All this hard work and not giving any results. Went through the channel as well, couldn't find anything. Thank you for wasting my time, and thanks TH-cam for removing the number of dislike so we get to see those kind of videos.

Awesome test and nice write up on your website. As it happens I just ordered some very similar to the best overall performers in the test. Planning on going to a sandy site, and screw-in is the only way to go.

    No results?

Very informative. There are no real results however. So which ones are best? Apart from the obvious that sand pegs work well in sand. Looking at hard ground pegs to be honest, otherwise a normal mallet and average Joe steel peg is all you need in any situation.

  • @placestosea

using short pegs for hard ground is a better option, so you don't have to drive them in as far( screw and/or standard pegs) so just carry a few shorter ones with you.

nice! I like the idea of screw in pegs, I live in Arizona the ground is hard and there are tons of rocks, so with a hammer in peg you have to put some work in, if you hit a rock you have to pry it back up and start again, sometimes you wear yourself out just putting pegs in and end up with only half that can even go anywhere. screw in would speed the process, may still not always be able to set a peg but you aren't tuckered out from the effort.I think I will save some money and get some long lag bolts , my ten will work well with lag bolts and washers.
