This is the best video I´ve found about tech packs. I was first like I just send them the design and logo and tell them where to place it but now I understand that if I am so specific I can be, I will have a bigger chance for a better product. Thanks!

This is what most people don’t understand. You don’t just make a mock up and send it off unless you want a bad sample. You need to add every little detail as clear as possible. The more detailed and high quality you make your tech pack for your manufacturer the more they’ll appreciate it. You make their job easier and no one has to worry about being dissatisfied.
Damn I didn't know you do youtube now thats sick. I have your U.N. boxing tee and a gray sam box logo hoodie I got ~4 years ago? Glad to see you are still continuing to grow.
You just humbled me man. I’ve been on procreate and illustration just designing Thinking I’ll just send it off to the manufacturer and say tell them what fabric to use and gsm. And that’s it….nope

Hey man! you videos are super helpful and well made I have pretty much watched all of them in the past week and I am better for it! I ran over to your discord and asked a few questions to the boys over there for some of my projects. just wanted to give u my praise
I’m genuinely interested in it but, unfortunately, I’m currently unable to afford it due to some financial constraints. I completely understand if you’re not comfortable sharing, but if you’d be willing, I’d be extremely grateful for any help you can provide.
Thanks this was some very important info for me to be able to continue on. And also i really love how u explained everything and put it together great stuff👌🏼
GSM will be still the same because it is based literally on a cut-out circle from the fabric of a sample or from a fabric mill. this will be of a specific measurement (like 20/30cm diameter) and that is placed on a very precise scale. GSM of the same fabric can vary accordingly to washings and or treatments.

1:53 GSM = Gram per Square Metter. So it's basically the weight of 1m by 1m square of the fabric. So 1m by 1m square of XS and 1m by 1m square XXL hoodie of the same fabric will have the same weight.
Thank you for this. Can you make a similar one going into more detail on typical fabrics for various items of clothes, not just hoodies? Especially womens clothing? Thank you
Hey guys, if I plan to create cut & sewn t-shirts, can I give the manufacturers detailed measurements for just one size (like size M) and a basic measurements chart (like a size chart on a brand website) for the other sizes? Or do I need to provide detailed measurements for each size to ensure consistent proportions?
Yo my guy I said that last comment and just checked the site and the womens 69 mock ups sick!!!!! Thanks so much For any one reading this highly recommend these packs

The GSM of a fabric is calculated long before it becomes a garment, it refers to the weight of 1 square metre of the uncut fabric so whether that becomes an XS or an XXL is irrelevant
You helped me a lot with your video. Thank you🔥🔥 Can you tell me how to turn on the measurement grid in the design software? For example Adobe Illustrator
Hey Jake.. Loved the Video a whole lot❤.. Could you mind tho... I wanna know if you have like yk a measurement sheet for the clothing we could also purchase for some of us trying to find the appropriate measurements and all? Thanks
hey man! what would you say are some tips to create "complex clothing" without having too much going on and still maintaining a more minimal and plain overall aesthetic?
So if you order let’s say a small, medium, and large. Do you have to send 3 packs with different dimensions or do they make it to the same scale as the other sizes?
Thank you for the tutorial.I wanna start freelancing service. I am having a doubt. What information should I ask for from my client in order to make a perfect tech pack. Is he going to provide me with sample garment measurements, cost sheet, fabric Type, color code etc?
GREAT THANKYOU, IM ON YOUR SITE NOW BUT IM WONDERING IF THE PRODUCT YOU OFFERED NEAR THE END OF THE VID IS JUST MOCKUPS OR IS IT WITH THE TEMPLATES OF ALL THE TECHPACK FEATURES YOU SHOWED?
@@seaggs Thanks for replying I bought your mockups, they're great, I am currently doing A sizing chart for a client but can't find any comprehensive sizing charts for neck width, chest measurement, waist, body length, outer sleeve, inner sleeve e.t.c I specifically need MEDIUM to 2XL sizes, do you have a purchasable chart or a reference site for this please? this could break my commission

I've made my tech pack and all is good I just don't know what to send to my manufacturer because I have my logo on the shirt then just the first 2 letters on the shorts what do I do. Because I don't want him to blow it up and it be blurry. How do I save it?
Hi Seaggs! I love your videos! They’re super helpful. Do you think you can go over ways to market? Both organically and using ads? I’m a small brand owner, and it’s tough getting sales. Thankbyou!
Can I get your insight? I’m starting a clothing brand and I’m getting 30 blank Bella Canvas hoodies printed which I bought for $27 each and am suppling to the print company. I’m getting the whole design in screen puff print on the front (10 inches), back (10 inches), and sleeves (3.5 inches). Two colors total. One specially ordered color. Their charge is $120 for puff print additives, $120 for ink color, $112 for screen fees, and $22 per hoodie. So that’s $1,012 + the $810 I already spent on the hoodies. Essentially making each hoodie cost $60 just to be ready for sale. Seems like way too much especially since I’m supplying the garments. Does this seem right/normal to you? Do you have any advice on how I can lower this cost? I don’t want to have to sell my clothes for $120+
I’m genuinely interested in it but, unfortunately, I’m currently unable to afford it due to some financial constraints. I completely understand if you’re not comfortable sharing, but if you’d be willing, I’d be extremely grateful for any help you can provide.

The GSM is measured from a square meter cut of the fabric. As you said, the more fabric, the heavier. Thanks for the content👍
