others have suggested, I would try a couple of different layouts if you were thinking of going long term in the panel campervan
You can get 300ah battery (3x more power) 2000w inverter and DC-DC charger for the same money as the ecoflow yes its portable but your paying a hefty premium for that
I use an Ecoflow Delta Max 2 with the alternator charger as I do 2 week trips maximum. When I'm not away in the van I take it in my house and use the Powerstream and charge it up overnight on the cheap rate and then discharge it during the day to reduce my electricity bill!
@neilmick6778 mate that’s perfect and exactly what I talk about when people ask about getting a full system or not. The powerbanks are perfect for a week or two at a time 👍🏻😊
It's brilliant how you cheer people up. It's the first time i've seen a kitchen at the back of a camper although i've seen old caravans with a similar layout. Keep the van well ventilated when cooking to avoid damp. Looks great and really happy for you 🙂
I love that layout- when you step inside these vans with the front lounge they feel really spacious compared to other van conversions, and that's a massive plus for me personally. Down side is that I think they lose a bit on storage space, which is a problem for a full time living. Also if you're over five foot ten, the bed is a bit too short lengthways and you have to make up the transverse bed, which is a right pain if you just want a half hour siesta. The other problem is very few people convert vans to this layout, so there's not as much choice on the used market.
I live full time in my Sprinter LWB and also have a Delta 2, fab bit of kit. Charges up from the cigarette lighter socket when I move around and then used to power my laptop and heat the leccy blanket in the eve even though I have 200amp of lithium installed.
The van looked great. We have a camper for the reason of parking. Loving Ali lives well on less, By the Curb, Northerners on Tour, John and Mandy (Gadget John and unadventurous Mandy sub channels) JP Lameroux amongst others on TH-cam.
HAPPY NEW YEAR. Mate you cheer me up. Love love love watching you. ❤❤. Seen a few fit outs and must say this layout ,I'm not keen on. But enjoy watching you. ❤❤❤.
great video mate, can definitely see the appeal of being able to fit on a normal parking space. That bed looked super easy to make up!!! Can't wait to see the micro camper
You should try out a boat, cabin cruiser or narrow I think you'd benefit the waterways with your positive attitude, think it would give you that freedom you need and, I think you'd absolutely love it.
John and Mandy campervibe and roaming radfords mostly . Motorhome man for ideas of what we want . Upgrading from a transit custom camper. Way too small but fun.
Darren, another great vid. I've got an EcoFlow Delta 2 with the extra battery. I connect to my 240 circuit with a short lead with a 13 amp plug at each end. Be careful which end you plug in first, but it beats putting a long lead out through the door.
That would make a great vlog a weekend off grid using the eco flow that will help people understand they can be off grid without having a setup light yours daz
Not a great layout to be fair. On the Boxer, Relay and Ducato you can have a full fixed bed across the back and have your kitchen near the front and you can have a swing out table. Something similar to Adz layout
Yeah I know the layout you mean, I will try that, as I’ve got a full fixed bed in my motorhome I wanted to test and experience something completely different
@ Keep up the good work. My Sunday morning breakfast wouldn’t be the same without a vlog. Hopefully you’ll be back off to Europe again this year, as they’re the ones that originally hooked me and I’ve since watched all the back catalog.👌
Awesome I’ve got the delta max 1600wh and I’m Excited to try plugging the roller team into it when we go away next week. Roll on sunshine too so I can test my new Anker 400w panels.
Welcome to the campervan fraternity, eventhough you only borrowed it, much cheaper to heat & easier to park. We have a Delta 2, we also have the Ecoflow 'Alternator Charger; which charges at 800w while driving (nearly flat to full in an hours driving) 😁

I'm watching this legend called Magicmerve on TH-cam. He plays a game called DayZ. But in all seriousness I've been revisiting old 90s kids TV shows. I can lose hours doing that.

We have a hi-roof transit custom camper (Only 5m long!) and can manage a month in it as a couple, but only if the weather is good so we can live outside! Also it's got limited headroom (5'10) and the bed is only 1.9*1.2m, so no good for taller people. Suits our use though, we can convert it to a 5 seater 'car' when required. Welcome to our size van 😂 (well bigger than ours). Daz has been watching 'The Ginger Fisherman' on TH-cam, which you may enjoy. He also does underwater drone shots in front of the bait. Think you may enjoy ✌️🙏💙
We downsized our A class motorhome for a campervan a few years ago because of parking issues, worst thing we ever done. The space inside is just not practical, making the bed up each night is a pain, so it’s a big let down just to park in a single space. Now back in a motorhome with front and rear lounges with drop down beds, and we park in 2 spaces if needs be
@Mymail-z1xMotorhome is not always the right choice, especially if being used as a daily use vehicle. I got a campervan instead of motorhome as using vehicle daily
@@davey8914 Well obviously your also adding that to other tasks, and it's certainly a factor many obviously don't like that's commented time and time again! Last thing when your tired is wishing to make a bed.
Another great video - many thanks. That looked like an AutoSleeper Symbol Plus you had and I have the smaller non plus which is a half a metre shorter and also an Ecoflow Delta 2. Hi Thankyou for your videos which have helped me a lot. Can you please tell me which power lithium batteries you had installed at Oaktree, and also is there any difference between their batteries and Fogstar batteries? Thankyou. Bryan
I wonder Darren is there any vans that have a pull down bed from the ceiling, like are in big motor homes BUT in the smaller vans you tested out? Grt video . 🤔🏴Jan
Re youtube, recently got hooked onto 'that chapter' true crime stories told by Mike an irishman. He manages to tell the stories respectfully but with added humour. I know that sounds strange, you got to watch it to understand
I’m watching old movies. I found a channel that has full old movies to watch. They don’t make them like they used to. The channel is called Cinema Coded I ❤it xx
Hi Daz Great upload I have a question which to many might be silly but I am looking into buying a camper van and wanted to ask when you said full off grid set up what did you mean. Thanks
Think you're channel is amazing you are so funny and just fabulous to watch. I dont normally comment, but I heard you say about a micro camper you more than welcome to use mine for one for your videos.....in fact be an honour
Considering all the net zero restrictions, as well as more and more councils putting prohibitive orders in place for overnight campervan and motorhoming, people are starting to look at the feasibility of this type of holidaying😢.
Watching anything to do with Narrowboats. Narrowboats and motorhomes, what more does one want out of life. Two fantastic ways to live.
Fixed bed all the way! It makes such a difference, especially if you live in full time. Any more videos trying different vans lined up?
The cheeriest guy on you tube for sure.
A couple of other channels I watch are Carnivore Quest and Carnivore Kipp.

Hi Ricky, my main camera is the DJI pocket 3 and then the Action 5 for the driving shots 👍🏻
Good video but looks like the van doesn’t have any road fund tax?
Hi Daz Great upload I have a question which to many might be silly but I am looking into buying a camper van and wanted to ask when you said full off grid set up what did you mean. Thanks
Watching Landman with Billy Bob Thornton at the moment.
you tube recommendation is “from bournemouth to Bulgaria”
By The Curb on TH-cam, great channel👌
Think you're channel is amazing you are so funny and just fabulous to watch.
I dont normally comment, but I heard you say about a micro camper you more than welcome to use mine for one for your videos.....in fact be an honour
Considering all the net zero restrictions, as well as more and more councils putting prohibitive orders in place for overnight campervan and motorhoming, people are starting to look at the feasibility of this type of holidaying😢.
