This solo is so amazing, the way it creates an encouraging, inspirational feeling is amazing. Yet at the same time, it seems almost as if something sad as happened, like despair, or regret. Maybe it was meant to depict a resurrection after a sad event.
Exactly, it feels like someone is way past his breaking point and you think he's going to collapse, but then he stands and goes on. It is glorious, one of the best solos ever

I doubt Slash has ever played the original recording exact note for note and I enjoyed your extra "flourishes", which complemented it rather than ruined it which is often the case.
