Wow finally someone who showed the process from beginning to end. I have watched 10+ videos of others and no one ever showed the design process, weeding process, cutting process all together so I was lost until you :) Superb job, Thanks!
I have a sc2 cutter. I didn’t have a clue how to use it. Looking at Mat from Rhinestone World was the most informative video I have seen. I have a long way to go, but that was a great start!
I wish to start the business in my country soon and I will love to get more knowledge before I go ahead. I also will love to have a full price list of machines with work descriptions. Thanks for this video, I learnt a lot from it.

I have a vinyl cutter and two heat press, trying to start this as a side business but it seems as if I'm using the wrong vinyl, the vinyl I'm currently using don't last long when i wash the shirt. I will order some vinyl from you to see how that work out. great video!
i really enjoy the information on how to design your t-shirts. i can't wait until i start my business. Thank you so much for your wisdom, insight, and knowledge. May you and your family continue to be blessed.

I haven't started printing on any garments business yet. What is the best inexpensive vinyl cutter machine to buy? What do I need to get started? Can you please explain to me step 1, 2, 3 what I need to do? Your help is greatly appreciated
Hey Ted, The best inexpensive vinyl cutter machine to but GCC Expert 2 cutter. The supplies you need other than the cutter is a heat press, vinyl material, rhinestones and software. We do have business starter kits available on our website (therhinestoneworld.com/Main-Category/Starter-Kits/Subcategory-1/Business-Starter-Kits). - TRW Aaron
TheRhinestoneWorld Does the starter kits include the cutter? I was reading included items and was a lil vague except on supply list. Seems like some good deals though. Thanks for your time.
This video is very good and informative. Can we use any programme to create a design? For example, Photoshop? Additionally, could you make a video of you demonstrating how to make a simple design using your programme? If you already have a video, a link would be appreciated. Thanks
Alex, You can only use our software within CorelDRAW full graphics suite x6 or higher. Check out the link below! th-cam.com/video/9tB-hf9DYs0/w-d-xo.html TRW Alexis
That's awesome.. I"m currently trying to get into designing t-shirts... I'm in a social club and we already have a logo, my question is how can I make designs of one I already have to print on t-shirt
Hello! The cutter can be found here: therhinestoneworld.com/GCC-Expert-II And the press can be found here: therhinestoneworld.com/Red-Digital-Clam-Heat-Press - TRW Richard

Matt - you only did 6-8 seconds for the final press. Does that type of shirt only take 8-10 seconds? Love the video. I've learned a lot from watching your videos at TRW.
Amazing! Do you have to be treating one after another, even if you wanted to produce say, 50 pieces of such similar T-shirts, with a particular design?
If you go to their TH-cam channel you will see hundreds of videos. TRW makes videos several times each week. Great channel with great instructional videos.
We use the protective cover sheet down below! We do have a bigger one on our website as well. www.therhinestoneworld.com/Protective-Cover-Sheet-975-x-975_p_17856.html -TRW Mireya
Where can I find the heat transfer paper with the image I want on it already? Do I need to buy the printer myself or is there a store that will do it for you?
Hey Griffin, To have HTV that has been printed on (as opposed to cut as seen in the video), you would need to either purchase a Print and Cut machine or have someone print the design on a printable vinyl and cut it out for you. If you're looking for something like you see in here, where the vinyl is cut, you can either have someone send you a "vinyl transfer" or you can purchase a vinyl cutter and cut it yourself. Both options are available to you. TRW Nick
I've not done a design like this yet where I haven't needed the whole width like the ball player. Matt said he should have just cut the ballplayer out and saved material. How would he have done that?
I'd like to see how you do men's socks, both ankle length and calf length. Like what is the good part of the sock to use and how to get around those ribs they put in the socks elastic. Also, so we have to use Coral Draw to do all this stuff. I just bought the vinyl cutter outfit but have never done this before so that's why I'm asking. I have a ton of graphics on my PC and wanted to use those for this cutting and using on T-Shirts, is that doable?? Well keep up the good video's, there a good teaching tool for the newbie's. =0 }
+sthwestb Just like you had mentioned the ribs will make it difficult to get a good press and therefore we don't recommend pressing on anything Ribbed or Textured. In regard to your preexisting graphics you may need to convert the graphic to a vector if it is bitmap. TRW Casey
ALL my graphics are .jpg, does that make a difference? I didn't think I was going to get an answer because I've asked questions before but I went ahead and pressed some socks and they turned out real well... I just stuck a piece of cardboard in the socks to widen them and it worked. =0 )
Hi, I am interested in tshirt printing. I have zero knowledge about this stuff, by the way. For the vinyl printing, would you recommend corel draw or other editing software? I want to learn the most effective and efficient editing software I could use. Thanks.

Michelle, In this video, we are utilizing the Red Digital Clam Press and The GCC Expert 2. You can find both of those at the links below! The difference between a vinyl cutter and a printer is more or less the application and the materials that you use. With a vinyl cutter, you are cutting multiple different colors of vinyl and pressing all of them on. They do have vinyl that you can use a printer on and then heat press on to a garment, but we don't work with that at all. Typically printing will allow you to have more fine details and more color. www.therhinestoneworld.com/Red-Digital-Clam-Heat-Press www.therhinestoneworld.com/GCC-Expert-II TRW Alexis

do you need to have Coral Draw or Illustrator for the cutter to work or can you just create from the software provided. thanks
Can you recommend a less expensive program than Corel Draw? I'm trying to figure out how I'm going to afford all this.
Hello! You could try Silhouette Designer/Business Edition, but this will not be compatible with our TRW Design Wizard add-on.
TRW Alex
great video I enjoyed watching this 👍
I'm making a decorative canvas for a friend's wedding, would you recommend doing regular stick-on vinyl, or would iron-on work better?
I don't know that decal vinyl would stick on there well enough. I think your best bet would be to iron on some vinyl.
TRW Alexis
I've not done a design like this yet where I haven't needed the whole width like the ball player. Matt said he should have just cut the ballplayer out and saved material. How would he have done that?
ajp59759
I think that what he meant was he should have just cut the vinyl with scissors, instead of a whole square template, to save vinyl. Jenny@TRW
I'd like to see how you do men's socks, both ankle length and calf length. Like what is the good part of the sock to use and how to get around those ribs they put in the socks

Hey ! Thanks for the video, it helps a lot. On my instructions sheet it says...Temp : 320F // Time : 15-20 seconds. If it's only one color, is the time ok or should I stay to 10 seconds ? I got a 16'' x 20'' machine, can't wait to try it.

Hello! 15-20 seconds should be fine - TRW Richard.
Yes,I like this
I see people use small shirts for designs can I use a men's double Xl for example for this specific heat press or something bigger ? /And can I heat press hoodies with this ?
Alexus,
As long as your design fits on the plate of the heat press, you are good to press that design. As for the hoodie, that is fine to press, however you may need to adjust your pressure seeing that it is a thicker material.
TRW Kaitlin
do you have any glow in the fabric paint?
Im trying to start my own business in making t shirts for my church and other people in ga can you please tell me what kind of cutter you have and heat press you have and what's the difference between getting a vinyl cutter and regular print
Michelle,
In this video, we are utilizing the Red Digital Clam Press and The GCC Expert 2. You can find both of those at the links below! The difference between a vinyl cutter and a printer is more or less the application and the materials that you use. also, do you suggest using Teflon sheets to protect your shirt and images?
Hello! Yes, those can be found here: therhinestoneworld.com/Subcategory-1/Heat-Press-Accessories - TRW Richard
do you print on the shiny side up or dual side up?
If it's heat transfer vinyl, you will cut with the shiny side down, dull side up. If it's decal vinyl, you want to cut with the paper side down, color side up. :)
TRW Alexis
very new to all of this...can you use a laptop or does it have to be a regular computer?
Tiffany,
We see most of our customers with laptops.
Laptops are great if you travel and design otherwise a tower (regular Computer) would be adequate.
TRW Casey
if you want the design to have color do you have to use a different type paper like you did with the silver baseball guy or is it still the black paper you used ?
Michael,
The color of the design will be determined by the material that you cut.
TRW Casey
