Jesse the unending My workplace remains open and our janitors are working overtime to sanitize everything in addition to their normal duties. Thank you thank you and thank you
If we are going to blame some”Race” I hope you also blame our government officials who passed the buck MONTHS ago and passed it off as some flu that would “go away “ / was a “Hoax”🤷♀️ When they absolutely knew what was really happening in China. Ok BRO🤔think about that. FACTS!!!! Son Look up peak prosperity on TH-cam and go back to their videos in JANUARY. PEACE AND LOVE know the truth and please pass it on. 💯
I’m a doctor and I haven’t been back to my hometown for a month already. This was supposed to be a parody and a feel good song but it literally brings tears to my eyes. Thank you everyone for staying at home, thank you frontline workers for working in this chaos, thank you Chris Mann for the beautiful lyrics that keep our morales up. Thank you.
And thank you for doing the job that most everyone is terrified to do, Dr. I'm in health care as well and I'm scared to death of catching this. I have underlying health problems
Shout out to all the people who are at home in domestic violence situations and those with mental illnesses and to those with special needs who cant get therapy services right now that they need. I see you.
I have Borderline Personality Disorder. I usually have weekly group therapy and a monthly individual therapy and psych appt. I'm lucky enough to be able to still have online/video appts. But most aren't. I'm also immune compromised.
@@MultiCowgirl22 I don't take that for granted. Even if my husband ends up unemployed, I won't lose insurance. I'm on Social Security Disability for mental illness and have Medicare. My benefits aren't much. But it covers copays, medicine and a minor bill or 2. My medical bills for Fibromyalgia and Psychiatric would hurt us otherwise. It almost did during the 3 yrs I was fighting to get benefits. Best of luck and stay safe and healthy. ❤️❤️❤️
I’m crying. I work at Trader Joe’s, a few weeks ago, when everyone was panic buying. It was awful. I worked so much, my feet were bleeding by the 3rd day of it. My coworkers and and I were mentally drained. Many had panic attacks in the break room. People were being so rude to us. We were just trying our best to stay stocked. Thankfully it’s gotten a lot better but now the risk of us getting sick is very high. I’m chronically ill, I have lung and heart issues, and I know I’ll get sick at work. We have had 6 coworkers tested, two negative and the other four we are waiting the results for. I’m scared, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t. Everyday before work I sit in my car and wonder if today is the day I’ll get it. I’m scared but I want to help everyone I can!! I just finished my CNA classes (not able to take the test due to COVID) and I’m in school for nursing. I just pray.
Oh God, I work at Trader Joe’s too, and those first few days were an utter nightmare! It’s better now, but still, people are being extra awful and it’s heartbreaking. Getting spat on by people coughing or sneezing and not observing any kind of distancing, customers asking questions right up in our faces, getting out of sorts when we are out of toilet paper.. every day brings new changes and more craziness. Just looking toward the day this is all over and we can become a better world. I hope you stay safe and healthy! Good luck out there!
You deserve a giant thank u. My husband told a store employee how she was doing a great job. She just stopped and cried. People don’t realize how hard things are for others. I think they slowly are. I hope so anyways.
Wow Cait. Thank you for all you're doing. I'm in kenya right now but still thank you for what you are doing to help people keep going. Praying for you.
I'm crying right now. I'm a mail carrier, and lots of people don't appreciate us going out and exposing ourselves. I have an immunocompromised child, and I'm still going to work! I have family in the healthcare field as well. I will be sharing. By far my favorite parody. Thank you! Edit : I wasn't expecting so many people to reach out.... thank you for the appreciation!
:( Thank you for all you do, your sacrifice will not go unnoticed or forgotten!! Just know I would give up my mail temporarily for your safety! But I know some people's health and wellbeing depend on it... Please stay safe and healthy!💕💕💕
My husband and I are long haul truck drivers, dedicated critical supply chain. Keeping food available for institutions and schools serving box meals for kids (for some, it’s the only meal they get). We’ll keep rolling as long as we stay healthy. Give us room on the road. 80,000 doesn’t stop on a dime. Basic physics. Be kind and we’ll all get through this together. 🧡🧡🧡😺 meow
Thank you for what you are both doing! My friends husband is also a truck driver,my cousin a Police officer in NYC. THANK YOU ALL,I am grateful for you!!!
I’m crying. I’m a grocery store manger, my aunt is a nurse, my mom is a nurses aide, one of my best friends is a teacher, my friend is active military. Every little bit matters. Thank you 😭
BRAVO! 👏👏👏 ...brought tears to my eyes as well! What a great way to acknowledge and thank all the Frontline people that are out there risking their lives to help others! God bless them! 🙏
@Philip Barnard well I'm pretty sure I have covid 19 right now and his songs brought my spirits up so if he makes money from them and it helps him make more videos then more power to him. His songs made my day!!!!
My 93 year-old mother just heard your song and she wants me to tell you thank you for this song and she believes that it should be the national anthem for now.
@@DebyNieto-kq2ci We are blessed to have our Moms still in our life, aren't we? After having major pain issues this week, I teased her last night and said "Ya know? I always knew that I would be taking care of you in your old age, I just forgot to realize that when you get older, I would be old as well." We had a chuckle of that. I took care of my older brother who passed away from kidney cancer 20 years ago and it is amazing what a few extra years can do to our bodies! It was so much easier & yet he was larger than my Mom.
@@lisakukla459 well, I was thinking for now - but why not forever? Remind the young ones in a few years what our country can do when we pull together and help one another... right?
@@dennisandromanzasorensen8377 I gave her a shower the other day and dried her off..while hugging her in the towel I btoke down..She feklt like my baby.....
I work in the hospital linens service washing and drying all the hospital linens in upstate NY and we are processing over 65.000 pounds of laundry a day. There is over 75 people where I work we separated everyone's work area to 6foot apart take separate brake times and lunches. I get to work say my prayers for my self and family. My son is a x-ray tech in a hospital and my wife also works in the hospital so lots of exposure to the Covid19 in my house. All I can say to people is cover your face and wash wash wash wash your hands don't touch your face and stay away from people. Stay home stay safe. We can beat this if we just stay separated for a while slow it down so it can be stopped.
❤❤❤❤❤❤just listened to this song again in 2024. Thank you for this song. As a pharmacist during those years I felt invisible. We went to work so early it was dark, and frequently worked until it went went home in the dark. Now that it is sort of back to normal people want to forget the hours we put in.😊
I was a nurse for 32yrs. and worked trough the Aids crisis when nobody knew how it was spread. I'm so thankful that nurses and Drs. still go on into the thick of it and come out the other side. The ones that are still in the fight, God Bless you. God's got your back! Thank You for the Song. Beautiful!
This gave me chills. Thank you also, veterinarians who are staying open. Amongst all of this the last thing you want to worry about is if your pet needs care.
@@FlyLikeDove And many are giving their supplies to hospitals, so they are at risk for exposure, too. Just made several masks for my DVM sister because they donated so much of what they had to hospitals.
@@Lichan11 this was so wonderful in so many ways! I have been enjoying your videos the past few days courtesy of TH-cam's recommendations, and today I'm subscribing... Looking forward to seeing/hearing what you come up with next, my froend. Stay healthy and safe out there!
I am standing here crying my eyes out with the eloquence and sincerity of a simple thank you! Brilliant, this should be a PSA. These folks are keeping the country going!
Thank you from canada vancouver !!! THANK YOU FOR THIS VIDEO AND BEAUTIFUL NEW VERSION OF THIS BEAUTIFUL SONG !!! WE ALL GONNA GET BETTER AND STRONGER ONCE ALL THIS IS OVER 😍
The other day, Amazon delivered my package, and I had to open my window and shout, "Thank you!" He said you're welcome. THANK YOU AMAZON WORKERS AND ALL. you have delivered to my neighbors and me many times more than usual during this time. I really appreciate you! Hope you read this. PLEASE, when you see them deliver to you, thank them. Let them know how much we appreciate their support right now.❤❤❤❤
Fit n Fab I have seen the mail man and ups man deliver my mail and I always think “gosh I’m thankful for all they are doing and hope they are staying well”. Now I’m just going to shout THANKYOU at them. They deserve to hear it 💕😊
When I go out for my solo exercise walks, I have been waving to the delivery people and saying thank you to the mail deliverers and cashiers, anybody who is in service.
As social workers civil employees we are almost never mentioned. Thank you for remembering us. We serve the homeless, the hungry, those with many desperate issues. Thank you. 🙏🏽 ❤️
My Mum was a nurse who dedicated her life to caring in the NHS... she contracted the coronavirus and died two weeks ago... I am heartbroken. When I came across your video, I cried. But they were good tears, thinking of all who cared for Mum in her last days as she had cared for so many before. Thank you for a beautiful video to bring out the best in all of us. Thank you for your tears. Thank you for caring. Thank you.
I hope your doing okay! Not sure why, but I cannot stop crying! I am sorry...you are living our nightmare! Please take care and know other people are thinking of you!!
Oh Lord!! I'm so very sorry. I'm holding you in my heart!❤❤ We all are indebtedl to your dear mother and other carers. May you find peace in knowing your mother gave her last full measure of devotion to her fellow man and woman. 🙏🙏 God bless you and your family!!💖💗💗💗💗💗💗💗
@@8ofwands300 Thank you very much Carolyn for your wonderfully kind words. Not a day goes by without my thinking about Mum, Words such as yours are a great comfort.
If you work in a nursing home....THANK YOU!!!! You truly are an unsung hero. Thank you for being with those who can't have visits with their family! What you do is so important and appreciated! ❤🙏
Working in a nursing home.....THANK YOU isn't enough. Being with these folks when their family can't is so appreciated! You and your coworkers are truly heroes! Thank you for what you do!!❤🙏
And thank you food service workers! As someone managing a coffee shop inside a hospital, I have seen so much strength and care coming from my employees, putting their own fears aside to thank these doctors and nurses on the front line every day. Not just with words, but by keeping our door open, though these are very pressing times for small business owners like ours. We are donating coffee to help keep the shifts we can't be open for, and let me tell you, they are grateful! They provide us with masks to help keep us protected, and remind us that we matter, and everyone can do something to help even if it is just pour a cup of coffee. I encourage everyone to do anything you can because help is still help no matter what cup you serve it in, or who you serve it to. And thank you Chris Mann!
Thank you for providing for people in this kind time of need. It means a lot. Not just for doctors - for everyone. You're a good person. Thanks for shouldering more than your fair share of the burden.
we are a family of frontline healthcare workers, my 85 year old Dad ,Dr Ray Windham is getting up and going to work the urgent care four days a week. My sister is a PA on a native reservation clinic, my hubbie is an endovascular neurosurgeon and interventional radiologist at the hospital, my son is a fourth year med student at Yale, and I'm a family practice doctor. This makes my heart soar, ..I loved sharing it my 85 year old mom who worries everyday about my dad. her daughters, her son in law, coming home with covid ,...Thank you so much. Doctors were idolized when I was a kid, respected, maybe they will be again after this.
Thank you to all you and your family. Healthcare is a crazy place to be right now. My mother in law is a RN in critical care, so I know how scary it can be for the family. Prayers go to you and yours. 🙏🙏🙏
Thank you to all your family for being there to rescue the very sick Covid patients,, and for the rest of humanity!! You are thanked and totally respected!!
We farmers, and we gonna keep you all fed! We pumping 18 hour days, to make sure you got some fresh food on your tables afyer your long days!! No wind rain or sun is gonna keep us out the fields. Thank you to a family full of medicine, for the sacrifice away from family and loved ones!! We do appreciate it!! Please don't lose hope!! Thank you!
I’ve only just now found this beautiful song!! I am a Nurse in Australia who worked on the frontline during Covid in 2021 for 18 months. I was (and am) a single Mum and my kids at the time were only 2 and 8 so I’d have to work then go home strip and shower THEN pick them up! In one day, a public holiday my sister minded my kids and I got home and had to run past my son (2yrs) and lock myself in the bathroom and shower all while he was screaming for me! I cried and cried in that shower HATING that I couldn’t even hug my baby after working! He didn’t understand!! But I did it for my kids, for your kids and my community, and knowing I was helping made days like that, and days where protestors spat on us and screamed god awful things at is worth it! I remember having a line of people outside work applaud us and stone cold me crying again! Lol THANK YOU seems so little but it meant sooooooo much!!! As a Nurse of 21 years you are rarely thanked, so to see people recognizing our sacrifice, us putting our lives on the line everyday and tbh our families was the best moment in my entire career! So thank YOU for thanking us!! You’ve absolutely no idea how much, to this day, that it meant! And people don’t forget though we now live with COVID, many can’t! Our elderly, our infants and babies and our immunocompromised can still be fatally effected so continue to be aware and be safe, and don’t forget your boosters! Take care everyone xxx
So true. I've been imaging the day where I can, again, hug a friend, sit down in a restaurant, go to the library, enjoy a trip....we took so much for granted.
I dont have friends i do have some coworkers i talk to...so this has me even sadder than normal. I wish i had a friend to talk to, and hug after this is done. Maybe this is my chance to put myself out there and try to make new friends. (Lets hope)
I am a pharmacy technician student working part-time as a pharmacy assistant and have to deal with Asthma and worries for my elderly parents and am thankful to everyone on the front line and watching this had me in tears, so love seeing people help each other out. That is the way it should always be. We all need to be there for each other.
2 years later and this still hits me in the feels. My husband and I were working through the pandemic in a care home. We lost half our residents sadly within the first month of covid. Thank you for this. Beautifully written. 👏
I cry every time I watch this. A week ago, I passed a mail carrier as I was going into a drug store. I thanked her for what she did every day. She said she was going to 😢. We take so much for granted. No more.
I’m a nurse myself, I just want to say THANK YOU to the public for having us in your prayers, showing us that our effort is being appreciated. It means more than anything we can get for free. I’m trying to stay healthy, taking vitamins, taking care of myself..so I can continue to take care of you! So you guys continue to stay home for us!
As an "essential" grocery store worker (my other professional jobs were suspended), I THANK YOU for this song. I cried like a lil' b*tch, I admit. We're exhausted. We're getting accused of holding product back. We come home, only to clean up, shower, maybe sleep, and do it again. I wish more people understood. I appreciate your musical magic!
my wonderful kids who bring the groceries out to my car at my grocery store looked is beaten to death and of course they're just incredibly overtired. Bless your heart honey and I love you for doing what you're doing
My boyfriend works at a grocery store in customer service and this rude woman came up to him the other day and accused them of price gouging eggs. When there was a letter on the aisle stating why egg prices were higher 🙄
Just please know that In any life situation the gods will throw in a few idiots 🤪 but please know that 99.95% of the shoppers are smart enough to know and think about how hard you grocery employees are working and we so appreciate it and feel for you all. The two times I’ve been out to shop I make it a point to ask them how they’re doing and thank you. It makes an impact and it’s such an easy thing to tell someone.
Jennifer, thank you very much. God bless you and keep you well. You are a blessing to many, even the ungrateful and embittered whether they know it or not.
SAME here ( also an essential grocery store worker) ..... I cried like a lil b*tch too... We are exhausted and would love to be safe at home with our families, but know we have others depending on us....
I’m cruisin’ through Chris’ parody videos, giggling and having a good old time. Then I find this one. And it made me cry. My dad is 75 and diabetic, but he chooses to continue working despite being financially sound. He’s a senior lead mechanic for FedEx, which is an essential service. It’s his job to make sure the planes get fixed so he can put them back in service and get them off the ground. FedEx and other carriers are critical during this time. But I am absolutely terrified for my dad. Guys at his work have tested positive. They shut down those workshops and sanitized them. And they’re now screening all employees before allowing them in the buildings. But, of course, that’s no guarantee. So this song really means a lot to me. It felt like a big thank you to my dad. I thank you, in return. ❤️
One of my sons works for FedEx as well - as does several friends of our family. My son comes home complaining about the workload - worse now than when it was during the holidays. He also sadly acknowledges that if anyone brings the virus to our home it will probably be him (he's the only one still working outside of home).
I don't usually get emotional from songs but this had me in tears. My mum is a nurse and I work in a care home and we're all doing our best to keep our residents safe. Stay safe everyone
Thank you to the: ER doctors, ICU doctors, respiratory therapists, urgent care doctors, nurses, other health care professionals coming to do their part, Amazon workers, supermarket employees, paramedics, policemen, firemen, teachers, hospital cleaners, funeral workers, and everyone else working to help save those who need help.
Don't forget those female law enforcement officers and fire fighters, too! 😊 And everyone else who braves conditions and risks their health to support civilization during this near-apocalyptic crisis. 👏
Blessings to your son. I have 3 grown sons and know how much I treasure them, as you do your son. Tell him thank you for his service. I will pray for his health and well being.
I was working as a cashier at a very busy grocery store. Finally took leave and am now quarantined at home. I have now experienced both sides of this. Neither is better. I think I have PTSD. Thanks to all and hang in there everyone!
Not only do I work in retail and have to work during this. It’s very surprising how many people are still so selfish. It’s rare to hear a thank you for doing our job to keep the world going during this crazy time. Thank you for this song sir
My partner is an essential worker, he is a support worker with adults who have learning difficulties and can't live with their families. He risks catching this damn virus daily to make sure his clients are safe and their needs are met. He's my hero! This song brought me to tears, thinking about all of the essential workers at this difficult time. Thank you each and every one of you ❤️
@PharmSilver - Thank you for continuing to assist people with their medical needs. I hope you stay well, both physically & emotionally during this challenging period when you're needed even more than ever. What a lovely gesture from your children and former wife.
Thank you!!!! Your efforts and personnel sacrifice are integral to keeping us all healthy, thereby keeping continuity in our lives and giving us one less thing to stress about. You may never know the impact your contribution has. Rest assured, it is bigger than we can fathom. No longer the unsung hero. Blessings to you and your family.
I'm a nurse and this is such a beautiful song, song for everyone that makes the world a better place. Love will always prevail and may God bless us all🙏
When my husband decided to be an OTR trucker last spring, not going to lie, I was seriously pissed off....for a very very long time!! I was left with a 16 acre farm and two teenage boys to keep in line and homeschool AND my own business.....now though, I know that there was a Divine plan and I was too stubborn in this reality to see it. So he's out there one of the ones keeping the supply chain moving along. And I say it here and now, if time comes and it is necessary for me to return to the frontline in a medical laboratory somewhere that I left and put in my rearview 9 years ago.....than I will accept that with as much humility that my spouse does everytime he leaves home for those month long trips. 🙏🏽💜💙💚💫 Thank you all for all you do.!!!
Namaste Woke , I’ve been an over the road truck driver for 13 years. It can be a challenge. Wishing blessings to you and your family. Tell your husband to keep it shiny side up and hammer down.
Namaste'...work in a truck stop in Wisconsin... will tell you these men and women bust it everyday and night to keep us all going. I hear their frustrations and can promise that most of their time in our dining room is spent on the phone calling the ones they love.
This needs to temporarily replace our national anthem...actually, this song needs to go viral world wide. This should be played on every TV and Radio Station worldwide.
Please thank your husband so very much! Greetings from Germany. I am in tears, reading all these comments. May we and especially you all get through this incredible times!
I bless your husband and all of his coworkers. Knowing right here and right now: Peace fills every cell of their bodies. Love floods their souls. Protection surrounds all. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As an elementary school custodian, and also someone who has a weak immune system and lives with my diabetic mother, this was exactly what I needed to hear after 4 straight days of fear trying to get used to working through this and keeping me and my family as safe as I can. Thank you so much for making me realise I'm not totally forgotten.
Raechel Rickard Y'all aren't forgotten. ❤️ You probably have a lot of the kids at the school that look up to you too. When I was growing up, there were a few janitors/custodians I loved taking to; the other kids did as well. Y'all kick 🍑!! 😉👍🏻❤️
This was by far the best for me. As a doctor, it can get frustrating out here, but we keep on going. It's scary thinking that a family member or friend may go through what we are handling day by day. No one should go through this. Thank you for remembering everyone still working despite the pandemic and our patients fighting everyday to get better.
I remember witnessing Chris singing-competing on The Voice, say 8 years ago. Operatic acrobats. Soooooo good. He was on Christina Aguilera's team. That says a lot. Then I saw him singing with David Foster accompanying him on the piano, David, one of the best composers in the world. David was in awe of Chris' voice. As am I. Not only is Chris a spectacular, pitch perfect singer, he's FUNNY as hell. Thank YOU Chris! What a beautiful heart too.
I am a norwegian nurse, taking care of Covid patients. This song was a realy great gift and reminder of what's important. Thank you for making this song for humanity at this time Much love to ya' all
You got me in tears. My husband used to be a janitor and people always have over looked them. Now he’s a paper carrier. They consider him essential part of the media. Taxi and non emergency transporters as well. They all go out everyday trying to make a living and now things have slowed down for them. But they still do what little trips come their way.
Thank you to ALL THE FRONTLINERS. My husband works in the grocery store and i have load of friends and family who are working in nursing, healthcare aid and group homes. YOU mean the world to us. Keep up the hard work. Stay safe and healthy. STAY HOME. WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER, WE NEED TO STAY STRONG. God bless you all.
My eyes got teary when I heard it the first time. I am a physician in Florida, preparing for harder days to come. Thank you Chris! This song made my day and I know it will bring a smile to many of my colleagues!
I work in a doctor's office in Germany as a medical assistant and thank you Chris Mann for this song. Your respect to everyone who still has to work now. God bless us all 🙏🏻
As a respiratory therapist I just want to say thank you for this! It has been a long, hard road but it will get better. And after all the long hard days it just feels nice to feel appreciated for everything me and my coworkers do on a daily basis.
This is seriously beautiful! Just raw, real and poignant as hell. As the wife of an ER nurse, I am having to keep myself and my daughter at distance from my own husband, her father. This is amazing.Thank you!
Thank you, Chris Mann! My hubby is a doctor volunteering extra time to help his colleagues. He was feeling really sad today because although he is doing his best to keep up, he was feeling a bit frustrated he could not reach out to help more patients. He absolutely appreciated and loved your video. ❤️ Thanks for lifting our spirits. We really needed this today. 🙏🏼💕
Thank you to you and your man! I'm a farmer in South Africa, and my dad and I are hitting 18 hour days to get food out, we have people like your bf driving for us, and my sister works in the hospital, thank you for the sacrifice and dedication!! We appreciate it!!
This is awesome! My husband is a police officer~ it’s heartbreaking to know that they are finding elderly people who have passed in their homes, alone, almost daily now here in our city. He continues to go to work everyday, putting himself in jeopardy. Chris Mann, thank you for acknowledging first responders!
As a 911 dispatcher, we are working our absolute hardest to screen each and every call and our policies change daily to keep up with the new information we get. We are the 'first' first responders and we are doing our very best to keep our whole public safety brothers and sisters as safe as possible. Our motto is 'everyone goes home tonight'. Thank you to your husband for his service, and to you for being a police officers wife, that's a tough job. God bless
OMG. As an RN, I most appreciate the thank you for other’s , Janitors, UPS , Fed Ex workers, people who feed the animals, ect...so many people have helped us save lives. This video was so awesome...for the greater good. *be still my heart* Thank you Chris your awesome.
I am the sole owner/operator of a small computer repair business in south-central WV. I am a single mother and my 13yr old son is homeschooled, so he's with me every day. All of the other computer repair shops (except Staples and I mean, they're not actual technicians) have shut down. I've tried to transition my customers to using remote support, and a few have, but MOSTLY I'm dealing with hardware repairs, so people have to bring their equipment in. A few people have slammed me online, saying that I'm a "small time" repair shop, mocking me, and saying I'm not an "essential service" so I should shut down (because I've criticized some of the big corp stores that insist on staying open here, putting their workers, and others, at risk). Well, they haven't been here the last few days to see customers practically in tears of gratitude that I'm still taking drop-off work. I'm doing what I can to minimize my risk of exposure, and my son's risk, even though my exposure is (hopefully) much lower than the front line medical workers. I wear gloves, I have a sanitation station inside my front door with a UV-C decontamination chamber, I'm constantly cleaning and sanitizing with bleach solution and alcohol and I'm still terrified. But here I am. So although it didn't specifically mention IT Infrastructure support (at a time when the whole world is relying on IT more than ever before), I was grateful for this song.
Thank you for your service and dedication to helping keep people's lives better is this hour of need. I'm sorry for all the angry ignorant people that you do have to deal with.
Keep doing what your'e doing, for as long as you can, you're helping people! I'm just one random person from England, (via the internet) lol, but I support you 100% :)
Hey thanks for helping people, not making any extra risk doing so and making things better for people. You count in this too, none of us need anyone else’s opinion, we know, ok? :)
Thank you Mr. Mann for inspiring me as a 25+ year truck driver to perform random acts of kindness. Started today by giving a thank you note with money to a truckstop janitor. So Thank You for the most impacting song of the century!
As an " essential " worker this was actually touching compared to the bullshit I hear at work on a daily . Maybe it's a mix of knowing the basis of real song and the message of this one damn near makes me teary eyed
I came over from the “hello” parody. But, oh my word, this brought me to tears. Even though my group is left out (like mostly everywhere else), I feel this song. I’m a social worker at child services in Germany and making sure the children are safe while not being able to talk to them or the families is not making the situation easier for any of us. So: stay safe! Watch out for those who need help! And thank u Chris
Thank you for all you do. He did mention “Cival Service Employees.” Not sure about Germany but here that includes government agencies- whether it be federal, state, or local.
Same here with that ' Hello ', a friend of mine's sent to me. I found u & u found me. Thank u all. I'm a frontline as well. Just got home. Good morning !!!
Stefanie, you and all the children in group homes and families at risk were in my heart from the moment the lockdown was announced. It must be so hard for you and for the little ones. I have an almost 4 year old foster son who cannot understand why he is not allowed to see his older brother who has been placed with his grandmother recently. We were only starting the process of grieving that we could`t take him in with us and now we cannot even meet with him anymore. My heart goes out to you on the frontline of everything unseen happening right now behind closed doors :-(
As an RN I think this is amazing , our hero’s are not the high paid sports players , they are everyone mentioned in this song , we are keeping this country going right now , I work with the most vulnerable my job is to keep them safe and we are doing it ..❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️😘😘❤️❤️❤️❤️😘❤️
My husband is out right now over the road getting food from manufactures to the warehouse.. Scared for him everyday.. He has health conditions.. Thank you for this 💖
I thanked someone when they stopped for me at a crossing, and they said the usual "I'm just following the roadcode" - and I thought "well, in that case, thank you for doing just that, following the roadcode"
Love this song! I have a couple more shout outs...to the Deputies who work in jails and prisons; and the therapists, psychiatrists, and mental health workers who work in psych hospitals
As a Pharmacy Tech, this really hit me and I'm crying. Thank you for this. The fear when we are out there, in our pharmacies and in the doctors and nurses we talk to day in and day out, is so real. Something like this really means so much to many of us.
No, I'm not crying. Damn this situation has been hard. My husband as a civil employee has had to report to work and is worried about getting sick. I have a cousin whose a head nurse, friends who are police and firefighters, a friend who works at Whole Foods and has seen all sorts of craziness. I've been teaching online which has been hard with my eldest and my toddler also at home. We are thankful we have jobs. So many people lost their jobs here. Good and hard working people in small restaurants and businesses are struggling. We will get out of this! Stay strong!
I'll admit the tears flooded down my face. Hard is an understatement. My husband is also a civil employee and is high risk, I'm an essential worker as well, my cousin is a grocery clerk and several close friends are nurses, so I understand your fear. Sending loads of thanks to you and your family! We all play a part in this, no matter if it's staying home or out working essential jobs. We CAN get through this. We just need to do our part, no matter what that is, and keep hope alive. Together we can emerge stronger than before! ❤
Educate and Create thank you to all these heroes! th-cam.com/video/evnex1P4Pkk/w-d-xo.html a heartfelt tribute to our healthcare workers fighting this battle
@@davidh1927 I think God let's things like this happen to test us and see how we treat each other. In every tragedy that happens, people pull together and help others. Of course, there are the people that take advantage too, but still, there are a lot of companies pulling together to help us get through this tough time.
This is wonderful!! And a “Thank You” to the heroes we never talk about....the last responders. Those dedicated people who come in after the pain and suffering is over. The ones that give dignity to death and closure to grieving families. Funeral morticians who are working 24hrs a day , going into every high risk environment there is. And when this is finally over , for the multitude of services they will be responsible for providing because people can finally gather to grieve together.....Thank you....this is what my daughter does everyday 💜
@Laura - Please let your daughter I'm grateful for her doing her job and taking the risk during this challenging time. I hope she stays well and has enough protective equipment. I imagine her continued physical and emotional wellbeing is on your mind a lot.
I’m just bawling reading these comments of people’s suffering and incredible kindness, selflessness, and compassion. From across the nation and the world. Your song has touched so many people 😭 This Is America. This is us!
Everyone saying thank you, the biggest way you can thank them is with social distancing and essential trips only. If everyone in America did this we’d give them the biggest thank you of all by giving them less cases to deal with.
So true! I am a Walmart associate and I am in the middle of a 2 week unpaid LOA because I needed a break from the craziness there! I am not looking forward to going back to work in such a crowded store where people still seem to think Walmart is a place to gather🤦
I agree. I also REALLY appreciate the song though. I haven't seen anyone DIRECTLY say THANK YOU to the ppl who have to work. I'm just happy that Chris wrote a song of Gratitude.
I just about cried! My oldest daughter who is a cafeteria manager, along with many of their school district cafeteria employees are putting together and delivering 5,000 breakfasts and lunches and sometimes dinners daily, to make sure these kids are eating well! My youngest daughter is an MA in a doctors office. So a big Thank you Chris!
I work in food service, and I'm considered "essential". I'm also in the higher risk category. My mother is an RN and is out every day taking care of home bound patients. i also have a son who has to keep working through this. I'm scared every day. I've begun to resent every person I come in contact with who refuses to stop touching me, and the ones who clearly should be at home. Frankly, I've been so angry at the heartlessness of so many people. I needed this so much. So, thank you.
It’s easy to see those who are disrespecting the stay at home order because all those who are respecting are at home and therefore unseen. There are many of us staying home and understanding the importance of what’s going on. Thank you for continuing to be an essential worker and I am sorry for the disregard of others. There are many more of us who care. Again thank you to you and to your mom for caring about humanity
I work at a Fast Food restaurant and I know my part in this whole epidemic is extremely minor, so I just want to say a HUGE thank you to everyone that does and are actually reading this. Each and every single one of you are the true Superheroes of our world.
*First time I’ve cried during this world health crisis. To the frontline workers in my family, and to all those around the world who continue to take care of the world...Thank You!* ♥️✨♥️
I have so many of these people in my life. My dad's a truck driver, my mom's a teacher, my cousin's a nurse, my uncle is a grocery clerk. ❤ Thank you ❤
AND.... how about a HUGE THANK YOU to the ALWAYS FORGOTTEN IT ENGINEERS, SERVICE TECHNICIANS AND HELP DESKS!!! For without them almost anyone mentioned in this video could do their jobs!!! They work more hours than most any of these career fields and people have just come to expect all electronics to work without a hitch. Without them out phones would be useless, our home computers would be worthless. There are MILLIONS of them World Wide. In every country, every city, and every town. THANK YOU!!!
I have to say thank you to a Doctor Gordon in Orlando whom I saw once when I had to go to the ER with an Appendix attack (whiched eventually was removed). When she saw what I did for a living, she said “oh someone who works more hours than I do!”. I just laughed and said how did you know. It turned out her husband was a Systems Support Engineer.
I am literally crying as I sit on my couch at home. My mom works for a factory and she still has to go to work 4 days a weeks, 10 hours a day. She did have to do overtime on Friday and Saturday, but they finally cut they off for now starting last week. Thank you to everyone who is doing their part. Saving lives, going to work, and those at home flattening the curve. I work as a substitute teacher and as of now I have no work. Praying for everyone and thank you once again for creating this video and song.
Normally i laugh watching your uploads, this time I'm crying. I'm a nurse. Thank you for the love and appreciation everyone has been showing. We will do our best and pray for an end to this.
we just finished transfering all patients in our unit yesterday to make a covid-19 unit and just before i finished my 12hrs shift we received 5 covid-19 positive patients..I'm exhausted and scared..when I got home last night me and my 13 yr old son was watching Chris corona videos and it makes me feel a lot better! thank u very much Chris - ❤ from the nurses here Miami, Fl

Take care everyone xxx

a heartfelt tribute to our healthcare workers fighting this battle
Yep - definitely tugs at the heart strings
I was working as a cashier at a very busy grocery store. Finally took leave and am now quarantined at home. I have now experienced both sides of this. Neither is better. I think I have PTSD. Thanks to all and hang in there everyone!
Ok, you've made us laugh, and now you've made us cry. This one catapulted you to "king of quarentine songs" status. *I crown you King Corona.*
Blessed Be my friend, he is the King of Corona.
Ditto 😘
If we give him the Corona Crown, would that be redundant?
WhatAWorld absolutely!!!
long may he reign
Song is for every country...in the world and you all need to share this message.
love from Scotland xx
Love back from the USA. God bless Scotland.
Sending big hugs 🤗 from Canada!
Ricky Bell my Scottie dog Tegan and I send you much love and hugs from the USA

Sending love from UK and South Africa
Not only do I work in retail and have to work during this. It’s very surprising how many people are still so selfish. It’s rare to hear a thank you for doing our job to keep the world going during this crazy time. Thank you for this song sir
Thank you Josh. God Bless and keep you safe!
josh peretti amen! And thank you for your unselfish hard work❤️
Thank you, thank you, thank you. I really mean it. This world is a better place because of you.
Josh stay strong. You are having to work retail and be a social worker. You are an angel in hellish times. 💖
My point exactly. Thanks for pointing this out.
My partner is an essential worker, he is a support worker with adults who have learning difficulties and can't live with their families. He risks catching this damn virus daily to make sure his clients are safe and their needs are met.
He's my hero!
This song brought me to tears, thinking about all of the essential workers at this difficult time.
Thank you each and every one of you ❤️
My children sent me this today. As a pharmacist inside a grocery store it was very touching. Excellent job putting this together !
we say "thank you👏👏👏
Ha she's your ex but still cares about you, incredible
@PharmSilver - Thank you for continuing to assist people with their medical needs. I hope you stay well, both physically & emotionally during this challenging period when you're needed even more than ever.
What a lovely gesture from your children and former wife.
Thank you!!!! Your efforts and personnel sacrifice are integral to keeping us all healthy, thereby keeping continuity in our lives and giving us one less thing to stress about. You may never know the impact your contribution has. Rest assured, it is bigger than we can fathom.
No longer the unsung hero.
Blessings to you and your family.
God bless and stay safe. Did you ever realize you were our heros? Times like these bring out the best of America and the world.
I'm a nurse and this is such a beautiful song, song for everyone that makes the world a better place. Love will always prevail and may God bless us all🙏
Thank you :)
Thank you Cara.
Thank you!!!! 💞🌍🌏🌎👏👏😷 they need to make a emoji that means a hug
Thank you Cara! Keep up the FANTASTIC work! :)
Thanks.
You and your husband are so appreciated just want to let you know how awesome you are.
be nice to your husband. we don't all have a partner
Namaste Woke wow God bless you and your family stay safe out there
Namaste'...work in a truck stop in Wisconsin... will tell you these men and women bust it everyday and night to keep us all going. I hear their frustrations and can promise that most of their time in our dining room is spent on the phone calling the ones they love.
This needs to temporarily replace our national anthem...actually, this song needs to go viral world wide. This should be played on every TV and Radio Station worldwide.
I totally agree this song is awesome
Yes!
Why isn’t this our worldwide corona crisis song all over every media outlet?? Why? It should be our anthem!
Yes! I ask the same question.
It might be but people don't sing the anthem normally do they
💖💙💜❤💛💝🧡💚💖💙💜❤💛💝🧡
I agree it is an amazing video Beautifully done!
I so agree!!! I don't understand why it's not...
My husband is a respiratory therapist and has been taking care of coronavirus patients, thank you for this!

I see you, and I'm thinking of you. Try your best to be strong and brave, you are a hero.
Raechel Rickard
Y'all aren't forgotten. ❤️ You probably have a lot of the kids at the school that look up to you too. When I was growing up, there were a few janitors/custodians I loved taking to; the other kids did as well. Y'all kick 🍑!! 😉👍🏻❤️
We see u and thinking of u and your mom. Thank you!!!
You got this! 💖
This was by far the best for me. As a doctor, it can get frustrating out here, but we keep on going. It's scary thinking that a family member or friend may go through what we are handling day by day. No one should go through this. Thank you for remembering everyone still working despite the pandemic and our patients fighting everyday to get better.

Thank you and God Bless you
I can't imagine how hard that would be.
Thank you
A year later and another big covid push... we haven't forgotten! Thank you for saving as many as you can!
As a healthcare worker, this legit made me cry!
Thank you for making this song for humanity at this time
Much love to ya' all
Stay safe 😇
God bless you!
I lost my son, May 30tb 2021, and I need to say thanks to all the front line workers who walked with me through this.
And THANK YOU Chris, for this. The country, and our world need to hear this message more than ever right now. ❤️
This brought tears to my eyes. I'm a Public Health Nurse.
Thank you
Thank you

Thank you!!❤
You got me in tears. My husband used to be a janitor and people always have over looked them. Now he’s a paper carrier. They consider him essential part of the media. Taxi and non emergency transporters as well. They all go out everyday trying to make a living and now things have slowed down for them. But they still do what little trips come their way.
Former janitor and thank you both. Whatever the job is, do it well. We all see it.
God bleds doc 🙏🙏
Thank you, Doctor, for risking your life to save others. Be safe and stay well.
I work in a doctor's office in Germany as a medical assistant and thank you Chris Mann for this song. Your respect to everyone who still has to work now. God bless us all 🙏🏻
Spirituell-Leben Indeed & Amen - Be Well🙏
As a respiratory therapist I just want to say thank you for this! It has been a long, hard road but it will get better. And after all the long hard days it just feels nice to feel appreciated for everything me and my coworkers do on a daily basis.
I remember seeing this 2 years ago. It still gives me eye puddles today 💙
This is seriously beautiful! Just raw, real and poignant as hell. As the wife of an ER nurse, I am having to keep myself and my daughter at distance from my own husband, her father. This is amazing.Thank you!
I like to thank the farmers, chefs, truckers, pilots and captains who make sure we get what we need through these trying times.
Frontline cleaner here, working on the Coronavirus Unit of a care home in the Netherlands. Little things like this mean a lot, so thank you too.
"How about governing without all the politics"...yes, yes and AMEN!!
TEARS -- Thank you to my boyfriend transporting food across our country. He does that every week but right now it is so important.
Tell him thank you from all of us because we don't get to see him and tell him. God bless him and all the workers and their families. Heroes.
Thank you to you and your man!
I'm a farmer in South Africa, and my dad and I are hitting 18 hour days to get food out, we have people like your bf driving for us, and my sister works in the hospital, thank you for the sacrifice and dedication!!
We appreciate it!!
Thank him for us.
Thank you and your family for all the silent struggles daily for the greater good.
That so saddening to hear. 😭
God bless
Thank you to your husband!
@@mandyireson5101 Thank you for serving your community.
OMG. As an RN, I most appreciate the thank you for other’s , Janitors, UPS , Fed Ex workers, people who feed the animals, ect...so many people have helped us save lives. This video was so awesome...for the greater good. *be still my heart* Thank you Chris your awesome.
My daughter is a mother of two, in Grad School getting her Masters in Nursing and still working. She's my hero!!!
God bless your daughter 🙏🙏
Thank you 😊
Thank you for your service and dedication to helping keep people's lives better is this hour of need. I'm sorry for all the angry ignorant people that you do have to deal with.
Keep doing what your'e doing, for as long as you can, you're helping people! I'm just one random person from England, (via the internet) lol, but I support you 100% :)
Thanks for doing what you’re doing ❤️
Hey thanks for helping people, not making any extra risk doing so and making things better for people. You count in this too, none of us need anyone else’s opinion, we know, ok? :)
Thank you Mr. Mann for inspiring me as a 25+ year truck driver to perform random acts of kindness. Started today by giving a thank you note with money to a truckstop janitor. So Thank You for the most impacting song of the century!
Slammin Sam Thank you!!! 👍🙏🙏🙏👏🏻🥰
Thank you for helping to keep the world running :) Without people in your line of work, my life would have turned out much worse than it did :)
Me too!! I am in tears!!
Jessica Kemna I pray you continue to stay safe.
Thank you for everything you're doing!
Educate and Create thank you to all these heroes! th-cam.com/video/evnex1P4Pkk/w-d-xo.html
a heartfelt tribute to our healthcare workers fighting this battle
G-D doesnt give us anything more than we can handle...we can do this
I cried and thank you and your family for being heroes.
@@davidh1927 I think God let's things like this happen to test us and see how we treat each other. In every tragedy that happens, people pull together and help others. Of course, there are the people that take advantage too, but still, there are a lot of companies pulling together to help us get through this tough time.
2 and a half years later, this is still so relevant. Thank you -the anti immune
Great acknowledgement!
Yes, thank you for caring
AMEN to that, Laura!!!
@Laura - Please let your daughter I'm grateful for her doing her job and taking the risk during this challenging time. I hope she stays well and has enough protective equipment. I imagine her continued physical and emotional wellbeing is on your mind a lot.
Yes. You are right. Its a tough job that alot of people are unaware of.
Amen!!!
Amen from Canada as well!
So true! I am a Walmart associate and I am in the middle of a 2 week unpaid LOA because I needed a break from the craziness there! I am not looking forward to going back to work in such a crowded store where people still seem to think Walmart is a place to gather🤦
Absolutely 🌎Everywhere
I agree. I also REALLY appreciate the song though. I haven't seen anyone DIRECTLY say THANK YOU to the ppl who have to work. I'm just happy that Chris wrote a song of Gratitude.
this should be on tv and be our anthem for now
I just about cried!
Yes, so many selfish. Ignorant people out there..it is sad. But there are more thoughtful, responsible and generous people out there I believe.
Thank you for all that you do!
Thank you!
Thank you!!!!
You made me cry, have friends who are are in the professions !
❤ Thank you ❤
United with your nurse - as I am home nursing myself. Day 16 COVID+ frontliner. almost died, God saved me.
AND.... how about a HUGE THANK YOU to the ALWAYS FORGOTTEN IT ENGINEERS, SERVICE TECHNICIANS AND HELP DESKS!!!
