Really enjoying my “armchair travels“ with you guys - taking notes for future Mexico itineraries, and I love how colorful it is everywhere! Growing up in Europe, my parents taught me to enjoy the local “flair” instead of just rushing around to see everything on a tourist checklist. So although you said 3 days are sufficient in Puebla, spending a few extra days just to relax and wander around is a great idea (if you have the time). Thank you for yet another fun and helpful video.

We agree with your parents. As a tourist, 3 days is enough time, but enjoying the moment takes a few extra. Thank you for watching and commenting!! 😊

I was planning to go to Oaxaca or Mexico in late March next year. Now you have my wheels spinning. I didn't realize from Oaxaca to Puebla to Mexico City was so close. I would have about a week and a half, so I might fly into Oaxaca and then fly out of Mexico City! Definitely something to think about!

The trying of the treats at breakfast with the small bottle: Carrie: "Do you want to try this?" Brian: Shrugs and looks at the camera with an "Of course" look. Then earlier on cookies Carrie: "It tastes like a Christmas sugar cookie". Brian with zero hesitation "I love sugar cookies!" Too funny. As always so very informative. You are so well connected and interact so well. We can all learn from you two being together. Thanks guys!

My spouse and I have visited Puebla twice. It is close enough to Mexico City that one can easily do an overnight (or more). You guys did a great job highlighting what makes the place so enticing. We didn’t stop there in our recent two months slow travel through Mexico and your video made me sentimentally smile in appreciation of the good times we have had there.

I love Puebla! It's an underappreciated gem (and the home of Cinco de Mayo). Those rolled tacos are Tacos al Arabe, originally influenced by the Middle East. I was there earlier this year (got Camotes for my grandkids) and plan to go back next year for a few months to work on my Spanish (there are a couple of excellent Spanish schools there). The climate there is generally nice year round and it's only a 2 hour bus ride from the Mexico City airport. Glad you got to go and appreciated the video.

Great video. I've lived in Mexico, Guatemala and Colombia over past 7 years. Take a look into visiiting the Sumidero Canyon outside of Tuxla, Gutierrez. It's the most amazing spot in the country. You can get cheap flights from Mexico CIty or Guadalajara with Viva. Stay in San Cristobol then Comitan. Visit "El Chilflon" outside of Comitan (one of the most beatiful waterfalls in the Americas). Slow pace it to Merida. Have a great time.
