    If you look carefully, you can see the next go-fast mod for the Civic hiding in plain sight in this video. 👀👀👀

    Turn the rev hang off and put the stock tune back on its way faster

    Getting rid of the Rev Hang is such a Game Changer!

    Hondata is such a great value for everything it does. Great video man. The rev hang fix was great and definitely makes it worth it alone.
    My first tune we used the lower vtec engagement but I ended up going back to the stock engagements for my second tune.

    Nice review! I literally just bought a bunch of parts for my FG2 last night and now wish I bought Hondata instead of some other parts lol!

    Was hoping you would do this soon! Ive got a stock fa5 as well and was wondering if hondata was worth it. The rev hang on this car is brutal! Looking forward to seeing more mods dude

    I was looking for a reason to buy the flashpro. I was on the fence if I buy it now or later when I get intake and headers. I might just get the flashpro first and go from there.

    Why does your intake whine like that!!! Mine does the same thing

    I'm with ya. I owned my FA5 for about two years before I got a FlashPro and a custom tune. It should have been my first modification. Live and Learn.
    I am currenty running a hybrid racing CAI and a Invidia Q300 catback. I put down 200 WHP with the FlashPro.
    Up next is a aFe catted long tube header and also the ZFX throttle body with a ported intake manifold. Waiting for both of those to come in. Will let ya know what the dyno says about those mods.

    Can I use this flash on my civic with intake headers and 3 inch exhaust?

      Hondata has off the shelf maps for a lot of different setups, and can tuned to optimize your setup.

    is it safe to take the stock motor up to 8600rpm?

    • @DriveBreakFixRepeat
      @DriveBreakFixRepeat  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Safe is relative, but the JDM/Euro spec motors rev to 8,500 stock.

      Hondata know what they're doing. They wouldn't provide a plug 'n' play configuration with a dangerous rev limiter.

      my boys 8th gen revs to 9k it isn’t bad for the stock motor
