It’s not an insult. How would YOU know about rich people being happy if you’re not rich. Only rich people can tell you their experience. There isn’t some set amount of money that you reach and all of a sudden you’re happy. I grew up relatively poor, but I had a great life growing up. I wouldn’t trade my experiences up to this point for any amount of money.
The longest ever study done on happiness concluded that those who had more, quality relationships are the ones who were happiest. The biggest regret was not spending enough time with loved ones. So yeah, money doesn’t buy happiness. However, poverty will more generally lead to unhappiness. But once you reach that comfortable level, or close to it, notice how almost everyone who earned a reasonable income or higher basically had the same answer? It’s almost as if they don’t care about the money, but what it’s really showing us if their lack of stress over money. And as long as they use their money wisely to live a balanced life not controlled by objects, they can be quite content. I agree with the last answer: "Not on its own but it definitely helps...". Most of us have some idea of what our ideal life would look like and what would make us happy. In a world where just about everything costs something, money will most likely be an ingredient in one's pursuit of happiness, even if your goal is as simple as, like another participant said, 'to be debt-free', money will be necessary to take that strain off of your shoulders. However, without proper self-awareness, all the money in the world could leave many unfulfilled...

The company doesn’t make a profit. The company just sets itself up so that the money it brings in is roughly the same as all the expenses the company has. The CEO’s salary would be an expense of the company, as well as the salaries of all the other workers. The only one who doesn’t make any money is the ‘company itself’, which is not a real person.

What's fascinating about this; is the poor and the overly rich said yes, but the comfortable salaries in the middle said no. I feel not enough and too much money can actually make you blind. I'm in the middle and I find my nice paychecks just a crutch. You can't buy health, love, authentic friends, and good luck.
