Crazy thing is because of his naivety in the first game he became more smarter though despite that he/she only became a worser version of Julius since he's experiences of "taking over the city" in the first game led to his ruthlessness in the 2nd game
True but he deserves to be the leader because after the last game during end game the crew ( besides Johnny ) either going rouge or didn't had the will power to fight . they bought that energy back
Playa took everything they learned and seen and utilized it. They kinda become Julius but still have heart. They don’t go after Troy cause Troy didn’t know and helped Playa stay alive and left breadcrumbs for Julius. Troy the reason they alive. Loyalty runs deep to the Playa

I always thought the saints was the perfect Gas Lighting situation. You start off seeing literally all the other gangs as the problem and the meeting grounds for the saints is a church. Plus you got Julius talking as if he’s preacher and making the saints seem like a resistance 😂 most kids under twenty growing up in that area wasn’t turning the saints down.

Playa was too gangsta. Almost like a movie hero. Big problem was also loyalty. In 2 Playa doesn’t do after Troy cause Troy kept him alive and helped behind scenes due to guilt.

Another reason why The Playa could've said what he did about the shoes was because of Tanya who mentioned it when he was disguised as her driver, but since you can do all of the missions in any order, it's just common knowledge that she has put of season shoes
2006 Saints Row is a nice cautionary tale to show you what it would be like to be in a actual gang, the Bloods & Crips do the exact same process of initiation in a way this game is very educational from a certain point of view.
The whole shoe collection thing is even more funny when you realize that the player got the information from Tanya by driving her around to find out that Lux wears last season shoes
Saints row is underrated the first one was the best one but the second one just has them beat by customization.

Man, I miss Saints Row and Saints Row 2. Part 3 was supposed to be better than both combined but they fucked the entire story up in part 3 and made that shit goofy. I pray one day another gaming company take saints row and recreate it, and give us what we wanted.

I unfortunately never had my own copy of the first original saints row game. Not even my own Xbox. I've always mainly, primarily played PlayStation. I still do. But I did get to play Xbox at work. I just hope a copy of saints row comes in so I can play it

In my G T A verse: I would make the playa a silent male hood protagonist. The playa naming by Julius was just him seeing a potential gang recruit within this playa. However though, unlike Claude from gta 3. The playa has strong naive loyalty to the third street saints. The only time the playa talks was when the playa took care of the final bosses of the rival gangs. Unfortunately this playa was a victim of a boat explosion. But unlike saints row 2 boss, the playa doesn’t survive the explosion.
I just realized the roller in the first cut scene has a ultor sigh on his hat be fore ultor was even a antagonist
