Nick, the ground in the camping sites in the north of WA can be a nightmare for traditional pegs, also out in the wheatbelt where it can be hard clay, fekkin hard. But especially in the Pilbara as its fekkin hard and full of peg-bending rocks. So you may scoff, but it's a real problem and this looks like a good solution.
Yep they are great. A bit of a tip. I also carry a masonry drill bit for when you get really hard ground and predrill.
