- ODDBALL TENNIS: My best mate was a semi-pro tennis player. And amazingly, for all the time we’ve known each other, we’ve never played a set of tennis. I thought it was about time we had ourselves a game! I proposed that every point should be played on a different court. With good friend Robby along as umpire/coach/net holder and road-trip advisor, we started in the city and ended in the country- getting my arse kicked across half the state! This was a wickedly fun, horrible game of tennis.

Most TH-camrs spend an average of about 40 hours editing a video let alone the actual recording and production

Beau has convinced me a positive attitude can make any situation better. Having fun in life is the key.
Beau is the only youtuber that I truly feel does things just to do them. He does things that don't make much sense, just because he wants to, and the result is always a heartwarming video that often has some sort of underlying message that is deep and profound.

I love how most of your videos start off with a seemingly "ridiculous" premise, but when you look at the perspective of a few good friends spending the day together sharing a bucket full of laughs and some sport, it makes perfect sense to me.
And he’s pretty decent at tennis too? Runner, builder, recycler, author, podcaster… Bloody hell Beau show us something you can’t do mate 😂

I have fallen in love with this channel and his outlook on life. The way he interacts with everyone and everything around him. This channel should have so much more push to be viewed cause it's good for everyone to watch. Amazing content and raises awareness for so many different things. All done in a way that your emerged into every story he tells
I love videos that I feel sceptical of when I see the title, then I watch them and never want them to end. Just listening to these gentlemen laugh brings a smile to your face.

Thanks for the treat m8 (and team!). Haven't had that much fun watching people play tennis since my mum stopped playing 15ish years ago. Miss her cursing like a sailor and throwing all kinds of ridiculous fits on the court ;) At 85 now she kinda calmed down a bit...

What an absolutely amazing video and a great group of friends. There's something sad about seeing those old courts being left to deteriorate though. I imagine they each have a rich backstory filled with the best of intentions until they just slowly fell out of use.

One of the best story telling channels out there, it is like you are watching a highly produced tv program. With the one difference that this is way more personal and less scripted. Beau thanks a lot for this episode. This made my day!

For some reason, I had it in my head that Beau had probably not played much tennis before, but that's quite a solid serve. Going to be playing for the first time since covid today, and I hope my serve is half as good as that.
Bravo beau and rowy! With out a doubt my favorite new series from my absolute favorite man on the tube.
This is unreal, nice to see the local courts of Arrabri in Bayswater north, and Belmont in Croydon south that I used to spend the school holiday programs playing various sports on.
As well as the great content, the ambient noise of a magpie in aus, takes me right back to my last visit, love it.
Best video in series so far...memories made. Fun had. You didn't eat anything off the ground.
As someone who also "hits balls for a living," and is a huge fan of your videos and general life philosophy - THIS WAS AWESOME
A buddy and I used to play every Sunday morning at 6:00 am, rain or shine. On cloudy mornings, we had to wait for more sun to start our match. We were done before the real players arrived at the courts and having a beer by the pool before the neighbours were out of bed. Great fun.
Tennis was big in Oz in the 70s, and then it all faded in the 80s - probably the last time some of these courts were used.
