I have no idea why this car is not appreciated more. I’m 6-4 and have plenty of room. It accelerate into freeway traffic well. I averaged 46 to 54 mpg.
Toyota has prepped a series of upgrades for their compact hybrid MPV, the Prius+, for 2017MY. The brand's engineers have reduced the engine revs by approximately 1,000 rpm, while maintaining acceleration, by using more electric power to support the 1.8-liter VVT-I Atkinson cycle petrol burner, while the CVT (continuously variable transmission) has underwent some revisions that secure a quieter and more linear acceleration, resulting in a smoother ride. A series of additional sound insulation, introduced in the platform, dashboard, lower section of the side and rear doors and in the door frames, along with a tunnel silencer, has improved quietness inside. The list of upgrades also checks the Toyota Touch 2 multimedia system, which has been tweaked to the latest version and uses the same centrally mounted touchscreen to offer simpler and more intuitive menu designs. Toyota's Touch 2 with Go Package now includes three years of map and connectivity updates, along with the customer option of two extra years of extension, ensuring accurate route planning and support from a wide range of apps that provide traffic info, parking availability, fuel prices and weather. The system also allows users to link to Google Search, Google Streetview, Twitter, Aupeo! and Aha. The range of upgrades is completed by a new shade, called Phantom Blue.
Toyota is still BS'ing about the MPG numbers. Recycling the 1.8L is still a FAIL. I was more comfortable in the last Gen Prius over this. The beak on this thing is huge. Probably related to crash test scores. It only makes sense to lease one of these or get a used one since these are ultra reliable.
I love the wagon but it is laxidasical... When getting on up to highway freeway speeds.. matter fact it is really dangerous when trying to pass somebody on the highway especially if you have passengers or Cargo in the vehicle be very very careful when getting on highway speeds.. took it back to the dealer and they said they could not do no more for the highway speed so I am wanting people to be careful when getting on the freeway I'll have passion just trying to pass somebody it is critical that you know this before you buy it.... I own one I should know and I'm telling you... Other than that gets pretty good highway mileage about 42 a gallon..
do you know if the toyota prius engine is flex fuel capable meaning can I run on other fuel types , thinking of replacing some caravans with this thing
Love my 2014 Prius V. It goes, it doesn’t break down, and it carries stuff. Have also camped in it all over North America.

The Prius V is a great car

I noticed that toyota puts more weight on the car the worst the prius platform gets. The regular prius is suited well.
when you honked tha horn!!

Mazda 5 should come back as a hybrid plug in. In Australia they make a prius v with a third row.

Only 10% ethanol. I'm a Prius c owner.
+TJC450 ah so 87 octane would work , can it run on propane?
+Sartaj Aujla no. Lol. I guess anything more than 10% ethanol is not okay. So no they are not e-85 compatible.
does it offer lane safety and collusion breaking?
He said it does offer each, though those may be optional features.
This Can Save Gas.
like my friend sabrina's car
Why is the front end so ugly? It doesn't look aerodynamic at all! And the gas mileage sucks for a hybrid.
new smart car
doesn’t the Prius V only weigh like 55 lbs. more than the Prius? if this car is too heavy for this engine than so is the regular Prius .
well I guess it's more like 300 lbs. so that could make a difference I suppose.
Cameron, I think it would be better to take out those intro music, and just talk right away
Nah he's trying to change his style. Leave him alone.
+Savann Williams hey ur the person that called me stupid but i guess maybe ur not wrong
