Along with Thomas Skinner, Joanna is one of the saddest firing I've seen on The Apprentice. Alan Sugar admires Joanna and he knows she has lots of potential! I respect Joanna she is a role model!
She wasn't that great tbh. Sure she came from a similar background as Lord Sugar but come on you can't give everything that sympathy card if they come up from a similar background as you

Still the best ever episode of the Apprentice. Baggs dismissal an absolute classic, and I admit to filling up when the lovely Joanna was fired. The pure relief on Chriss face when he made it to the final, coupled with Stellas joy. I wanted Stella to win, which of course she did, but what a tragedy that has happened to her at a later date. I am totally addicted to this programme
Stuart had a much better firing after Jenny's to be fair.
What happened with Stella later on must be the reason why he changed the prize from a job to a business partnership? Pretty sure this was the last series that the winner worked for him??

I love how Lord Alan Sugar smiles at Joanna when she was telling her peers that she always do well and in her CVS too👍👍👍👍

I think her tears were partly of pride to have someone like Lord Sugar praise her and the fact she got so far.
Lord Sugar even said "You're fired" in more of a disappointing tone as opposed to his regular rude tone.

It's a shame Joanna got fired, I liked her little speech here, it was very authentic and humble. She seemed like a class act and she spoke well, highlighting her strengths and weaknesses, that's the best way to convey yourself, authentically. It was sad to see her go, and her tears at the end were heartbreaking. I hope she had a successful career after this.

Not surprised Stella picked Joanna first she may not have the qualifications but she has great ideas and was the most improved candidate throughout the series
I love this show!
@lizclegg I liked Joanna she really grew on me especially after her argumentative start to the show she really got it all together and if memory serves correct Stella had enough sense to pick her first for the final task. Joanna though wasn't the full package and didn't have any research done about her potential employer which was a massive mistake and was probably one of the biggest factors as to why she got fired. Stella did get personal at the end but it was at the end & understandable.
This was the best apprentice ever!!

Joanne was fairly treated by Sugar, as with Stuart and Jamie : hope Stella and Chris were successful in their respective futures.
When I saw this series of the apprentice, I do believe that Liz should of gotten through to the interviews against cluade etc and rest his soul Stuart who passed away even though Lord sugar said he's full of shit x

I also believed Stuart buy we he did was lying into sir Allen's face and thought he was gonna get away with it. Liz must be mad at him.
Herr Baggs died young......shame for him......he might have eventually got a licence to be a comms provider in the Isle of Man.

In retrospect, Joanna went on the show a year too early. Had she gone on the following year, when the investment prize first came in, she'd probably have won without breaking a sweat.

@flamencoy all of them have high expectations, but some people have more pratice than theory she is one of them, Stu Baggs has zero qualifications, what makes you think he deserved the six figures more than her.She has a polished look, is polite and has a strong work ethnic.At 25 she has her own little company.Not bad.

@lizclegg I don't agree at all there were huge holes in Joanna's CV and business sense and yes she did extremely well and really impressed at times but at other times was a loose cannon and difficult to work with. Stella was smart, professional and hard working at all times and took absolutely no crap whatsoever. She didn't bring up her tough start in life over and over again and didn't fish for the sympathy vote because simply she never needed it. Liz was the only one who was fired wrongly.
Stella always seemed like a bit of a snakey character.
