That line from Morrison sounds like a matter of fact statement, whereas Wingreen sounded more like he was whining about it. I wouldn't expect one of the best bounty hunters to behave like that, I would expect him to be cold, emotionless and level-headed. Plus Boba is a clone, so either they change Boba's voice. Or the voice of Jango and all the other clones. I would rather Boba be changed.
@@xShadow_God are you kidding? I think you are confused. You actually have the 2 versions mixed up, Temura sounds whiny.. his voice pitches up when he says "dead" .. Wingreen doesn't change his pitch at all, intonation is cold blooded, emotionless, matter of fact..
@@jeneraljax29 I'm not confused and going back and re-listening, I am even more confident in my opinion. Temuera changed pitch to put emphasis on dead, good voice acting not whining. It shows his character actually gives a shit about his job. His delivery was spot on and really fit the bounty hunter feel. He said it clearly without emotion, it was a simple matter of fact statement. (Emphasis is not the same as emotion.) Wingreen has this generic monotone "evil" voice who sounds like he is whining/complaining with every line he gives. The "He's no good to me dead" line is by far the best one he gave, and the only one that I'd say fit the character. And even then, he really doesn't sound all that engaged. No agency from him at all, he is too apathetic. Him saying it like that added no depth or tension to situation. And all his other lines are just bad, no authority in his voice and sounds like he is plugging his nose the entire time. And he has this hiss in his voice, like a snake. I mean I really don't how to describe it other than a generic bad guy voice. That's all it sounds like. Take the line "What if he doesn't survive, he's worth a lot to me". That line from Wingreen was annoying, sounded like a kid complaining just to complain. Temuera said it like he meant it, his delivery was made with authority. Temura made it seem as if the Boba actually cares about the bounty (the money from the bounty). Whereas Wingreen made it seem like Boba was just bitching because he didn't get his way. To sum it up, Wingreen sounds fake, Temura sounds real. I don't hate Wingreens voice, but after hearing Temuera's lines I can't go back. He just fits the character better imo.
The "Its worth a lot to me!!" by Jason Wingreen is one phrase I will never forget. Very challenging to Vader like not giving a damn who is he talking to. My favorite by far.
I was just about to give up scrolling down to find someone who must be as old as me. 😁 I clearly remember finding that his voice sounded a little different in “The Empire Strikes Back”, but it didn’t bother me. It wasn’t until I saw “The Holiday Special” again decades later that I realized that the voice I had been expecting was Francks’! 😃 His voice is so deep, and crackles when he talks. Like his throat is made of broken glass. 🥶 I was never a fan of Morrison’s delivery at the beginning. He always sounded “too nice” to me. But, now that he’s got his own show coming up, it would help to have a more appealing voice, I suppose. He’s only the bad guy to the one he’s hunting. 😉
Jason Wingreen's voice over is my favorite, sounds exactly like how I imagine Boba would as he would want do his best to play himself off as Jango's son rather than an exact copy, especially as very few knew he was an unaltered clone of Jango Fett after all, and him keeping his dad's iconic accent would make it more obvious that he was a clone, especially to bounty hunters who knew Jango. Plus he sounds more badass, more professional, and all around more intimidating.
Wingreen sounds like a badass hissing at Vader in anger. Only the real Boba Fett would do that. Breckin Meyer is as close as we can get to Wingreen, now that he has passed.
Curtis Watson I agree completely: 1. Jason Wengreen 2. Dee Bradley Baker 3. Temuera Morrison Then again, I personally think they're all good in their own way. I know, I know kind of a cop-out, but my Top Three still stand
Wow, Don Francks played Walter in the TV series La Femme Nikita! I never knew he voiced the cartoon Boba Fett in the old Holiday Special. Jason Wingreen sounded bad ass as the original movie voice, but Temuera Morrison makes more sense now. Dee Baker was just awesome in Clone Wars. I'm copping out, I like them all
I like the Non-Special edition Boba because he just sounds awesome. But i also like De Bradly Baker Boba because thats what he would actually sound like cus hes a Clone
While Jason Wingreen will always be my favorite, I can see why Morrison was brought in for continuity reasons. Unfortunately the re-recorded Empire lines sound rushed; AOTC and the video games are a much better indication of his talent. Oh, and the Mandalorian.
I love how you threw in the Breckin Meyers character even though his take is based off a spoof of the original Bobba Fett lol. Great choice in adding him into the mix.
Vegetarian Soylent Green don’t forget he grew up with other bounty hunters, haven’t seen any clones for a long time, and separated from Jango at 10 years old

I love Boba's original scratchy voice, but replacing Wingreen with Morrison was really dick move to Wingreen, I don't think he sounds that badass in the movies. Yes, he had only five lines (and one of them was AAAAAGH), but the new voice kinda reduces Boba's bad assery. I'm not sure why, but in the games, Morrison sounds lot better.
The funny thing with Boba, is that his first appearance was in an era of animation where everything looked dirty or grungy, like that movie Wizards from 1977. And that dirty look is still used to this day. Also Breckin Meyer is the best for Boba XD
He’s alive 100%. That was definitely him in the post credits scene- the EXACT same radio chatter plays that plays in episode IV when he leaves Jabba and Han talking. Also, the canon Aftermath book describes a clan of Jawas who are in possession of mandalorian armour burnt by acid- Sarlaac stomach acid 😆🤯
A really tough choice! If I'd have to pick ONLY one it would have been Don Francks ... that is until I saw Boba's Cameo in Jedi: Survivor - Temuera Morrison really nailed his voice there and climbed to the top of my personal voice rating :-)
It just sucks that Morrison sounds so off in ESB, but that’s what you get when George calls you up at 4 in the morning to record dialogue over the phone
+Nowel Bobke Morrison sounds good in the games and as Jango but Wingreen sounds much better in episode V. He sounds exactly how he should, like a badass bounty hunter. He is so threatening. Morrison sounds like Vader's lap dog. He is to obedient and is not threatening at all. It sounds like Morrison didn't give a shit while recording his lines.
I like how Breckin Meyer said more words as Boba Fett in one scene of the Robot Chicken parity than all the other actors of the original trilogy put together.
I love both Morrison and Wingreen. Morrison’s Boba is much more suave and professional, while Wingreen’s Boba evokes a cold hearted killer willing to do anything to get his pay.

2. Temuera Morrison
3. Dee Bradley Baker
1. Breckin Meyer
2.
3.
I definitely agree that Jason Wingreen is the best nothing beats his empire strikes back voice
No, Jason WIngreen sounds way too much like he's an angry Hobbit pirate with that west country accent, it definitely breaks immersion. It's a good performance, nonetheless.
@@maaz322 I agree, although I like Jason Wingreen's Boba, something about the way he overpronounces "dead" and "survive" is super weird. Always thought Morrison's voice was perfect, though.
How is bobas real voice (Temuera Morrison) not the best one?!
The clones are so absolutely bad ass and they couldn’t’ve picked better.
Met Daniel Logan, Dee Baker and Temuera this year. They were Awesome
Wingreen will always be the voice of boba to me. Gruff, gritty, and not a shred of compassion.
Temuera Morrison if my favorite.

Ya
Slime Farm nah I loved dee Bradley as clones, but only clones not boba
“I’m just a simple man making his way through the Galaxy, like my father before me.”
Don Francks was technically the original, oddly enough.
Dee Bradly Baker and Temura Morrison.
+TwitchingFool0 for sure
Bakers forehead though
TheKurre2 you could slide down it
+MaGesticLean yes but.... what if someone lived on that forehead
I 100% agree with you
Breckin meyer definitely matched the original actor the most lmao
"On the way down I was thinkin' maybe I shoulda left 'em a party favour... oh wait a minute, I did, a thermal detonator, right up their asses, BABOOM!!"
Wingreen’s voice has such soul-less menace. It’s the perfect voice for a mercenary.
The rest are just trying to tap into it.
@MagicalMysteryTube Wingreen's is like a less cool version of Vader's voice. Morrison's makes Boba sound cool and calculated, as he's supposed to be.
@@inarencommander4663 I really get that professional, no nonsense vibe from Morrison. Wingreen sounds like a generic bad/evil guy to me, and he comes of pretty naggy.
He's no good to me dead.
@Chiaroscuro I completely agree! It's like Fett is speaking from beyond the grave. It added to the mystery.
(Emphasis is not the same as emotion.)
Wingreen has this generic monotone "evil" voice who sounds like he is whining/complaining with every line he gives.
Respect to all voice actors who contributed to the legend. Saying that, Temuera and his voice are so fitting!
Our boi got his armor back & kicked ass in the last episode
ok
Dee Bradley Baker did such a good impression of Wingreen's fett. Love it!
Don Francks voice as Boba Fett makes me happy
I was just about to give up scrolling down to find someone who must be as old as me. 😁
I clearly remember finding that his voice sounded a little different in “The Empire Strikes Back”, but it didn’t bother me. It wasn’t until I saw “The Holiday Special” again decades later that I realized that the voice I had been expecting was Francks’! 😃
His voice is so deep, and crackles when he talks. Like his throat is made of broken glass. 🥶
I was never a fan of Morrison’s delivery at the beginning. He always sounded “too nice” to me. But, now that he’s got his own show coming up, it would help to have a more appealing voice, I suppose. He’s only the bad guy to the one he’s hunting. 😉
I prefer Morrison's
Same
Actually I prefer Dee Bradley baker's over Morrison's because you know the clone wars
same
+Nick Flowers Ayy lmao you see!
But really Wingreen always and forever!
BOBA FETT SWBF I agree
Temuera should really go back and re-record his lines in ESB Special Edition, he sounds better in Battlefront.
Rish Fish
Well, he recorded the lines of ESB by phone. He didn't even have time to properly voiceact.
He sounds even better in the remake, he manages to sound like Wingreen without hamming it up.
Not really.
THAT WAS FOR JANGO
Of course..........oh wait! isn't he dead!?😒
Don’t steal my lines Greedo..
@Boba Fett Greedo: Maclunkey. (Shoots first)
The_Scientist777 (miss)
That was one of my favorites from that game
EA & Disney not putting it in battlefront ll breaks my heart
Wingreen sounds like a badass hissing at Vader in anger. Only the real Boba Fett would do that.
Breckin Meyer is as close as we can get to Wingreen, now that he has passed.
....
1:24
Star wars battlefront III confirmed
😂🤣🤣
The series was rebooted. Lol
I like his original movie voice, Dee Baker was a close second and I guess Temura Morrison is a good third...
Curtis Watson I agree completely: 1. Jason Wengreen 2. Dee Bradley Baker 3. Temuera Morrison
Then again, I personally think they're all good in their own way. I know, I know kind of a cop-out, but my Top Three still stand
I agree
I like Morrison because he played Jango and Boba is a exact copy of Jango, literally he is a clone. So he’s technically the real voice.
Gnerdy123 that’s not how it works but ok
Totally Not a Phoenix Spy Please. Inform me.
I think we can all agree that Breckin Meyer is the best Boba Fett.
Jason Wingreen's Boba Fett Voice is my favorite because of how haunting it sounds
While Jason Wingreen will always be my favorite, I can see why Morrison was brought in for continuity reasons. Unfortunately the re-recorded Empire lines sound rushed; AOTC and the video games are a much better indication of his talent. Oh, and the Mandalorian.
Breckin Meyer is the only true Boba
I love that he's in the lineup. All these deadly-serious Boba Fetts and then "I was flyin' around with my jetpack, smokin' rebels left and right..."
Will X Wingreen IS Boba Fett...
Will X 😂😂😂
No Morrison
They are all pretty good.
1: Jason Wingreen
2: Temuera Morrison
3: Dee bradley baker
I love how you threw in the Breckin Meyers character even though his take is based off a spoof of the original Bobba Fett lol. Great choice in adding him into the mix.
Boba literally looks exactly like Morrison (or in this case, Jango) so I think he should sound like Morrison too.
He is literally Jango's clone, so yes
Well accents aren't genetic, so I think there's some wriggle room.
Vegetarian Soylent Green don’t forget he grew up with other bounty hunters, haven’t seen any clones for a long time, and separated from Jango at 10 years old
@@mh-53pavelow69 and jangos head separated from his body lol
@@basedbattledroid3507 are voice boxes not genetic? I think accents work perfectly with boba. Plus he was with jango during his most critical learning periods within his life so ofc he has the accent.
Jason Wingreen's is probably my favorite. While I do also like Temuera Morrison as Boba, I still don't think the original trilogy should have been changed, including Boba's voice.
Also R.I.P. both Jason Wingreen and Jeremy Bulloch.
Jason Wingreen and Breckin Meyer are clearly the best. So much personality.
Hope we get Morrison back for Mandalorian.
This aged well man
@@null54118 This is the way.
Man this some damb Good wine
DedCorp i don't think that's what irony means
Wish granted.
I like how the new iterations besides Kane all resemble morrison's version (which I think is perfect). Meyer is pretty perfect to in...other ways lol
+Valpas Kankaristo The New voice fits the lore much better. And nice taking that line from ERB :)
+Valpas Kankaristo wingreen had much more attitude in his voice better fitting for boba fett sounded prideful
Jason Wingreen is the best, so menacing. Morrison just sounds like he's reading lines.
I agree,it seems like I’m the only one
I always felt Morrison portrayed Boba's character better, more of a laid back, confident bounty hunter
Exactly. Morrison's is a bit bland compared to Wingreen's.
ok boomer
The funny thing with Boba, is that his first appearance was in an era of animation where everything looked dirty or grungy, like that movie Wizards from 1977. And that dirty look is still used to this day.
Also Breckin Meyer is the best for Boba XD
The original voice actor for Empire is actually pretty good too
He’s alive 100%.
Hmmm..you never know
This aged very well
A really tough choice! If I'd have to pick ONLY one it would have been Don Francks ... that is until I saw Boba's Cameo in Jedi: Survivor - Temuera Morrison really nailed his voice there and climbed to the top of my personal voice rating :-)
robot chicken boba wins imho
+Telecaster Magician LOL!
+Telecaster Magician He always wins.
Fuckboi and Lavacunt LoL 😂
Rip Jeremy Bulloch
God rest his soul
It just sucks that Morrison sounds so off in ESB, but that’s what you get when George calls you up at 4 in the morning to record dialogue over the phone
nobody beats Morrison
Except Wingreen.
+John Lynch Wingreen sounds like a fucking pirate, Morrison sounds like a what a bounty Hunter should sound like, menacing as fuck
+Nowel Bobke Morrison doesn't sound threatening at all in Episode V.
+John Lynch Morrison is more believable as a character. the pirate voice is out of place
Jason Winngren no doubt.
+Baraco Barner Yeah, he sounds like a realy scary bounty hunter!
+Jay Mex I prefer temuera Morrison
+EJ ikr same
I always thought he sounded too old
+Baraco Barner #true
I like how Breckin Meyer said more words as Boba Fett in one scene of the Robot Chicken parity than all the other actors of the original trilogy put together.
Morrison is always gonna be Jango and Boba to me.. Nothing can defeat his version of Boba's voice.
Yeah, man!
Except Jason Wingreen. The best voice actor for Boba Fett.
Jason wingreen had the coolest voice ever
Temuera Morrison and Dee Bradley Baker will always be my 2 favorites. They both nail the roles of Jango, Boba, and the clones real well
And now the legend himself is back
RIP Jeremy Bulloch
Wingreen’s voice is my favorite. Completely off the record I just recognized the actor from two original twilight zone episodes and all in the family.
Storm troopers: What the
Boba Fett: Oh look who’s back from the dead!
To me, Jason Wingreen is the only Boba Fett
Morrison's voice for Boba Fett did not put fear in me but Jason Wingreen sure frightened me.
Best voice at 1:39
Breckin Meyer has my vote lets get his voice in the new Boba Fett movie.
Noooo Morrison.
Inaren Commander I think he meant that like a joke, plus I think he’s retired
