Quick question, what octane fuel do you run when running a basemap, I have a catless header 3inch catback, and a cold air intake , just wondering if it should be 91 or 93
Nice video! I have an FA5 and recently got the flash pro. What tune would you recommend? if I have a: Skunk2 CAI Invidia Q300 exhaust Skunk2 pro series Intake manifold J37 throttle body Stock headers.
Thanks bro really appreciate it. Man if I was you I would pay for a real tune cause of the j throttle body. If you put a base map on your car right now it’s probably not going to ran right.
So I have an FG2 (08 Si) rt now I have Injen SRI Intake, PLM Header, Skunk2 02 Sensor extensor, hondata flashpro and injen intake heat shield. Might get P2R Throttle body spacer too. I haven’t install any of them yet. Once install all of them the pro will load based map for the time being before getting fully tuned on dyno. From your experience, after I get fully tuned on dyno do I always have to plug hondata flashpro in or I don’t have to worry about anything? Thx!
No you don't have to have you hondata flashpro on all the time. Only if you want too to use the bluetooth thing on your flashpro with the flashpro app.
Milly_Productions nice and what size exhaust do you have I currently have spec d it's a cheap brand from Ebay and its 2.25 inch should I upgrade to 2.50 or 3.0 inch exhaust my friend can custom make it for me his a welder
if i remember my exhaust is a 2.75 in. i really don't remember my exhaust brand. My brother had a 3 in exhaust and it was loud ass hell lol. it made a big differences.
great video bro..can't wait to get my flashpro for my fa5 civic si..i already have dc sport intake,megan/manzo shorty header, manzo catless downpipe, tsudo s2 2.75" catback exhaust, but i haven't installed the downpipe until i get the flashpro cuz as it is,just with the intake, exhaust,my car is running lean,so i def need the flashpro
Bro your going to love the flashpro. But if I was you I would get a Professional tune because base maps can run your car rich but you will feel the difference trust me bro.
FA5_Squad how about with just the base tune and with the mods i have, will i notice a big difference or do i need to get it pro tuned first?cuz ima get the fp but ima have to wait till i supercharge b4 i get it pro tuned
Good quality Intake and exhaust is about all you can do besides tuning it after that’s worth the money any other mods that could help just isn’t worth it on the r18s hood thing you don’t have the cvt trans like the 2013+ so there’s a plus there
Legit bro! My flashpro will be here Thursday! Have an 07' fg2 I/H/E/TBS... She's gonna pull like crazy ;) How long have you been running a basemap? How reliable are base maps?
Thank you a lot bro I really do appreciated. That's good bro. you will feel a hell of a difference. I been having a basemap for about 1 year now and its been good. it saves more gas lol!!!! I have went to California without the flashpro I got about 380 miles on a tank of gas and when I came back home I put a basemap and got 440 miles on a tank of gas
Depends on the car but more or less Unlock parameters that factory dampens to make the car more Eco friendly also optimizes any mods you may have added
I have an 08 R18(non si) civic w/ automatic transmission. It has a catback exhaust and sri on it, do you think it is worth getting hondata or not? Would I see any noticeable difference in how the car drives?
@@kiellieferickson5506 Well, I don't have the car anymore but I never timed stock vs tune. I would say it's worth it for more straight line performance. It wasn't the fastest car in the world of course but vs stock you felt and could tell it had a little more getty up. Not fast by any means but I would pull on my old coworkers honda that was stock.
Good video bro that's some good input 👍👍👍 now I can't wait to buy my flash pro
My dude, I know this is a car topic, but you have the same PC case I do. I built my PC in November of 2017.
what if I just have a skunk2 CAI and nothing else? I dont see a basemap for it
Thanks dude, can’t wait till tomorrow...
Does it matter to get the $500 limited flashpro? Or just go for more expensive full race flashpro for FA5?

I'm running 93

Did this get rid of rev hang
Yes but not 100% at least with a basemap. My brother had a dyno tune and you cant tell it has a rev hang.
Milly_Productions thanks did u notice any power gains ?
michael tu papi yes I did Specially when the VTEC kicks in.

yeah you will!!!! I'm using a base map on stock si and I fell a big difference.
I'm going to make a video soon about the difference between stock tune and a base map from hondata.
With revlimter does it affect when blipping throttle? Changing gears will it limit the revs? Or only when car is still before launch?
I think it only activates when clutch fully depressed and wide open throttle
Can i buy hondata dat is not carb legal and when i do emission i can just reset it to stock?
BADHERO yes you can, on pro civic.com they have both flash pros
Noticed any difference in power?
The truth yes, you can tell the differences. specially when vtec kick in.
Milly_Productions sweet, thanks
No problem!!! :)
Can you add another calibration in case you didn’t upload it on the first time
Thx for sharing!I'm in Cali, and have a 2012 civic r18.is there anything I can upgrade to help increase hp and torque?of course before getting a flash

You have to keep the hondata plug in to the OBD2 after it's program??
Yes you can unplug it after you programmed it to your car..
thanks bro!!
Lifesaver!
how to hondata flashpro basis map
Thank you 🙏
bro this was awesome
so do I need to get a dyno tune at all after doing this?
It's recommended eventually after you get all your mods to get a professional tune.

FA5_Squad that's so dope! What're your current mods? 440 miles for a full tank, that's awesome... so glad I picked one up
It only has a cai right now. I'm waiting on my header right now.
FA5_Squad let me guess, you're getting a skunk2 alpha header?
Gerb Productions no bro I got INVIDIA it’s better. My brother had skunk 2 and the welds on the header broke.
what does getting a tune do

I have it on my non si. Difference is noticeable.
No
@@jacobshort5378 ..how noticeable?

I have a question. If a buy one flash pro can I use the same for both of my civic if are a similar year or I have to buy two?
no you have to get two. the flash pro locks to one cars vin and cant be used with 2 cars.
@@miltonardon25 thank you for the information
how can you tell if your A/F Ratio is normal?
14.7:1 is the stoichiometric ratio for AF. lambda should be around 1 aswell! I know this is 2 years old but someone else might see it :)
Dont like this video..very shaky ..made me had a bad headache
Made you had a bad headache huh? Shit how do you have a headache without a brain??
you can't be a real person
Ty dude
