You guys have been doing a great job capturing your travels over the years, but your Mexico vlogs have been stellar! Mexico is such a gem. I remember my first trip, back in the late 1950s before I was even school age. The grandparents would load up the car and drive there for a little get away. Vibrant colors, wonderful smells, great food, and friendly people. It's great that I have never lived far from Mexico and also live where Mexican culture is so strong. I need to get back to traveling there more as an adult. I've basically spent five decades traveling solo around the world, but sometimes one forgets that there are great treasures right under one's nose. Mexico is a huge country with a lot of diversity.
    Greetings from Los Angeles

YUM! My mouth was watering at that food market! And, I love how all the fruits and veggies are stocked up in perfect rows. The soups in the large kettles looked delicious. And so did the pastries at that bakery! Lovely town with its colorful buildings, some with murals. The people seemed really friendly. You got me sold on visiting here!

These small non-touristy places in Mexico may not be where you want to spend two weeks in, but they really do give you a taste of authentic Mexico. Over the years I have traveled throughout this country, my spouse and I recently spent April and May in colonial cities most people don’t visit. But we have never visited this place. We just have to go to that pastry place! There is always a reason to go back to Mexico. Thanks for this video.

San Andres Cholula is a wonderful place - enjoyed our visit in 2018 and went to all the places you saw in the video. They had a tourist train that ran from Puebla to there at that time which, sadly, ceased operating during the pandemic. Appreciated you highlighting it in this video.

I do love the pastry-cam at the 5:00 mark. This is a strong suit for you two, showing off a new place as you travel around as well as identifying the prices. Looks like a very walkable and quaint town. I have been to Mexico but mostly beach resorts and feel that more time is likely a good idea. Certainly the prices seem very reasonable and your weather ideal as we get into Fall in southern Ontario. Stay well. Cheers!

Years and years ago when you were still allowed to climb the huge pyramids outside of Mexico City (Teotihuacan), I was in my young twenties traveling with my Mom at the time. I climbed all the way to the top and when I came down from the top she was speaking with another American lady and I had a Tecate Beer in my hand.........There was a man who I guess climb to the top everyday with a cooler of beers to sell. You should have seen the look on their faces!! LOL
