I just want to apologize for using the word "gypped" in my video. I edit my videos 2-3 times before posting and as someone with the best intentions I would NEVER upload a video if I was using a racist or offensive term, I think that goes without saying. I am always learning and trying to be better and had no idea that this had an offensive or racist connotation to it or I would have never said it. After doing a lot of research I realize the harm it can cause using that word and I have now edited it out of the video. I want to thank the individuals who commented or DM'ed me to let me know because as a creator I always want to feel as though this is a space for everyone online. After talking to people online, on threads, and in my personal life, most of us had no idea this term had a racist and derogatory history. I had no idea of the ethnic roots of the term as it's a commonly used term here that I hear people say often. Of course, I did not mean it offensively and wanted to share this in case anyone else also didn't know. No one is perfect, even creators but I am always trying to better myself and I just wanted to apologize to anyone who may have taken offense from it, that was of course not my intention.
you are lucky to have Matt, I'm like you and don't always have the confidence in myself to do DIY at home projects but I am the only one that will do them, my husband is even less handy and not at all interested in doing them. I changed out a few light fixtures, most of my light switches and plug outlets in most of the house and I was so happy I accomplished that, but even painting things I procrastinate so bad. I wish I had a Matt, so much more would get done around here with two of us working at it!! White Dove was my pick as well.
Both my parents are very do it your self people, like they refuse to pay someone to do something around the house. Even my mom learned to tile the kitchen after watch a TH-cam video, so you’ll do good! With the internet you can do pretty much anything. I swear as long as you can follow some instructions and are willing to try and practice, you can do anything around the house. The only thing I don’t mess with is electrical cause that’s scary and high risk lol
I shared the tutorial in my recent morning routine! I don't use any fancy hair products (just whatever shampoo and conditioner is on sale lol) and mainly style with my shark flex style!
Idea~ there are some pieces of furniture that look like dressers that actually turn into a murphy bed space for if you have guests over etc. (Just found that out yesterday and HAD to share haha)
i love making copycat disney food at home when i’m craving a specific item! last week i made a copycat captain cooks bbq sandwich & fries & it was so yummy & brought some magic into my home 🥰
LOOOL so funny story we did that once- we recreated the steak & mac and cheese from CG and Matt got super sick from it so now we don't recreate any dinner meals we are scarred hahaha😂
that’s so funny but also awful! i have a few cookbooks that have disney inspired recipes, but i remember my mom having a chef mickey’s cookbook from the parks when i was a kid & i thought it was so cool haha
We have those in the kitchen and love them! Our dining room wall backs onto the bathroom w/ plumbing & HVAC in that wall so its not an option sadly! Honestly, though floating shelves don't really bothered me I'd prefer our home to feel homey and a little bit smaller than be big and empty🥰
I love the day to day vids, but just a side note and I’m sure you don’t mean anything by this, but the term “gypped” is actually derogatory towards the Romani people, since it comes from the word gypsy. I know the term is widely used when describing feeling ripped off. I just learned this recently and had no idea it had those connotations. Hope you (and others) can use alternate words going forward 😊
Thank you so much for sharing this because I had NO idea. I really appreciate you letting me know. Like you mentioned it's such a common word we all use in everyday language and I had no idea it could be derogatory. Easy swap to just say "feeling ripped off" or swindled!
you hyping yourself up to hang the curtains is literally me trying to put up our dog gate last week 🤣 "I know I can do this but I have to do it perfect."
20:20 the light switch on the trim is so just icky to my brain. This is like the last straw that the previous owners have done! Lol some people should not reno. But you and matt are doing an amazing job!

It’s crazy how much curtain make a difference, lovee it so much
Right? Curtains add SO much to a space
Your videos are such a comfort, hope you have a great day🥰
Thank you! You too! 🥹🫶🏻❤️

Yes I love how you have the motivation to try some of these home projects yourself
You've really been inspiring me 💖 I've been working on my house too now ❤
We just moved in to our house two months ago and I’m doing things around the house today, so this came at a perfect time! 😂
Hello! Your hair always looks so pretty. Would you do a tutorial on how you do it ? Do you any product? Have a blessed day !
I shared the tutorial in my recent morning routine! I don't use any fancy hair products (just whatever shampoo and conditioner is on sale lol) and mainly style with my shark flex style!
@@CarterSullivan thank you 😊
Have a blessed week! 🦋🌼🍄
Thank you for making my Friday evening better by posting this video. I'm sick so I've spent the whole day in bed and I'm super bored already 😐
Feel better soon ❤️
@@CarterSullivan Thank you 🙏
@cartersullivan love the bathroom makeover! Love the claw foot tub!!! Are you going to paint the silver claws? Maybe gold or black…
Yes i'm planning to paint the claws gold to match the other accents in the room! We still have lots to do in the bathroom 🥰
@@CarterSullivan I’m so excited for you! Can’t wait for a full decorated/remodeled house tour! 🌷✨
Great day to stay home

We already have a spare bedroom with a daybed! But love this idea if you're short on space😊
Carter please please pray for me since morning I am not well🥹🥹 and your vlogs are really really best for me♥️✨
Great day to stay at home

I’ve never seen anyone circle the letters like that in a word search! So interesting. I use a highlighter and just draw a line through
I usually do that!!
What if you try inset shelves in the dining room (it looks like the wall is an internal wall)? :D
So many feels❤
I loveeeee the dresser

@@CarterSullivan totally understandable!! I’m glad I could shed some light 😊
Love these “GYST” (get your shit together) days
Very much needed sometimes!!
you hyping yourself up to hang the curtains is literally me trying to put up our dog gate last week 🤣 "I know I can do this but I have to do it perfect."
Like I know i have the skills and brainpower to learn how to do it but it was SO intimidating
Your vlogs makes me so happy and cozy!
Aw this makes me so happy!
Its funny cause i am the handy that matt is but painting is a no-no for me because i am too scared to mess it up so everything is a balance
20:20 the light switch on the trim is so just icky to my brain. This is like the last straw that the previous owners have done! Lol some people should not reno. But you and matt are doing an amazing job!

❤❤❤
Your vlogs bring me so much peace and joy whenever I watch
That is so interesting. I have never seen anyone circle the individual letters for a word search.
Haha I feel like you either circle the individual letters or the whole word!
@@CarterSullivan I’ve seen people cross the word out as well
My husband turned that dresser into a BEAUTIFUL rattan dresser for our baby girls nursery - such a well built and versatile piece of furniture!
Ou love that! I think that's my fav part - how versatile it is to customize to everyone's home style🥰
Don’t use Greek villa!!! We did in our entire house and hate it. It’s sloooo much creamier than a swatch gives off!!!!
I'm most likely using white dove! I mentioned in the video that greek villa is too yellow toned for the room it was an automatic no hahaha
Ok... I think I'm triggered. Did you just circle those word search letters individually?! LOL I've never seen anyone do that in my life.
I thought everyone did it that way?? I guess not 😂
💖💖💖
