    You explained the mid bass would be wired in series, but the explanation of how to wire them was actually parallel (both positives together and both negatives together)

    I love the knowledge you give us,I been watching your videos and is very inspiring,I love car audio that I was able to save some cash and open a small location to start off but I would like to learn how to built my own Chuchero,is there anyway you can guide me I would really appreciate much love God Bless

    I just know, what amp are you guys using? I came across a Focal F5.1200 but I’m not exactly sure what I want to do. I have a 2001 Toyota Corolla, really want to do something special.

    Question i’m trying to run 2 chucheros that have 2 b&c 12 inch mh32 each, the rms of the speaker is 400 watts and the peak power is 800 watts. Do you think a 3000 watt 1 ohm amp from taramp is fine to run all 4? or should i get 5000 watt

      assuming you will parallel (4) 8 ohms speakers your final ohms is 2 ohms = if your 3000 watts @1 ohm - 2 ohms is only about 1500 watts - should be a perfect match 👍 . In short yes perfect combo 👍. Please reach out if you have any more questions. Easier to get me on Instagram as chuchero_world , best regards jimmy wong

    does wiring the tweeters in series rather than parallel make a difference? this my first chuchero and i feel like if i connect the negative to the positive imma f it up. any other info would help A LOT lol

      series ohm's go up, parallel ohm's go down. higher impedance draws less power from amplifier, power handling goes up. lower impedance draws more power from amplifier, power handling decreases

    can you connect those wires straight to the amp after or do you have to install one of those 8 pole connector plug then run to the amp? LMK please and thank you

      using a speakon cable is optional, you can use generic speaker cable = you just won't have a quick disconnect feature

      @@Migy_18 you would match the wires on both ends speakers x amplifier

    So what amp are you using and you making it for a 2 channel amp ?

    • @vipautonyc-chucheroworld-jimmy
      @vipautonyc-chucheroworld-jimmy  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      for this product we recorded a 4x channel amplifier, about 500w RMS x 4 for optimum results.
      dm me on IG if you need further assistance 🙏 bless up 🙏

    i have a 5 channel amp and i just got a chuchero can i wire the medusa/speakon cable straight into my amp or could i use normal speaker wire?

    • @vipautonyc-chucheroworld-jimmy
      @vipautonyc-chucheroworld-jimmy  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      yes you can use any 4 conductor cable, bridge front channels for high frequency = compression driver + tweeters, bridge rear channels for midrange speakers, 5 channel is your subwoofer. Make sure to use crossover on amplifier, it will optimize your sound quality. This is how you can utilize all 5 channels and get the maximum performance.

    Can you explain the final ohm loads?

    • @vipautonyc-chucheroworld-jimmy
      @vipautonyc-chucheroworld-jimmy  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      compression driver & tweeters are 4 ohm's, as well the speakers are also 4 ohm's

    • @vipautonyc-chucheroworld-jimmy
      @vipautonyc-chucheroworld-jimmy  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      two 8 ohm's speakers wired in parallel = 8 ohm's.
      two 4 ohm's tweeters wired in series is 8 ohm's = compression driver is 8 ohm's = tweeters wired in parallel with compression driver is 4 ohm's

    How do I wire my mid ranges if there both 4ohm

  • @fullpeladas
    @fullpeladas 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Lots of miss information . Calling parallel connection series n vise versa. All tweeters & horn on same channel and frequency do you know horns play at much lower frequency then tweeters. To make this correct youll need 6 channel of amplification with different capability of frequency settings. 😊. Also dont like chuchero I like cutom work . Didn't went to school for this its my hobby. I learn the basics from a magazine call Crutchfield back in 1990. Then self taught.

      I don't know how you would know what type of material we are using from the video, but what type of wood I am using in this enclosure? if you look carefully we laminated 2 different types of materials together. This was during covid, we hand laminated all of our materials at my shop.
