This ONE Thing Makes Camping WAY Easier - Supapeg

  • After a long days drive the last thing you need while setting up camp is for your tent or awning pegs to not hold in the ground you are camping on. This has happened to us way too many times on our #biglap around Australia. SO much so that we bought new 'stronger' tent pegs. Its wasn't long before there also found ground that that would hold or hammer into.
Thats when we found an Aussie Company called Supapeg, who have reinvented the standard Tent Peg into something that every traveller and camper should have.
If you want to check out Supapeg's products for yourself here is there link
    supapeg.com.au...
You can also buy the pegs from Tent World and they won't break the bank
We hope you have liked this video and if it was helpful please give it a thumbs up. Also don't forget to check out our weekly vlogs for our travels around Australia
    Cheers,
    Matt

Haha, love the into, so many of us have been there and done that. We have started switching to sand bags, so much easier for short stops. Even if you have pegs that will go in, you have to get them out again and that can be almost as hard. When using pegs, hammering them in at 30-45 degrees is often much more successful than 90 degrees.

Love ‘em! I’ve become the world expert at straightening tent pegs so I can get them into hard ground. I use the trailer a-frame, car tow bar or some any other substantial piece of steel I can find as an anvil. Sometimes even a very hard piece of hardwood is good enough. But the Supapeg looks the go.

Great video and awesome product. We've been using supapegs for years and have camped all over Australia, like you guys. These pegs out last every other peg I've seen. Keep the video's coming.

The supapeg steel pegs are great, even better if you carry their shorter version ( same thick shaft) for hard ground, why drive long pegs in if its not necessary.

If you hold your tent peg with a pair of pliers it won't shock your hand and will go in faster and easier. But the best thing I've found is about a foot long nail. Probably 3/16 inch thick. They don't bend. Like your videos. We're you tubers Keeping it Real from Grand Junction, colorado. Rich and Terrie

Next, we need a review on some skyhooks. Invaluable for holding stuff up. Jokes aside, great review...though Graham Beck hit the nail on the head with his coach screw suggestion. The problem with all pegs is not just putting them in, its pulling them out again and Graham's coach screws solve that problem too.

The pegs are cheaper aren't they? Long coach bolts cost a bit. Though, with you all the way wrt ease of putting in and pulling out coach bolts with a battery tool - it can't be beaten.

The superpeg could be assisted by a handle, ie a piece of channel with some rubber around the end that you hold and possibly a plate on top of the channel to give it a larger striking area
