Always appreciate your videos! I appreciate your honesty and approach. I’ve been struggling with a lot of social issues lately in regards to how I handle the depressive symptoms. I am trying to have positive thinking, but some people close to me view it negatively that I try to look at the bright side or cultivate gratitude. It, quite frankly, keeps me afloat. I do not like excess complaining because it brings me down. Trying to find a balance between being perceived as “shutting out challenges” and, how I prefer to think, seeing it as just that- a challenge! It was relatable when he changed “burden” to “challenge”. Thanks for being one of the many voices in the community that helps me re-start better moods when I’m all but drained. May peace be with you.

Oh, I love that subtle but powerful shift in wording, from "burden" to "challenge"! I too struggle with being around others, especially loved ones, when I'm feeling depressed; I don't want to suck them down to my low level. But every little effort counts. Keep shining your beautiful light.

Women with Autism are more likely to have strengths in the communication and social side of the “autism symptoms” spectrum whatever it should be called (I feel like I have worded this much better but now is not that moment lol) another reason why so many people discount Women having Autism so frequently! My older brother is wellish spoken but he is not able to live alone and struggles severely in other areas, but many people have accused him of faking because he can talk and has a high IQ, As long as I have a list of what needs done and when and how I can break routines and Be fine and I can care for myself and others just fine, I can communicate well but when it comes to talking to people or interacting with people I struggle with knowing whether or not I am behaving or communicating appropriately. One of the reasons I love doing videos because I can ask people to review them and I often go back and edit Things that would maybe come across confusing to people.
I super appreciate you touching on this topic, as getting this understood is one of the most important steps to not only normalizing and understanding Autism, but ensuring people like my brother and oldest son can receive the services they Need, but can’t always get because talking and high iQ= “high functioning”.
I truly hope your channel blossoms❤️ People need to see what you have to say
