As a Brazilian and descending of Venetian Immigrants my relationship with family is strong. I've had so little human contact with my family, miss Christmas like crazy and wish to hug all of my cousins real tight. The world got too small and life is too scary. I almost lost my dad due to isolation, we made up and yet the shadow of the whole thing is bad. I fear that this time will be longer than it was expected.
Mrs T in my family there are 7 and I am a frontline healthcare pro user with COVID19 patients all on ventilators. We have 4 COVID19 units in our hospital
"Don't you worry I'm not going to jump out of the window." "No, it's too low, it would also be a shame for the pavement, so leave it." I love this doctor, excellent sense of humor given the situation. I'm especially surprised with how down to earth the kids in this documentary are, reasonably scared but also pulling through to help in whatever ways they can.

And I had hugged her and her family at Easter Dinner and we all were near each other the whole day!!! Her family got it as well. I was waiting for my turn to get sick and I didnt! She felt guilty but I told her you know what? I didnt get it! Dont feel guilty! I chose to have dinner with the family, I chose to let you hug me knowing you had been exposed. Its a risk but I can just as easily get it going to Walmart!
Frontline workers are heroes. Please keep them in our prayers. God will not forsake this earth. Human will thrive after this crisis. Never give up hope. Peace
Anyone who says "If I get this coronavirus I don't care" needs to watch this! Yes, most people only get mildly sick and others are asymptomatic, but this can be you! It's not old people that are like 80+, it can be anyone! God bless these doctors and nurses that are putting their life at risk saving others! These are the real heroes! It's not sports stars and movie figures that matter, but those on the front lines! Those are the people that hold society together! Grocery store workers (I am one), Walmart employees, EMTs, doctors, nurses, those supplying necessities to the people! We are the ones who matter!
I just cried everyday while all this was happening all around the world. It’s still happening cause people refuse to get vaccinated or the countries they live in do not have the vaccine. Living in the United States in a red state during all of this was so hard. I was terrified to leave the house so many people didn’t take Covid seriously so many still don’t. Even vaccinated I still wear my mask when I leave the house. Bless us. Bless the doctors and nurses.
I pray that you and your loved ones have stayed well. I'm current on vaccinations and still mask in public spaces (and it's 2024). The medical personnel, EMTs... ALL first responders are our heroes. But we're heroes too. None of us who witnessed this will ever be the same. There's no "normal" to go back to. But we've soldiered on. That takes courage too.
To all our family in Sicily, stay strong and please stay safe. We love and miss you all. Can't wait until it is safe to come and visit again. We are so thankful for the visit in the fall of 2018! God be with all of you! SALUTE!

im a doctor. 37 y/o. they say it only severely affects the old. dont let your guard down. i was infected by covid, and nearly died. it took me 2 months to recover. it did not only affect my lungs, but my heart as well. until now my lungs are still not 100%, and it might never be. prayers to all frontliners battling this pandemic.

Very powerful , cannot is express how grateful i am to have been able to have this story shared with me
Required viewing for everyone, especially those who want to resume their lives as if there is minimal threat of a subsequent widespread recurrence.
Mrs T in my family there are 7 and I am a frontline healthcare pro user with COVID19 patients all on ventilators. We have 4 COVID19 units in our hospital
Thank you so much for all you are doing to save others @Michelle A
@Mrs T you are sooo ignorant. Try exploring the world after this pandemic instead of being on your momma's basement forever.
PBS, thank you! You’ve been educating me my whole life... all the way back to Mr. Rogers... THANK YOU!
"Don't you worry I'm not going to jump out of the window."
"No, it's too low, it would also be a shame for the pavement, so leave it."
I love this doctor, excellent sense of humor given the situation. I'm especially surprised with how down to earth the kids in this documentary are, reasonably scared but also pulling through to help in whatever ways they can.
All the people who still think covid is a hoax need to watch this!
Yes it is a hoax. Virus is there, but not as bad as media tells us.
@@armeniagevorgyan1777 are you stupid or what?
@@armeniagevorgyan1777 you have posted cringe my fellow countryman. Good luck and stay safe.
It’s not a hoax, it’s an exercise, people are really bad at math or you’d see it already.
Nikiforos no I am not. I have eyes and I see the reality. Just for fuckin flu we shut down everything. Does that make any sense?????
Stay strong Italy! ✊🏼🇮🇹 From Indonesia 🇮🇩
My mother is fighting for her life with covid. I can't thank the frontline warriors enough for their struggles to safe us god bless you all.
Please pray for my mother.
How is she now?
I hope she survived
Did she survive
May the Lord bless and protect you from the corona-virus Francesca!
Thank you to all of the frontline warriors !
I'm grateful for the RAW TRUTH, the Dr.'s devotion. No fear of intimidation or Hostilities from Hospital authorities for presenting this footage. I hope other's follow her lead for combined show of unity, across continent's & language barriers. Medical staff, Dr's & Nurses need to perform there jobs effectively & have all the supplies/equipment/tools etc. to do it, without interference.
“ Rage Rage against the dying of the light “
As a doctor, I feel the mental stress and paranoia involved at work. All I can say is Thank you to all the bravehearts who have put their lives at risk and stayed away from their closed ones💔.

The healthcare workers are truly heroes!!!! One of my friends is an RN and she got Covid! She tested positive 2 days after Easter 2020.
Wow thankyou Francesca❤️❤️❤️🌍from Cape Town, South Africa

Excellent documentary but so emotional. What wonderful doctors and nurses and their families who live in fear of the virus infecting them.
Thx PBS.
watching this in 2023 ♥if anyone else is reading this comment, i'm glad you survived too ♥
rip to all the covid victims ♥
O Mio Dio. I'm devistated to see the numbers. God bless 🇮🇹
Imagine the next one being worse? god bless these brave people. Thank you
To all our family in Sicily, stay strong and please stay safe. We love and miss you all. Can't wait until it is safe to come and visit again. We are so thankful for the visit in the fall of 2018! God be with all of you! SALUTE!
God bless our doctors and nurses. All healthcare workers.
Loved it! Incredible what humanity can do.
Its an eye opener for everyone , please watch these
I’ve worked on a covid unit for about a year now and it’s scary. I still haven’t gotten it but the virus seems like it’s mutating to eventually catch everyone. I’m scared, idk how much longer I can keep avoiding it or spreading it to my family
Thank you 🙏🏼 ❤️
Hard to manifest all the feelings that came to me watching it, admiration is the main one. Reminds all of our humanity in these so dificcult times.
salute to all frontliners.
Im so happy for mattia
Always enjoy frontline. No matter what. ☆☆☆☆☆♡♡♡♡♡
It's sad to see everyone who got affected from this disease
FORZA ITALIA CON AMORE ❤️
