As a jayce one trick here are my few bonus tricks 1. Take to the skies can jump over some skill shots and cc. 2. You can frame perfect animation cancel all abilities like riven but its far more precise and inconsistent but good to know. 3.he is tankier in melee form so when going for longer trades avoid range form until you are outside the enemies range. 4. Jayces damage does not fall off like you would think so dont pressure yourself into having an amazing early game just relax going even can be enough to carry. 5. When Jayce switches form he gains ghost you can use this to short trade through minions and trap your opponent in the wave. Thats my top 5 easy to miss tips. There are way more and these are not the most important but the video does a fantastic job explaining almost everything so this is what I thought i could add.

I'm an M7 Jayce (play him everywhere but supp, jungle is especially fun) but had never tried Phase Rush. Tried it vs a Darius top cuz of this guide and it made the matchup completely unwinnable for him!

As for someone who plays Quinn, I and other Quinn players should defintely apply the early and mid game concepts with Jayce, with one difference being you can rotate to objectives alot faster when sidelaning. The other difference would also be with teamfighting, where either u can flank and play like an assassin and dive the backline, or play front to back like marksmen, depending on the enemy comp and game state.

This is different because some champs don't mind trading hp to deal damage. For example, Gragas and Vladimir will just trade and sustain up, and a Darius or Riven will face tank everything while they one shot you
Funny enough, your "horrible" enemy comp for Jayce is almost the perfect comp for Illaoi. She looves a team full of beefy melee engagers. But a Garen, Taliyah, Azir, Garen, Mileo comp sounds like hell for her lol

They removed ghost from form switching :(. Also you can animation cancel jayce melee q

I can add that both empowered attacks after changing the form act like a spells, so u can activate scorch or manaflow band with them.

You want to keep your hp as close to 100% as possible, while bringing their hp down to 0.
