a capacitor is recommended but not required. as long as you can send the proper frequency to a speaker, compression driver a capacitor or crossover is not required.
I don't understand your inquiry. The tweeters & compression horn driver share the same channel. the tweeters are wired in series with there own capacitor, the compression horn driver is wired parallel with tweeters which has it's own capacitor. It has a combined nominal impedance of 4 ohm's

most likely one set is for the tweeters, other set for the compression drivers. if you need assistance bring it to your local shop. you van use a single 4 channel amplifier for this setup

Does the horn driver need a filter, crossover or can i wire it directly to the amp?

I'm so confused with the speakon connector, is it 1+ & 2- then 1- & 2+ . You had said 2- twice so just making sure
I use 1+ & 1- as left channel
2+ & 2- as right channel
What if wanted 2 boxes with exact same setup. What type of amp and would i need the buy 2?
a single 4x channel amplifier is excellent, it can give you plenty of flexibility

depends on what your working with, the ohms will determine how you wire it up

and where does the wires at the end plug into?

both channels are wired to 4 ohms, most amplifiers will play 4 or 2 ohms.

a 4 channel is recommended, or two 2 channel amplifiers. Ideally you can use a higher power on mid speakers, lesser power on compression drivers.

would a taram 400 4x4 be good for this?
