For me, Beau seemed so different in his book that the glimpses I saw of him in previous books. It was my second-least favorite Chestnut Springs book, with Powerless being my least favorite (which also had the drinking and driving thing I think?)
I think the weather was crazy in general on Wednesday! 😭 I live in NYC (the Bronx) and the wind was outrageous My friend who lives in Brooklyn said the same thing and I was on ft with my boyfriend who lives about 2 hours north from NYC and the wind was very very scary and loud 😭😭😭
I am the same type of person to not wanting series to ends - I have this HUGE list of series to finish and I read a book back in like 2021 and did not realize it was part of a 17 book series and just for my brain to be chill about it, I have to read the other 16 books. Majority of my reading for 2024 will be finishing series
Like I mentioned, in the beginning of this video, it is one of the series I am currently reading and I mentioned that I was still on book 1 (which is why there's no rating up)!
I do the same thing with series! I don't want to finish because in my mind it's not done then (like you mentioned with harry potter the other day LOL). Sorry, I probably should've clarified- they controversy is not around the writer or her books. It's about her publishing house! Feel free to look it up on TikTok because people explain it a bit better than I can😅 but St Martin's press (her publishing house) is being boycotted for racist propoganda that an employee posted and they tried to sweep under the rug/not address its. So you can still read her book and support the author since it's a marketing boycott but not talk about the book online!
